A question that could come up is this- how the hell does this have anything to do with communism? Here's how, the black power movement was an armed resistence supported by the community of the oppressed against the oppresors. The Black Panthers were outspoken socialists and even made "The Red Book" by Mao required reading, and men like Robert F. Williams were communists, Malcolm X always said "show me a capitalist and I'll show you a racist".
This movement could have gone farther, but it was a victory over the opressors and therefore a victory of capitalism.

I'm glad that we have this forum. I'm very excited that I'm not the only communist who sees the Black power movement as an act of anti-capitalism

But why just black? I'm all for black power but any kind of oppression is capitalist...sexism, ageism, racism, religion...ism...XD
Instead of separating and going for the oppression olympics, we should have all oppression stuff in the same category. It's all the same, just different labels are used...and some like black women get doubly screwed.
