The Meng Ue Mansion

Welcome Friend, My home, your home.
Until you break something. Then go back to your home. >:[!

The house it's self can be rather hard to find on the overgrown, wild estate, as tall trees shade it from view of strangers. Peeling paint, rotting wood, chipped stone and statues, the house tells tales of long neglect, and whispers of a previous life of beauty and elegance. The tall grass ends a good 20 feet away from the house, however, and there are hints of patching up and repair on the ancient mansion. There is even a pathway of short, cut grass leading to a small cottage that is also being restored to it's previous state of loveliness, and slighty away from that, a tall stable and pasture land.

Some things to note

--Please PM me before posting here! There could be something going on, and it might be better to wait. n_n
--There will be no smut here. Sorry.
--Chi doesn't really do RP combat. She's had far too many bad experiences with it, so, don't come in here expecting to kick the crap outta the Dou here.
--Feel free to leave gifts and notes here, despite the RP going on. Chi will find it sooner or later n_n
--I may think of more! n_n

This is where I would prefer most RP happen, and this is also where I will be recording the RP done over aim, and in PMs. Why? Cuz I'm a**l that Damion's journal be kept for his entries. n_n I'm just weird like that.

Thank you, Ogre-sama, for allowing me this space. n_n

Damion.
The local dou of the estate. He's cranky, angry, rude, vulgar, pessimistic, violent, brooding, grumpy, and sexy to boot.

New Info about Damion:
Damion is a horrible, terrible tease. He won't randomly sleep with a person, that's too intimate. HOWEVER, he will kiss, lick, nuzzle, and attempt to turn someone he likes on to the point of where they can't take it. Why? Because he's an a*****e.

Thank you Sy for the picture! heart

Chieko Meng Ue.
The 'owner' of the estate, Chi is a happy, upbeat girl of a young 25 years of age. She loves to meet people, and will often bring random folks home, if they'll let her.

*Damion was lounging in a hammock, just out of the sun. He had picked these two particular trees, because they were MASSIVE, and yet still allowed soft flickers of green light to filter through. His ribs were still bandaged, and they probably would be for a while, but at least he could softly breath without mind blowing pain ripping through his chest.*

The grounds are overgrown except for the plants and grass neartest to the house, and the trees are tall, and despite not being very close together, shade the large mansion from the sun. Only the top floors are uncovered, and those show the most wear, paint peeling from the elements. Despite it's run down appearnce, the house is still impressive, and in it's youth, must have been very beautiful.
VashtysEscape (9:53:17 PM): Hex wrinkled his nose, having gotten separated from Sobek in the teeming mass of humanity that was Elysium. Fricking humans...he thought, giving a particularly pushy laborer a vicious glare.

So caught up in his mental beration of humanity was he, that the voodoo doushikai didn't even notice when he initially passed from the bustling inner city into the far more quiet outskirts, until he'd wandered even past the limits of the less populated outer reaches of the city itself. Much...better. was his first thought, as he noticed that he was actually alone. Curious, he meandered easily through the sparse forests, unaware that he was, in fact, trespassing on private property. His footfalls were not unnecessarily loud, although he made no effort to walk quietly, opting instead to focus his attention on the sounds of the forest.

Spotting a particularly rare plant that could be used for all sort's of incantations, the pale doushikai grinned, pulling out a small pouch that had been dangling at his hip, and, plucking the small plant carefully, wrapping it in a soft cloth before sliding it carefully into the leather pouch and pulling the drawstring taut.

*Haveing been watching that particular plant from a high tree branch, a young, pink haired girl was surprised to find a rather interesting looking creature wander up, pluck the plant, and place it promptly in his pouch. She tilted her head to the side, before she smiled* "Um, excuse me, is that plant special?" *She called down, trying to be friendly*

Stepping back and glaring up the tree, Hex wondered who had disturbed his solitude. Great...human. The thought was accompanied by a slight curling of his lip--after the fiasco in Imperial, and the human response to it, what little respect he'd had for the race (and it wasn't much; they were boring, for the most part), had turned to disgust. "It's used in certain salves and...other things." he said cryptically, using one hand to shade his crimson gaze.

"Oh! How interesting!" *She shifted her butt around on the branch, eyeing the ground a bit, before she jumped, landing in a crouch, waving her arms a bit to keep her balance* "Would you like some tea? Or, maybe you'd like to see another interesting growth?" *She smiled at him, winking one pink eye shut in the sun. She had noticed the curl of lip, though she made no show of it*

Hex blinked. He couldn't help it--something about this....person had thrown him off balance. Didn't she know what he was? Hell, he didn't even LIKE tea, and yet he was considering taking her up on the invitation--she hadn't bored him...yet. and he had plenty of pins on him, if it came to that.

*She smiled a bit more, tilting her head to the side* "I have all sorts of tea, and if you dont' like tea, other drinks! And maybe you can find more plants on my property." *She turned, and started to walk. She was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and flipflops, and she picked up a ragged old leather backpack as she passed it. She seemed relaxed, comfortable with him, even though she didn't know him*

Narrowing his eyes, Hex followed the young woman, every sense he possessed at attention--she was too friendly, and it was suspicious. He tilted his head forward slightly, causing a black-and-crimson lock to cover one eye, keeping a short distance between himself and the human woman.

"I'm Chieko, by the way. Chieko Meng Ue." *She smiled over her shoulder, still walking. She motioned over to the occupied hammock a little ways away as they moved out of the sparse forest* "That bump on a log is Damion. If you prefer his kind of company, you're welcome to go visit, but I warn you, he's a grouch. He IS fun to torment, however. he's all, 'rarr, grr! Bleh, life sucks, go get killed, woman!' and stuff." n_n

Hex's eyes widened slightly, although he quickly hid the telltale sign of surprise behind a mask of impassivity. Why on earth would a woman of their kind be living with one of us...? He wondered, although he'd never really held much respect for his own race, either. "...Hex." he said simply, letting her interpret his terse introduction as she would--already, he was wishing he was back to his potions, or stealing Sobek's rum, if all else failed to entertain. Casually, he strolled over to the prone dou, peering down at him curiously with one eyebrow raised.
*Chieko left the two Dou to interact as they would, hopeing it wouldn't turn into something she'd have to break up, or, you know, yell at a lot, since she was pretty sure she'd be no match for anyone.*"If you want a drink, just yell." ^^

*Damion was laying on his back, one arm drapped over his eyes, his tail hanging from the side of the hammock. His chest rose and fell evenly, showing he was asleep, if only lightly. He was distracted, however, or he would have heard the approach*

Hex played with a pin idly, debating all the points on the canine's body that would bring the most pain. It was a tempting thought, but not one he was willing to indulge...yet. Besides, doing something like that to a sleeping body wasn't good sportsmanship, until they'd pissed one off. Instead, he nudged the hammock with an elbow.

*Damion's arm lowered quickly, before he winced, the sudden motion bringing him pain. He looked up at Hex, frowning, ears laying back. The relaxed look to his body was gone, and now he looked tense and alarmed* ".....Who are you...?" *His voice was soft, due to the fact that talking loudly hurt more*

"Your worst nightmare, if your expression is any indication." Hex said blandly, settling on a nearby stump, although he was still wary of how easily the woman had left him alone with an apparently helpless dou, when she had hardly even known his name. "I was wandering around, and happened to come across...Chieko?" he put a questioning sort've inflection to the name, as if he hadn't been paying all that much attention to her name..which he hadn't. He'd been too worried about being ambushed, since he wasn't particularly skilled at hand-to-hand combat, although he didn't particularly fear pain.

"....You are no where near my worst nightmare...." *The feral dou eyeballed Hex, ears still laid back. His eyes were studying him, nose was studying him, ears were studying him. "....Chieko is the owner of this place, and annoyingly chipper and happy woman.... all too trusting, and too inquisitive..." *He was too tired to remain as tense as he was, and his body started to relax a little, as there had been no initial attack.* "....Be careful, if you are injured, she'll steal you away to mend you and coo over you and gush friendly crap at you..."

Hex snorted. "She would be welcome to try, but, as it happens, that isn't an issue." he retorted, tilting his head slightly to the side as he returend the feral dou's measuring gaze. "So what happened to you?" he asked, utterly blunt, as always.

*Damion tried to shift to get back to a comfortable state, but his ribs were complaining, loudly* "....A tree attacked me..." *His eyes looked back into Hex's, watching his reaction. This was the second Dou to find him in such a state, and it was starting to aggrivate him* "....Your name?"

Hiding his mirth, other than a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth, Hex inclined his head politely. "Happen often?" he couldn't help asking, before deigning to reply to the other dou's question. "...Hex." he said, not feeling particularly communicative.

"Damion. And I suspect if it happened often, I'd be dead." *He grunted at Hex, having no such mirth himself. His tail flicked, and his ears laid back just a little bit more* "....Wouldn't you be more happy with the female?"

Hex's eyes narrowed. "Not particularly--I have a feeling she would be a lot less...entertaining." he replied, wishing he had a voodoo doll handy for this one--a few pins might do him some good, Hex couldn't help but think with relish.
*Damion stared at Hex for a while, yellow eyes not revealing anything he's thinking.* ".......And what makes you think that. Because I'm laying here, weak?" *His eyes narrowed slightly. He hated others thinking he was weaker then they were. Simply hated it.*

At the belligerent tone in the other's voice, Hex broke into a full-fledged grin. It wasn't a particularly nice grin, but it was a grin nonetheless. "It has nothing to do with your laying there, and everything to do with your attitude." he said, quite reasonably, he felt.

*Damion rolled his eyes* "So if I was sweet and sugary, you'd leave me alone?" *He looked back over at the other Dou, his tail flicking. He almost looked like he was plotting*

Hex grinned wider, showing what appeared to be all've his teeth. "Now it is too late--I've seen your true nature. But yes, if you had been...well, boring to pester, I might have been tempted to leave you in peace." he said, looking positively gleeful.

*His ears laid back, and that sent him into a down right sulk. He crossed his arms over his chest, and looked away* "....I'm sure there's something to eat, or someone else to bother, somewhere around here." *His toes even twitched, and he looked highly annoyed* "Isn't your guardian around?"

Hex burst into full-out laughter. "You're almost too easy." he replied, crossing his legs and making himself comfortable. "And...guardian?" he snorted. "I can take care of myself, thank you very much." he said, his voice dripping with barely-veiled disdain.

"BAH!" *He huffed, his tail flicking* "This one over there practically kidnapped me. If I wasn't injured, I'd be gone... .....and the fact she BBQs every night." *His nose twitched* "...And makes Cornbeef sandwiches..." *He then snickered at Hex* "....Bet you get to eat ham in a can. ...Delicious AND nutrious. HA!"

Hex's lips twisted up into a grin. "Actually, it's mostly home-cooked meals, for me." he said blandly, not mentioning that, with all his work with herbs and such, he was a pretty damn good cook, if he did say so himself. Most've it was over an open fire, but still...

"Ah well... " *He was still chuckling, not believing Hex* "So why're you here again...?" *He turned his head back to Hex, watching him. He was still inwardly chuckling to himself about the ham in a can. He had it once, and it had almost made him choke so hard, his eyeballs would have popped out* ".....And what do you do?"

Hex's gaze took on a faraway sort've quality, as if he were thinking back on a pleasant memory. "I'm a practicioner of voodoo, and I sell various potions, rare incantation ingredients, and sometimes, books." he said, his gaze sharpening again. "I throw a mean curse."

*Damion watched him, the far away look* "That makes you happy...?" *He hadn't seen that kind of happy look for a long, long time, and despite it being a different Dou, it was nice to see. He relaxed at that look, and didn't tense up quite as much as he was before* "No kidding. Got anythign to turn pink hair green?"

The voodoo dou snorted with surprised laughter. "I'm sure I could whip something up." he said, eyes flashing with mirth. "Probably something with a moss base..."

*Damion laughed, then winced, the laughter cut very short* "....Ahaha... Oh man... but somethign tells me she'd just go with it... Damn w-woman..." *He tried to relax again, breathing evenly*

Hex wrinkled his brow, and in a rare, probably fleeting, act of compassion, fished a small pot of salve from in his pouch. "Try smearing this on your ribs twice a day, it'll help it to heal faster." he said, tossing the pot onto Damion's lap. Something about the cranky feral dou struck a chord of familiarity inside of the sometimes-crazy Hex.

*He omfed softly, and went to pick up the jar. He eyed it a little, before looking at Hex. Should he trust the obviously enccentric Voodoo Dou? He wasn't sure. hte other man obviously enjoyed tormenting others*

Hex simply smirked in response--whether the other dou used the salve or not wasn't his problem.

"......Would this be another trick for you to torment me more?" *He looked back over at the other Dou, eatching him. It wasn't in his nature ot be so trusting, but if it healed him faster...*

Hex quirked an eyebrow. "I already told you what it's for. Take it or leave it." he retorted, tapping one sandaled foot, as if impatient.

*Damion glared at him a bit* "...." *He let out a long breath, looking back at the jar, before opening it up to sniff it* "...I don't think I'd even be able to put it on."

Hex winked. "You could always ask that woman you call your guardian to do it for you?" he offered, utterly evil.

*Damion made a face* "She's already making excuses to put her hands on me... Imagine if she did that to YOU. How would you feel?"

The other dou narrowed his eyes. "I would have my pins ready long before she laid her hands on me--no one touches me without my express permission...unless I instigate it." he purred.

"Heh... Then you know how I feel." *He growled a little* ".....agh... .I don't want her putting this one me...."

Waggling his eyebrows, Hex almost giggled. "Well, since I do noknow when, if ever, I will pass this way again, so it is not like I can help you with that."

"Bah! Why the hell not?" *Damion frowned at Hex, looking disgruntled, his tail flicking and waving at Hex*

The voodoo dou seemed to think on this for a minute or so, as if pondering how best to phrase his thoughts. "Well, I really do not care for the city itself, and I have to pass through it to get here. I do not live close to the town--Sobek and I settled some way down the shoreline, where it is a lot...quieter." he said, oddly talkative. "And, I have recently discovered that I quite like...sailing." he went on, grinning mischieviously. "Which means that, if I have my way, I shall be doing my best to schedule in a voyage or two, which would not leave me with much time to stop by, even if it was something that I saw as being worth my time." he finished, daring the other dou to argue with his reasoning.

"So be it." *He put up no arguement at all, since the Voodoo Dou had plenty of excuses for not coming back. It didn't really matter, it just meant one less being to annoy him and for him to deal with. He had tensed a little though, and his ears had given him away. He was dissapointed. Maybe he was enjoying the company he currently had* "Don't sink on your voyages."

Nodding his head, Hex behaved as though he took the other's words purely at face value. "Well, that does not tend to be a high priority on one's to-do list, when one goes sailing." he retorted. "And, if you can stay out from under trees, you could always find your way to our home--I assume your nose is more than just decorative?"

"Yes, it is for more then just decoration." *He snorted* "....Though at times, when I'm in large crowds.... urrrrgh..." *He shuddered at the memories of things he had smelled* "When I am better healed, I might try and find you. God knows you haven't been a complete and utter waste of time and air."

At that, Hex did bare his teeth, in a feral grin. "So pleased I could be of assistance." he replied, his tone rather dry.

*Damion laughed softly, pleased to have gotten a response out of Hex. He was smiling, a rare sight. Maybe finally having some company was easing him up a bit*

Hex hmmphed. Ooooh, but he was tempted to see just how much pain the other could take. All he'd need to do was use one've his many pins...But, Damion had continued to amused him, and he was turning out to have a considerably quicker mind than Hex had initially thought. ((>3)) "So you can use those teeth in an expression other than a snarl" he grinned.

*The Feral Dou rubbed his stomach idly, still chuckling* "...Occassionaly, should the situation arise. You know, you are the second Dou to find me here. I'm begining to wonder if my Glen was too far away." *He yawned, showing even more teeth. White, glinty, sharp teeth.*

the other dou quirked an eyebrow. "...glen?" he queried.

"That was where I was living, before a tree there attempted to kill me, and a certain pink hair'd girl found me. ....It was a very, very quiet place." *His fingers kept rubbing his tummy gently*

"Sounds quite pleasant." Hex replied, eyeing Damion's wandering fingertips consideringly. ...Hmm.

".....It was..... at the begining...." *He looked distant now, his eyes showing deep, forever scarring pain, coupled with loneliness. His fingers still moved over his tight abs, over each defined muscle, dip and curve*

The voodoo dou narrowed his eyes, noting with no small amount of curiosity the emotions that were writ across the other's face, before his crimson gaze, as if drawn by a magnet, continued to follow the path of Damion's fingers. Idly, he wondered whether the feral dou was the sort who'd find pleasure in some pain, although his blank expression hid his musings from all and sundry.

*Damion let out a long, deep sigh, before the look was washed away, the thought that was inwardly tormenting him was pushed away. He looked back at Hex, noting where his eyes where, though he made no change in his motions. Long claws on his fingers kept scratching his own tummy, before he flexed his abs, ignoreing the protest of his ribs. It was like he had a built in cheese grater in his stomach, his abs were so hard and defined*

Hex's eyes gleamed, and, albeit reluctantly, the voodoo dou tore his gaze away from the tempting fingers, meeting Damion's gaze. "So, whereabouts was your glen?" he queried. "And why, if you remained there until getting injured, do you sound as though you are pleased to be elsewhere, now?" he continued, his insatiable curiosity (among other things) piqued.

"......Have you ever been in a place that you knew was wrong for you, and yet, you had been there for so long, you felt you couldn't leave....?" *He tilted his head to the side, yellow eyes heavy lidded, lips parted as he breathed evenly. It seemed his rubbing his own tummy was acting like a relaxant. He was smiling again, though, almost slyly, before he bounced a peck. His tail twitched at the pain THAT particular motion, and he made a mental note not to repeat it unless he absolutely had to*

Hex shifted, certain portions of...himself causing him a fair bit of discomfort. There were some urges that the voodoo dou was NOT used to controlling. "...Somewhat." the dou replied, somewhat pensive. He wasn't sure he did, at least, not to the extent that Damion's statement replied. "But then, habit is always difficult to break away from." he said, grinning slightly--ironically, that statement applied quite well to his current...discomfort.

".....Yeah well... there's your answer...." *He chuckled softly "...You seem tense. Are you alright?" *He tilted his head to the side, looking oblivious to Hex's particular kind of discomfort.

Ooooh, but this one was evil. Hex narrowed his eyes slightly, as if trying to measure whether the other was mocking him with his indifference, or whether Damion really WAS oblivious to his predicament. Well, only one way to find out. "Yes...but of course." he virtually purred, running one pale hand up along his torso, as if he were going to scratch an itch.

"Well, that's good. I'd hate to chase you away, now that you're interesting." *His eyes flickered ever so briefly to the wandering fingers, his ears perking at the purr. Damn his animal instints! He was no good at controling his body.

Ohohoho! Success....score. Tracing lazy circles across his collarbone, Hex smiled, as innocently as he was able. "Hmmm...? Oh, I'm in no hurry to get going--I am sure Sobek is entertaining himself suitably in town." he drawled.

*Damion smiled as he watched the slow circles, not bothering to hide his interest anymore. He knew he wasn't doing a very good job of it anyway, and his pants were becoming far too tight to be comfortable. Damnable leather. He watched for a moment longer, before he very slowly sat up, then got up out of the hammock, standing over Hex. His hands moved very slowly, and cupped the sides of Hex's head, making sure to move in slow, deliberate motions as to not startle his enccentric, but interesting new friend, before he leaned over, and laid a very soft, gentle kiss on Hex's forehead* ".....This was a good meeting, Hex. It would be nice if you found your way to this place again. You would be very welcome." *Ah, if only Damion was that kind of Dou, that kind of being to casually enjoy another body. But he wasn't, and he wasn't about to continue to tease Hex with such thoughts*

Not one to be spooked, had the other decided to play the game a little more, Hex nonetheless recognized a polite turn-down, when he saw one. Batting at Damion's hands in irritation, Hex got to his feet also, taking a step back. "I'm not a child, to be patronized." he said icily, his eyes blazing, although not with outright fury, more extreme annoyance--it wasn't that he expected light teasing to end in a satisfactory encouter every time, but rather that he found he disliked the presumptuousness of the other's last action, and it was enough to have him throwing up his walls. It was unlikely that this dou would wander this way again any time soon.
Bowing sketchily, he turned to leave. "Pleasure, I am sure." his tone was cold, unapproachable, and even. "Enjoy the rest of your afternoon." he said politely.

*haveing his hands batted away annoyde him, a lot. He wasn't one to toss around softness in such an easy manner, and to have it so heavily rejected... He said nothing though, the realization coming ot him, that he had given it too quickly to this Dou. He turned towards his little cottage, and headed for it, on all fours, his tail flicking. He had a huge need to get his pants off, and the Goodbyes had been said.*

Saeth meets the Wild.

*Chieko, a pretty young girl with bright pink hair, was in the fish market, 'fishing' per say. She had been told by the rather loud and grouchy feral dou that he was tired of beef, and needed a change, so, here she was, looking over a huge cod, debating whether it was big enough to stuff, or if she should make fillets out of it. She shrugged, and bought it, as well as some smaller fish to dry later on, and started to head for home*

Saeth had been perfectly content running around the market, scouting out the food he wanted. He had been really indecisive as he was out. He wasn't sure what to do today since Kaen was busy. Saeth was such a loafer kitty. He spotted the girl in the pink hair as she was leaving, and could only see the absolutely huge fish wrapped up in her hands. Saeth couldn't help himself, his cat instincts taking over. He started to follow her, tail swaying a bit behind him. Oh he was bound to cause some trouble. "Ohh that smells.. well.. bad right now, but when it is cooked, it will be really good." He said, just behind her.

*Chieko stopped at the voice, then blinked behind her, before smiling* "Oh, hello! Well, yes, Cod usually smells bad... I was going to roast it. Are you hungry?" *She tilted her head to the side, inwardly cooing to herself about the pretty blue kitty. She wasn't about to say that outloud though, she had bad experiences about saying the wrong thing to Dous*

Saeth paused, ears perking up. "I'm starving. I can't cook very well... and raw fish is.. gross." Saeth made a face. He was wearing some of Kaen's clothes, and it was impossible to hide the fact he was blue, so he didn't bother to hide his ears or tail from humans. Saeth was all smiles when on the conversation of food.

*Chieko giggled* "You don't like sushi? That's too bad. It's one of my favorite things. You want to come for dinner?" *Oh yes, she had found someone else to come home with her. Was she a weirdo, or just really really friendly and trusting? It was hard to tell. She wasn't taking note of the furry blue kittiness, or at least she wasn't showing it to be polite. She walked at a semi fast pace, considering she was holding a giant raw fish in her arms* "I'm Chieko, by the way!"

"Dinner?!" Saeth was always trusting. He immediately hugged her just before she took off walking. "Ah! Yes, yes, I'd love to!" Saeth was all smiles. "My name is Saeth." He made sure to look around quickly, Saeth was horrible with directions and if he didn't constantly keep track of where he was -- getting back to this spot with anything less than STEEL breadcrumbs would be impossible for him.

*Chieko eeked at the hug, then laughed* "Awesome! I always love to have company." *She blinked at him, watching him look around* "After dinner, I'll have Damion bring you back. How does that sound?" *She smiled, happily, and kept walking, sandles flopping on the ground*

Saeth's ears perked up. "Okay!" He quickly agreed, but then paused and looked at her, still following. "Who's Damion?" Chieko was an impressively fast walker, Saeth noticed. Even carrying the giant cod fish.

"Damion is a young man staying with me." *She smiled back at him, and hugged the fish a bit tighter, since it was quiet heavy, and picking up speed a bit. She hafl debated getting a bike, but, what fun would that be? "So, do you live around here?" ^^

Saeth actually had to jog a little to catch up. "I live in an apartment with Kaen. It's near the market." He reached up and brushed a bit of his light blue bangs away from his face, an ear twitching when his hand hit it. "You live far." Saeth's tail swooshed behind him as he looked around the area. "Very far."

*She laughed, her head tilting back* "Oh, I live outside of town. You'll see!" *She had found a good, fast pace, and she was maintaining it easily, despite the fish in her arms, and the bag that hung off her shoulders and to the side* "Who's Kaen?" ^^

Saeth immediately started to play with his hair, his face flushed like he was embarrassed. "My.. friend." He nodded a bit. "He's special to me." He kept walking to keep up with Chieko. "Thank you for inviting me to eat." Saeth said, immediately perking up so cutely.

*She giggled at the telltale motions of romance, finding it absolutely adorable* "it's not a problem! Like I said, I enjoy the company. I don't often get it." *By now, they had reached the outskirts of town, and she turned down a gravel road, that soon turned to dirt, and then to slightly shorter grass then the overgrown blades along the side of it. The trees had gotten taller, and everything just seemed.... older*

Saeth looked at the area as if it had a thousand new smells to him. Ogre had created him in a lab, and he had lived in the city now since leaving -- but he had never been in the midst of an old forest. There was something a tiny bit creepy about such an old forest too, though. "Is that your... " Saeth started to say, pointing to the looming figure of a building up ahead. It was still early enough in the dady that bits of mist and fog hugged the ground and light was almost unable to peek through the tall trees.

"Welcome to my home, the Meng Ue residence!" *She smiled, and walked for the house, before inhaling deeply "DAAAAAAAMION!!! I BROUGHT YOUR FISH!!!" *She hollared, at the top of her lungs as she stepped up onto the front porch, and opened the creaky door* "Please pardon the state of the house... it wasn't well taken care of before I showed up..."

Saeth visibly jumped when she shouted, shocked that such a booming voice could come from her small frame. He followed her up the steps and inside the house. It didn't look bad. Saeth was an easily curious and facinated boy. He instantly took to looking around and staring at interesting things. "Your house is.. huge." He said, a bit exasperated. It seemed to dwarf Kaen's apartment.

*Chieko didn't notice when Saeth jumped, and she headed into the kitchen* "Thank you! To think, someone just up and left this house. ...For a long time, it seems. Do you want some tea? Juice? Pop?" *She smiled at him*

*The feral dou, having heard the yell, came into the front door, looking annoyed and cranky, and sore. His tail flicked, and he was crouched down, hands down on the ground to support himself*

Saeth turned around, hearing the noise and just stared, wide eyed at the other. ".. J-Juice is fine." He said, blinking a bit and leaning closer to the other doushikai. He hadn't seen that many in his lifetime, and this one looked.. hurt? "Are you okay?" Saeth leaned uncomfortably close, staring at Damion with his golden eyes.

*Damion eyed the cat with angry, yellow eyes, fur bristling* "......I'm peachy." *He growled a little, his tail flicking as he went to walk past Saeth, for the kitchen* "If you ever yell like that again, woman, I'll decapitate you." *He stalked over to the fridge, and pulled out one of the smaller fish that Chieko had bought, as well as a glass of chilled green tea*

*Chieko nervously laughed* "....Ahahaha.... Grape juice okay, Saeth? And this is Damion."

Saeth looked..just a little alarmed. His tail fur had even poofed up a little and his eyes were wide when he followed Damion into the kitchen and saw Chieko. ".. That's.. fine." He said, trying not to stare at Damion, but staring anyway, except he quickly looked away for fear of getting an angry outburst whenever Damion might have seen him looking. Saeth's tail flickered. His initial impression of Damion being grumpy -- might have just been right.

*Chieko slide a glass of grape juice onto the table in the kitchen, before she started to prepare the fish*

*Damion sipped his tea, and stood up straight, being a very tall Dou. He watched Saeth, one ear perking towards him* "......So. Another stray brought home by Chieko? Are you staying, or only a temporary kidnappee?" *He bit into the fish, raw, and chewed slowly*

"I'm not a stray.." Saeth protested, huffing a bit. "She invited me to a meal." He smiled a bit at that. He really loved food. Saeth made a bit of a face, he'd never had sushi, but the idea of the fish raw.. with the head, when he liked to actually watch them swim around - well, it seemed kind of ... sickening. He didn't make a big scene out of it, though. "I'm temporary, then?" Saeth added, a bit intemidated by Damion's height, since Saeth was .. a bit on the short side.

*Damion arched an eyebrow at Saeth, before putting the fish down on the counter, and sipping more of his tea. He went to sit in a chair, and he grunted at the pain "....Seems so. Aren't you lucky." *He snorted, his tail hanging to the side of the chair. He was really tired, rather, comsidering he had spent the last day wandering all over town looking for Hex* "....And you are?"

Saeth looked at Damion. He looked exhausted, so he was trying extra hard to be nice. "My name is Saeth." He pulled out a chair and sat down in it, taking sips of the grape juice.

*Damion grunted, then snorted* ".....Do you eat much?" *He picked his fish back up, taking another bit out of it, at least haveing the curtasy to chew with his mouth closed. He had his shirt off, simply because with the bandages, it just wasn't comfortable*

Saeth looked down at his hands, not understanding Damion's comment other than the fact Saeth was staring. "Of course I eat...." He said, although he was a little small. The blue haired doushikai looked around for Chieko to see what she was doing. Damion was.. interesting. "So.. uh.. what.. do you .. I mean.. what happened to you?" Saeth pointed to Damion's midsection. "You weren't attacked, were you?"

"....By a tree." *He sincerly hoped Sae didn't eat much. He was a wolf, after all, and he ate a lot of food. But he at least had SOME manners, and wouldn't deny a guest food. Or rather, he didn't want it to come to him having to deny Saeth food, because in reality, he would. "......" *He snorted softly*

Saeth blinked. "..oh." He said, touching his side unconciously as he thought about wounds. "That had to hurt.." Saeth said, quieting a little. His ears flopped some and it was a tell-tale sign that he was thinking about something unpleasent.

"What happened to you?" *Damion asked, just before taking a large bite out of the fish he was eating. He knew that look, it was so farmilar, he had seen it in reflections so many times. He glanced at Chieko, who was just putting the huge fish she had prepared into the oven*

Saeth unbuttoned his shirt again, just enough for all the bandages across his own midsection to be revealed. "Just.. an.... incident that I can't quite seem to figure out." He suddenly smiled then. It didn't really bother him. He was dreadfully curious about it, though.

*Damion leaned in closer, sniffing softly, eyeing the wound* "...You don't know what happened?" *He arched an eyebrow, a hand moving to open Saeth's shirt open more* "...That's strange."

Saeth had bandages covering his entire midsection. Damion could probably smell the slightest hint of blood. The wound was abnormal and it never really wanted to close. "I only know that it was an attack." That's all he'd ever heard about it. "It.. it doesn't usually bother me." He said, looking at Damion's midsection. "That's why.. I asked.. " The blue catboy started to say, looking at Damion's wounds.

".....That wound isn't natural. You need to get it looked at." *He frowned, darkly, ears laying back. The fact that the feline didn't know what had caused it made it even more abnormal. He even looked worried, still holding the shirt open*

Saeth sighed, looking a little down at having the obvious pointed out for him. Suddenly, though -- the room was filling with a delicious scent. The smell of fish was filling the room and it was herb encrusted with the faintest bit of lemon. Saeth looked a little bit embarrassed, realizing his shirt was half off as Chieko started to turn around and he quickly pulled it from Damion's grasp and buttoned it. "It's fine." He said, reassuringly, although he didn't look quite sure himself. "It smells good!"

*Damion snorted, and finished off his raw fish, tossing the bones and head into the garbage with a flick of his wrist. He got up, and headed out of the room, tail flicking with annoyance*

*Chieko blinked, and sweat dropped*

Saeth bit his lip, his ears drooping. "I think I owe Damion an apology." He said, frowning some. It had been really nice that he was so concerned about the wounds, but Saeth hadn't gotten any answers before, so it seemed silly to try again. "The fish smells good." He repeated, sitting up a bit more like an expectant child waiting for a treat.

*Chieko smiled at him* "....Damion... don't worry about him. You did nothing wrong." *She put a plate full of fish in front of Saeth, the smell waffering up to the feline. She looked pleased that he looked so happy, wanting the fish* "Do you want more Juice...?"

"Oh yes please!" Saeth said with a slight purr. "I'll tell Damion food is ready! I think I made a friend!" Saeth looked so very pleased with the idea of that. He had so few friends. Saeth slid off the chair and went in the same direction the wolf doushikai went. ".... Damion?" He asked gently.

Damion was out roaming the Meng Ue lands; exploring. The forest was thick and dark despite how bright the night was from the moon's glow. Light did manage to filter through the leaves, but he managed to keep mostly hidden. He was traveling on all fours; more comfortable that way.

He had been trying to put distance between himself and the others for a day straight now and the lack of sleep was taking more of a toll upon his slender form. Crimsom eyes held none of their usual shine, senses addled more than usual. He cursed himself inwardly... This was not the way a great archer should act. What good was he to anyone now? None... None at all... Which is why he pressed on.

Damion kept exploring; enjoying the scents of the woods. He wasn't paying particular attention to his surroundings until something new caught his attention. His eyes saw nothing. His ears heard nothing... But his nose caught it. It was the scent of another being. He instantly started to stalk towards the scent, keeping low as he used the bushes to hide his form.

Whereas usually he may have picked up on the shift in the air around him as the predator began to stalk his prey, he remained blissfully oblivious... Only minus the bliss. His bow, for once, was burried beneath his pack upon his back; a foolish decision on his behalf. Again, it was as if he were little more than a dead man walking with the fire burned out within.

Damion kept up the silent stalking. He was good at what he did. The new smell wasn't an animal, he could tell that, so, he wasn't in complete and utter 'eat it' mode. Instead he was curious, and feeling playful.

He stopped for a mere moment to gaze up at the sky, trying to judge the time. It was worthless though... Just like so many other things. Finally feeling the dryness of his throat he reached for a flask he had filled at the last stream he had passed, raising it to parched lips before splashing a bit upon his face in hopes of awakening himself.

Damion came upon the redheaded Dou, reaching his hand out, veeeeerry slowly, before smacking the a** of the man in front of him only to dart off to the side to hide in the bushes.

The strike against his backside was enough to draw him from his stupor as a howl passed over his plush lips. Eyes blazed as his inner fire rekindled, spirit filling in the void left by more days without sleep. He dropped his pack and took his bow to hand, crimson orbs darting back and forth from bush to bush as he sought the source of the pain.

Damion was already on the move, silently slipping through the bushes to get to another angle. Oh my, what a lovely sound the other had made, but fiery arrows? That was trouble.

"Listen here, whatever you are... I am in no mood to be bullied by an unknown entity. Show yourself... Or I'll light this forest ablaze until it burns you out." He would do no such thing, of course. Burning a forest down would require dryness and a lack of feeling that he could not find within himself.

Damion snickered, and moved out of the bushes, moving to stand at his full height. He was -tall-, and his ears were perked "....I really doubt you could do that. I'm sure Chieko wouldn't want her only home gone, and possibly her life."

He kept the arrow trained upon the...Wolf? ... He'd seen stranger sights... If he was shaken by the size of the creature he didn't let it show, keeping his mask of whatever emotion it was that he was currently feeling solidly in place. "I know neither you nor this... Chieko... That you speak of. But, as you have now shown yourself, I need not take the actions I said I would."

Damion shrugged, not bothered by the arrow. "....I'm Damion. This is Chieko Meng Ue's land. You're trespassing, for one. For another, you're so distracted, it's not a good state to be in while out hunting."

"The forest belongs to no one." He huffed in an almost pout-like way as he lowered his bow slightly. He was in no mood to be read his rights about being on someone else's property. He was in no mood for many things... Least of all being told what sort of state he was in by a... Creature. "I was not hunting."

The Feral Dou watched the red head, tilting his head to the side "....Even if your bow wasn't out, you were hunting. Just not for a creature." Another cranky person. What was this place? the crank zone? He was certainly getting tired of it, but, right now, not even that awas going to wreck his mood.

He sighed softly as the 'mask' faded from the slightly feminine features of his face. He was in no mood to keep up a facade while in the company of someone who seemed to determined to prove him wrong... Not now. "What makes you think that the prey was trying to become a predator?"

"How you walked, the distint look in your eyes. All telltale signs that you were here, but you weren't." He stretched, and scratched his side, running his tongue over his teeth. Mymy, he felt talkitive tonight, and it felt.... alight.

Slender fingers moved slowly across his brow before he brought his eyes back up to the furry one. "That obvious, eh?" He shook his head slowly as he slipped his bow back onto his back. If the wolf was going to attack him then he'd do so bow or not. "Of course, sleep isn't something that one hunts for... It either graces one with its presence... Or it doesn't."

"Sleep isn't what you're looking for, is it?" He turned, and started to walk, motioning for the redhead to follow. "I'm Damion." He offered his name, his tail swishing back and forth slowly. He walked slowly now, the quicker movement having annoyed his ribs.

"Sleep... Is the cruel mistress that I am trying to escape..." He said slowly as he stooped to retrieve his satchel before following the wolf without knowing exactly why he was doing so. "Aneliad." He offered his name in return, letting the word drop from the tip of his tongue.

"I understand that." He kept walking, past the sudden line of trees that framed the yard of the estate. He was walking for a small cottage that looked like it could be a closet for the house the towered over the grounds like a sleepy guardian.

"At least someone does..." He seemed to mutter more to himself than to the other male, reaching a hand up to run through the bangs that had fallen across his face. He was in sore need of a shower... "The last I stopped to sleep ended... Poorly."

"You stink too." He walked into the cottage, and pointed to a room* "....Go ahead. In fact, please." He moved into the kitchen, to start to make himself a cup of tea.

"Do not..." He grumbled. As a matter of fact, he probably still smelled like that odd combination of rose and spearmint that had been used in the ointment that... He shook his head to dash that thought from his mind as he stepped into the room that the wolf had pointed him to.

A bathroom, with an old, old fashioned bathtub, the kind with the lion's feet rests in the middle of a stone floor room, with a sink off to the side. it smells oddly like mint, and feels cozy, with huge towel folded in a pile on a counter. On the other side of the door, Damion snorted to himself. He wasn't a big fan of roses.

He eyed the bathroom almost suspiciously as he shut the door behind him. When crimson orbs found his face in the mirror he cringed. Did he truly look that badly? A slender hand slowly moved up to caress his face before drifting back to free his hair from the braid that he had worked it into after leaving his 'camp'. He was a mess...

After eyeing himself for moments longer he began the process of stripping down as he let the tub fill. He even made certain to wash most of the dirt off in the sink before slipping into the steamy waters. "Do you always take strange men into your home?"

"I'm taking after Chieko, I suppose. And lately, I've been finding a lot of strays on the grounds." He sat down heavily on the pillow pile, sipping his green tea. Mmmm, green tea. The only tea he liked. "'Sides, I haven't met a hunter in along time."

"I suppose I should thank you... Despite the fact that you've called me a stray." He found himself chuckling even if he truly didn't feel like laughter. The waters surrounded him, seeping into the soreness left from hours walking about and a night spent sleeping on the forest floor. "And I told you... I'm not a hunter."

".......You seemed like one." He relaxed back into the pillows, closeing his eyes. His own body ached, deep bruises still easily seen under his shallow fur. Oh man, he hated trees at the moment. "I call everyone a stray."

"Even those who... Belong to someone?" He tried not to feel revolted by those words spoken from his tongue. That whole notion made him absolutely ill. Especially now.

Carefully he reached for the bottle of shampoo before lathering it through his hair, taking care to scrub each lock until it shined. His hair was one of the features that he took pride in... One of them.

".....How could a person be owned." It sounded stupid to Damion. but he knew what it meant, but he hadn't mindeed it. Only did he resent it when it ended.

"No man should be owned... It only leads to trouble." He murmured the last part softly so that it couldn't be heard before slipping beneath the surface of the water to rinse the suds from his hair. He remained submerged for as long as he could before bursting forth with a gasping breath.

Damion remained quiet, waiting for Ane to come back out. To be honest, he half debated going to sleep, and saying screw it to talking with the young man in his bath, but, eh, he wasn't that tired anyway.

Finally he emerged from the tub in order to towel off, braiding his hair after wrapping the towel along his lower half. Stuffing his clothing back into his pack he decided that he'd dress later... If he was actually permitted to stay on for a certain amount of time. The door opened and he peeked out. "Not going to give in to the Mistress of Dream, are you?"

"If you had taken much longer, I would have." He eyed Ane, since that was a funny, funny way to talk. What a weirdo. "So... what do you do, then?"

He crossed his arms over his bare chest, muscles glistening with moisture on a body bronzed by time spent in the sun. "I suppose you could call me a mercenary..."

It struck Damion suddenly, that he wanted to lick that moister off. ... and then it struck him that the thought he had just recieved had come out of left field. "....Ah, gotcha..." He looked over at Ane, tail flicking "...Tea?"

He nodded his head slowly. "That would be nice... I've not had tea in..." He tried to think of the last time he'd stayed in a place long enough to start a fire to brew tea over. When nothing came to mind he shook his head. "A long time. It would be wonderful."

"Help yourself." He motioned to the kitchen, and shifted over to make room on the pillow pile he was on, the only furniture in the room.

He had a selective taste in his teas, finding only two to his liking; jasmine and green. He found the green before the jasmine and settled on that, adding a single spoon of sugar to it before sipping slowly. "Mmm... Thank you, Damion, was it?"

"....Yeah." The wolf flicked his tail, before yawning, widely, showing white, shiney, pointy teeth.

His strides brought him back to the pile of pillows where the wolf was lounging, legs folding so that he could sit down beside the creature. He shifted the towel to cover himself as best as possible before eyeing the male. "You're the second I've met in this new area... I cannot say I was expecting such hospitality."

"Oh yeah? Normally, I wouldn't have cared you were all over the grounds. But today, I'm in a good mood." He smirked at Ane, before sipping his tea more, ears drooped as he relaxed."

"Aye... The first man I met nearly kicked me from his shop due to my choice in attire..." He snorted at the thought as he looked down into his cup, feeling a strange sort of saddness slip over his thoughts. "If you slap stange men's bottoms when you're in a good mood... I'd hate to see what you do while in a bad."

".......I avoid people and am generally in a bad mood." He snorted, and snickered. "....Sounds like you're describing Sebastian." He laughed a little bit.

His face paled visibly the moment that name passed over the feral one's lips... Or rather, it would have paled were he not busy sputtering on the sip of tea that had now lodged itself in one of his lungs.

"....You okay there?" He casually sipped more tea, watching Ane try to drown himself in green tea.

He held the coup away from him as he continued to choke, finding his air only after swallowing hard. "Fine... Or... I will be." He coughed once more, brow furrowing deeply as he did so. "You... Know Sebastian?"

Damion nodded slowly, still relaxing "He gives me painkillers for my ribs despite his crankiness. He tried to kick you out, eh?"

"Aye... But he failed to suceed." He tried to steel his resolve, raising the tea cup to his lips once more. This sip made it down the right pipe which allowed him to continue speaking. "I left of my own will after making a purchase..."

"He's got more bark then bite, it seems." He chuckled softly, his tail flicking agian. He remembered his first encounter with Sebastian. He had been rather nice to Damion, giving him painkillers, then verbally picking him apart...

"You have no idea..." He muttered before tossing back the rest of his tea as if it were an alcohol that would somehow render him thoughtless as far as everything concerning the alchemist was concerned.

".....Hah... don't let him scare you." He snickered, watchign Ane, before shaking his head.

Pride took over at this point, brow furrowing deeply as he turned upon the wolf. "I am not frightened by a man who flutters about in furry robes! Not in the least!"

Damion blinked at him, before laughing. ".....It was a figure of speech." He chortled a bit, remembering the furry robes.

"Can we not talk about him anymore?" He grumbled as he set his tea cup in his lap before flopping back against the pillows in order to stare up at the ceiling. The only thing that could somehow make this worse would be if this Damion somehow knew Pengryf as well.

Damion leaned over the other dou, looking down at him. "Fine. But you have to find something equally interesting to talk about, then."

"What makes Sebastian so interesting to talk about?" He huffed, unable to keep that slight pout from pulling at his lips. He could name many things that made the alchemist interesting but he would rather not linger on any of them. Instead, he glanced up at the wolf watching over him. "I've told you what I do... What do you do?"

"I'm a wolf, what do you expect." He smirked down at the redhead, also remembering the things that made Sebby interesting in his eyes. Of course, being an annoying little p***k was one of them. "So, kicking you out of his store pissed you off that much?"

He shook his head as he matched smirk for smirk. "You chase sheep and harass shepherds?" He then closed his eyes for a moment, features of his face drawing into serious lines. "No... I'd just rather not speak of him. Surely there are things you'd rather not speak of."

"I haven't seen any shepards hot enough to harass." He grinned, wolfishly, and quite pevertedly. ".....Hm. I would distract you, but, I don't know you."

He opened his eyes in time to catch the grin. "Aye... And sleeping with strange men never does the world any sort of good... Take it from a strange man who knows." His nod was done as if he knew very well, even if part of his certainty was simply a jest.

"Who said anything about sleeping together." He snorted, grinning more. "....I didn't realize you were that kind of dirty."

"Well... It is a sort of distraction." He smirked as he reached a slender hand up to caress the wolf's cheek should the creature actually let him do so. "I am not dirty... You made me bathe, remember?"

Damion let him, not pulling back. He had started to enjoy the closeness of other Dou, and his tail even wagged a little. "I dunno... You still smell pretty flowery...."

"... And you smell something akin to leather and fur. What's your point?" He laughed despite the feelings warring within, attempting to silence them as he enjoyed a moment of freedom. "I must say... I've never met a wolf-man before... Or are you more man than wolf?"

"....I've never thought about it before." He had to admit, this was new. Meeting someone and NOT getting into a fight with them? ...This could never last. "Isn't leather and fur sexy, though?"

"On some it is..." He smirked, closing his eyes only to have the image of another sort of fur float through his mind. Crimson orbs flared open, gazing up at the wolf once more. "Maybe you should think of things like that more often."

"Why? What's the point?" He watched Ane, his tail flicking back and forth slowly. "Your towel is slipping."

"Because thought distracts the mind from the body." He nodded slowly as his eyes drifted down towards the towel that the wolf was commenting upon. "Simply because the way you're leaning is tugging at the edge... If you move I could straighten it out."

Damion snickered, and leaned heavier on the towel's edge, watching Ane intently. "Why would I want to distract myself from the body?"

There was some sort of logic tugging at the corner of his mind that he should have been paying attention to. Of course, being quite deprived of a certain amount of sleep, he ignored it and simply smiled slyly. "That, my dear doggie, is a very good question... Perhaps one might wish to distract oneself to keep the body out of... Trouble?"

Damion's ears laid back INSTANTLY at being called Doggie, and he went to sit up. "....Eh. Trouble." *He snorted angrily.

"Bah..." He wrapped his arms around the other male, holding him firmly in place. "I was teasing... Forgive a fool who has deprived himself of sleep, amongst other things?"

He grunted, but was held in place. "....That's one thing you can't ever call me, alright?"

He nodded as his arms tightened slightly around the wolf's middle. "Fair enough... I shall never call you that again now that I know 'tis not to your liking."

"....." Damion relaxed at what Ane said, and the fact he couldn't fight back easily, due to the extreme pain in his ribs at physical contact. It made him happy, though, that someone actually didn't fight about calling him a dog. ".....Thanks."

"It's the least I can do..." He said softly as he let his eyes fall shut for a moment, taking in the peace as well as the softness of the pillows beneath him and the furry one atop him. "... Afterall, you've given me a bath... And tea."

"....You're really tired." Damion noted how relaxed the other man was, and slowly slide his arms around Ane, rubbing his back, massaging a little.

"Sleep is highly overrated..." He found himself almost cooing as he arched into the touches, a slight groan passing over his lips to mingle with the last of his words. "And weren't you the one yawning, soft one?"

"You're the one complaining about lack of sleep." He continued to massage, smirking to himself, leaning his face down to inhale Ane's scent.

"Bah... I don't complain." He snorted softly as he shifted his arms, fingers tracing slow circles along the wolf's back. His scent was a strange one... Various herbal aromas seemed to cling to him even after he cleansed himself. This one was something akin to sandalwood mixed with the mint of the bathroom towels.

Damion shuddered from the touches on his back, only because it was running over his bruises. "....Hah... sure you don't. You should sleep, you know..." He growled lowly, tail swishing back and forth as he continued to massage, firmly.

"Mmm... Am I in more danger if I stay awake? Or if I fall asleep?" It was unclear as to whether he was questioning the creature atop him or himself. Either way, his fingers ceased their movement on Damion's back in order to trail tenderly down to his tail. "Is all of your fur this soft?"

Damion's eyes widened, and his hand darted back to bat away Ane's roaming hands. "....You're getting a little close to my a**, Merc." He chuckled softly, smirking. "Are you always this friendly?"

"Wasn't interested in your arse..." He snorted softly, smirk splaying over his lips. "Just wanted to touch your tail... As for friendly?" He opened his eyes, greeting the wolf with glittering rubies. "Do you always lay atop strangers?"

"Strangers on my pillow pile, sometimes. And my tail is very, very off limits till I get to know you better." He laughed softly, yellow eyes looking wolfish, and hungry.

"You look as if you are about to devour me... What dangers have I let myself fall prey to?" He chuckled softly as his hands fell still upon the wolf's fur, voice carrying with it a strange contentment in his question.

".....Hnnnnn.... you make it very hard to behave myself when you talk like that." His tail flicked, hard, and he licked his lips, seriously debating exploreing Ane's mouth with his tongue. He wasn't sure he should, and he hadn't thought of further then that.

"Then... Maybe I should cease speaking..." He said with another 'all knowing' nod, shifting himself slightly beneath the other male in order to place his head higher on the pile of pillows.

Damion hrmphed, and shifted them both, pulling Ane up on the pillows more, stroking the other male's side. ".....You should be sleeping. You're delirously hitting on a wolf." He smirked, watching the red orbs of the fiery haired man.

"If I am delirious... What, pray tell, is your excuse?" He chuckled softly as he let his eyes fall closed once more, trailing fingers idly alongside the wolf's cheek again as well.

"You keep touching my fur." He continued his pets and caresses, trying to ease the other man into a state of restful slumber. A slow, even, deep and soft growl started to rumble through his chest repeatedly, to be even more relaxing.

"Simply because it's so soft..." He nodded slowly as he stroked it once more before his hand fell still at his side. His breathing had slowed as well; a sure sign that he had given in to the sleep that he had been fighting for the past two days.

Damion kept the caressing and petting up for a few more moments, before he very carefully eased back, and went to find a blanket to cover his guest.
