I don't mean to sound desperate or too hopeful, but since everyone in the manga is focused on finding Itachi now, wouldn't there be a bigger chance for Itachi and Sakura to encounter again?
I was kind of hoping that in the big fight that's bound to come, Itachi would kidnap her or something... just for the fan's sake. (Even though he doesn't give a flying... for her at the moment.)
I dunno, it's just a thought.

YAY! New topics! Maybe my board actually worked!
Ahem. Anyway.
- Chances for Itachi and Sakura to encounter.
Well, yes, but only because the manga storyline seems to be going towards that. Otherwise, I would say there is absolutely no hope, unless he comes to look for Naruto again.
I can't really find the right words to add on to this anymore... And this probably made no sense on top of that.
- How Itachi would react to seeing her again.
Well, realistically, he would probably only aknowledge her presense at first, addressing her formally, like he does to Kakashi and Naruto. When Sakura goes in to attack him, he will probably recognise her abilities, and note that she is fairly strong, and an enemy to watch out for, then take her down easily.
But in my little fanfic persuaded mind, Itachi will somehow learn of her skills as a medic, and since she was once the apprentice of Tsunade, he will aknowledge her abilities in that way, and kidnap her to force her into fixing his eyes. They spend so much time together, some kind of bond forms.
Such a cliche story, but I like it. :3
- Hell, is there even a chance of them meeting (again)?
Probably, yes, like I stated above. Itachi will most likely appear when they're on one of their travels, or he shows up to look for Naruto again.
Or maybe he'll appear during a fight that involves the -remainder of- the Akatsuki in some way, and Sakura will be stuck fighting him. Thinking he may have some kind of connection to Orochimaru, Sakura starts yelling at him to tell her about Orochimaru's whereabouts. When that doesn't work, Itachi then, seeing her weakness and soft spot for his "Foolish Little Brother", he taunts her about memories he had about Sasuke, causing her to break down or possibly become even more mad.
Just a random sample of how my mond works in so many ways... xD

I agree with you, there. And the chances of Itachi kidnapping Sakura for personal purposes is just as high as him barely acknowledging her....
Hmm... it makes me very curious.

Hmm... I have a feeling that a LOT of things are going to happen in this possible final battle. I just hope that there's room for Sakura to get kidnapped. ^___^
Hey, remember back when Sakura first laid eyes on Itachi? When the team was headed toward the Akatsuki layer to retrieve Gaara? She sure held a lot of hatred towards him... for a guy she's never met in person before. But I guess it's understandable since he was the one who tortured her first love. So basically this was just a useless rant...
sweatdrop Help me out, I'm running out fo things to say and I'm trying not to get off topic.

It was golden week in japan so they had no new chapter or anime episode... so sad... crying
But I don't know what Itachi would do if he saw her again... I am not even sure if Itachi knows that much about Sakura...
Anywho... just a thought of mine.... we all know that Itachi is going blind ((hence all the ItaSaku fics dealing with it.)) But my question is would the story line flow in the direction that these fics go if Itachi was desperate and found out about Sakura's potential....
Now I can't see Sakura falling in love with him.... unless there is more to the murder of the Uchiha clan than what we really know...
Somehow everything dosent seem to fit for me... like there is some important information that is being left out...
And don't say that Itachi had to kill the clan, we saw him do it... yada yada.... Truth is Kishi NEVER showed Itachi actually killing the clan. Never did you even see him lay a finger on them.... what we DID see is what Itachi CHOSE to show Sasuke through the Tsukuyomi.
Now the question is, if Itachi lied about that and if so would he tell Sakura if he kidnapped her... and then could she fall in love with him.

You bring up an extremely good point! Nobody ever saw Itachi actually kill the clan... and he can make up virtually anything with the Mangekyo Sharingan... So there is a small chance that he wasn't the true murderer of the clan, because realistically, nobody can slay off their entire bloodline and remain sane.
But the question is, hypothetically, if Itachi wasn't the one that murdered his clan, then how did it happen, and how does that tie into the plotline?
And the fact the Itachi is going blind makes me slightly happy, since that raises the need of a medic nin.
And God knows that Tsunade won't heal him.

As much as I would LOVE to see something happen between Itachi and Sakura, nothing will happen. T.T Probably in their next ecounter (if there is one) Itachi will just remain indifferent since Sakura is of no interest to him.
And if Naruto meets Itachi again, Sakura will also since now whereever Naruto goes Sakura goes. But again, Itachi is just interested in kyuubi. Though now that Naruto can't really do much Sakura will have to protect him. Hm...so maybe Itachi and Sakura could confront each other. But the possibilities are low. Though it'll be interesting if it happend. 3nodding

That scenario kept going through my mind today. Itachi and Sakura fighting.
Kishi better make it happen. Or at least make them encounter again. -tacklelunge-

Lol.
Well, you know, Naruto is very strong, but one little slip up, then "Mangekyo Sharingan!" and next thing we all know, Naruto's gone. So I'm thinking that at some point, Sakura is going to have to help fight against Itachi. We just don't know how, yet.
But yeah, Sakura better go with Naruto to defeat Itachi!

Ok so we all know what happened when Oro approached Itachi and tried to take over his body.... Oro got his butt kicked... well as I can see Oro was wearing the Akatsuki cloak ((yes that is important.)) so we can conclude that he was still in Akatsuki at that time.
Now flashing ahead to this weeks manga chapter ((353)). In a spoiler that HAS been confirmed Kisame states that it has been 10 years since Oro left the Akatsuki... now tell me if something is not wrong here....
We all know that Itachi was 14 when he killed his clan and now he is around 20.... well for the scene to take place with him and Oro he had to be 10 at the time.... or around that age... so that means he had to have been invovled with the akatsuki that earlier... I am just way to confused.... I am starting to think it was a translation typo but from what I can read it isnt.....
but yeah that is my little piece..... had to get that out....
Also We will be seeing Naruto and Sakura going up against Itachi soon... since Sauske's little group is heading out to get Itachi and Naruto and the gang are after him as well becuase they know Sasuke will be going after him...
So it is very possible for us to saee some Sakura and Itachi fighting.

...I'm stuck in a way to reply to that, Akiru-san.
For lack of something better to say, you're most likely correct.
Or something else that flashed through my mind when you brought that up; Orochimaru could have went his seperate way temporarily, only to return to further aid their cause being stronger than he is now.
Of course, that theory doesn't make much sense, but neither does my mind. So I guess that makes it even. xD

Yet on a happier note we get to see Sakura hit Itachi on the head with a 2X4... LOL... made me laugh... finally they get to meet though.

Yeah, the wood scene was pretty funny. Best humor I've seen since Shippuden Episode 1.
Actually, the only decent humor, but still.
And it was also the only TimeJump Episode I enjoyed since than.
