I don't know why everyone hates her so much? what has she done wrong? all she is is a woman who is very confused over men. and i think shes pretty courageous, i mean how many other women in the 18th century would have gone off chasing pirates? but thats just my view and i do respect yours but i just cant see why you call her a skank and such xx

well, I've always slightly liked Elizabeth's character, just because she takes matters into her own hands....somewhat, lol. but yeah, she really is a skank....and she can't have Jack, he's mine. heart

Elizabeth loves Will. That's a fact. However, in the era that the story is set in, women have basically no freedom. So basically every woman longs for freedom. Being a pirate is, if nothing else, freedom and Jack represents said freedom.
So shutup or get some bloody sense, honestly. It isn't like she jumped in the bed with him. She started to like him, then kissed him as a distraction to chain him to the Black Pearl to save everyone else. And do not go ranting about that, the man deserved it no matter how hot you think he is. neutral

I ******** HATE JACK SPARROW. So if you're going to group all of us "fangirls" into one generalization, then YOU are the idiot, not us.
Personally, I hate where the series is going, and I'm thinking about abandoning it entirely. It depends on where the next movie goes.
I'm trying to not get into a fight here. And I'm tired of repeating myself for idiots who don't know how to read past threads. But if you want a rational reason as to why I hate her, go look into other threads, hell, on other guilds.
So maybe you should shut the hell up, and get some sense yourself.

Anyone can have a rational reason for hating a character, but to just say she's a skank because she kissed Sparrow really is no excuse. Hell, I'm not sure I like her, but I tolerate her as one of the few female characters the trilogy has to offer besides Tia Dalma. It's the rabid fangirls that make me sick, not fangirls as a whole.

If they didn't put Jack Saprrow in the movie then the movie it self would have died. stare I hate Elizabeth Swann but that dosn't mean I would abandon it because she still in the movie.

Well, that was a mistake, obviously, but I figured others were smart enough to realize that I wasn't talking about everyone but only a certain group of people. That I lacked a pointing finger of specificity seemed to lead you to assume I meant you too. Whether or not everyone else had the same reaction as you remains to be seen since you are the only one who bothered to reply. I would think if it ticked off others, they would start offing me verbally as you seem to. On the other hand, the arguement is getting us offtopic.
