Baku couldn't take it anymore. The mortals were working on his last nerve and haven was the only place he could turn to to get some peace and quiet. It was a nice change and Baku wasn't about to put down the luxuries of haven. Nope, it was certainly nice to get away from the mortals and their annoying ways of living.
Sprawled out so that even his wings had room to stretch out, Baku laid on his stomach with his bat-like appendages fanned out on either side of him. With his head cushioned on his paws and tail gently beating against the ground, Baku was quite a happy camper.

With large wings outstretched, the rust maned Goddess glided on the wind. Her head ached in aggitation at those little creatures that held her in such high regard. Being on top was always her quest but one of those pests always had to challenge her authority and ruin it all. She cursed whichever god who told her that mortals were fun. Moprtals were never fun. Easy to break and easy to manipulate but never fun.
The jewels strewn on her body struck eachother with a soft and rather pleasant sound. She sighed heavily through her nose, warming the golden ring in her nose and shaking the chains that ran from the ring to her ears. Years of being with mortals meant years of trinkets and treasures at her pleasure. Yes, it got boring but they came through if they didn't wish to anger her.
A smirk touched her muzzle as she fondled the rather large diamon under her chin. The chain curling around a digit.
"At least I got something out of it all." Through and through, Hollander was happy with her new haul.

The sound of gems and jewlery hitting each other caused Baku to open an eye in curiosity. The God was none surprised to find another immortal not far off but was a bit put-back by all the jewlery that adorned her body. Surely all of that stuff was not necessary and quite annoying. Even at times the little gold Baku wore got on his nerves.
Opening his other eye and raising his head Baku watched the Goddess for a few moments more as she gazed lovingly at the gems that decorated her. "Surely all of that...stuff isn't needed?" Baku questioned with a sarcastic air to his voice.
Stretching his wings one last time causing the golden chains on them to ring softly, Baku folded the appendages against his back and sat up. His growing silvery-white mane annoyingly got in his face. With a toss of his head, the hair whipped back and out of the way. "To all their own I guess..." He muttered as he stretched one last time.

Hollander looked down upon the other God, blinking at his brash comment. She'd never seen this male before let alone know him. The gems at the tips of her spiralled horns chimed against the rings in her ears as she lowered her head towads him. Mane spilling over her eyes, the adult Goddess widened her smirk.
"I assure you that these trinkets won't be like this for long." She dived towards him only to swoop over the God and land a fair distance away. "They each have a place they belong. I just have yet to take them there."
The grey-red fur along her back bristled as she shook out her own mane, making sure it rested in it's proper place. When her mane was succesfully out of her eyes, they dragged over the God in a blank and orderly fashion, getting aquainted with his pelt. Her gaze soon drifted to the gold braces on his wings almost admiring the handiwork from such a distance.
"I suppose everyone is entitled to their own but even having this much on me is rather...tiring." She feigned exhaustion as she stretched out her wings to emphasize her point. "I am only on my way to transporting them back to my lair. Even I find all this a bit much"

Baku didn't even flinch when the Goddess dove towards him only to soar above his head and land a fair distance away. No, Baku was quite sure that the Goddess had no intentions of ever hitting him, so why bother wasting energy in ducking? Turning his head to look over his should at the Goddess her raised an eyebrow at her words. "A hoarder of jewels then. How...lovely." Hoarding? That was not something Baku could ever think of as useful, more like a complete waste of time. He could tell already that this Goddess before him had some very odd ways.
"Is there any sense in hiding away gems and gold? Surely all of that gold will do you no good. The most it can be is eye candy to a Goddess." Baku spoke lazily as he turned himself around, purposefully adjusting his wings so that the golden clasps and chains ring softly. It amused the God how this Goddess's attention went straight for the few trinkets he himself wore. Why not tease her a bit with them?
(OOC: Could you send me the concept design for Hollander so I have a fair idea of what she looks like? XD)

A quick shake and a jingle rustled on the wind. She wasn't used to making some much darn noise. Pathetic really. "Hoarder? I think not. They are more of a kind of...trophy rather than scenery." She chuckled softly, bringing her paw to her muzzle to give it a swift lick.
Her travels and conquests brought these things on. "Mortals are so easy to manipulate through worship. They brought me such things to..gain my fortune. Too bad they didn't head their own warnings of greed and power." Her paw fell in the dust as she grabbed a thick cluster of earth.
"Those sad pathetic creatures never saw what was coming to them. How sad." She crushed it in her paw with a grin. Death was an inevitable consequence for weaklings. Why couldn't she help it along a bit? Feeling rather satisfied with herself, the Goddess turned her attentions to the other.
She starred at the other, watching the gold on his ings intently. "I see you have some sort of taste for treasure by those wonderful little trinkets clasped on your wings."
((I'll ship one over to ya x3))

Baku eyed the lioness and shook his head. Hoarder... that was exactly what she was no matter how much the lioness denied it, but Baku wasn't about to get into an argument about it. Just let her believe what she wanted.
Mortal talk? Well this was certainly an interesting conversation. "Finally, someone who agrees with me on the worth of mortals. They hardly have reason to wander the earth let alone have any contact with us immortals. The only thing they're really good for is a good laugh." A flick of his tail was used to emphasis laugh as he thought back to the mortals he had his fun times with. Oh yes, nothing more than play toys in his mind.
At the change of subject, Baku tilted his head slightly and opened one of his wings so that the Goddess would have a better view of his 'trinkets' as she called them. "A few things catch my eye but I go no further than what you see adorning me now. Too much gold makes it hard to sneak up on unsuspecting victims but just enough makes them remember you."

A soft chuckled left her at his words. "So true. Mortals couldn't even begin to grasp how lucky they are to be living. If I were in charge of creation those pesky little things would finally be at my mercy." The Goddess rolled her shoulders in calming. Mortals were such wonderful playthings. Useless for everything else but wonderful never the less. Holly had been with them so long that anything that distracted her from them was welcome.
When the God offered his wing to her, she stepped forward only concentrating on the shiny object. It was his possesion and for the first time in awhile she had absolutely no desire to have it for her own. She only wished to study it with her own eyes.
"I can tell you that we are highly unforgettable even without these trinkets but they certainly help some."

Baku nodded. "They're not worth the air they breath, but at least -most- of them realize when they see a superior."
After the Goddess got a good look at his cuffs and chains he snapped his bat-like wing to his side with a loud FWAP! The God yawned with boredom and stretched the front half of his body out. As much as he was enjoying the company of another immortal the conversation had begun to bore him and there was truly nothing else he felt the need to discuss. What the God longed for now was a good long nap away from prying eyes and annoying mortals.
"I am sorry to cut our meeting short, but I am rather tired and longing to rest for awhile and I am sure you'd like to deposit your newly aquired wealth whever you store such things."
