Some Rules that need to be followed::
As you know, you must follow the ToS when posting anywhere on Gaia. This includes:
-no obscene nudity
-no extreme violence
-no sexual content
-no stealing works
and, the most important one to me,
NO FLAMING!
there is a difference between a flame and constructive criticism. If you are offering suggestions on a piece, such as:
I get lost at the begining, what is the main character supposed to be doing? Also, Im=I'm. It needs some gramatical editing, but overall, the story has potential.
as opposed to:
Wow, this sucks so bad. I can't believe you even posted that. You suck, loser, hahah!
if that's the only thing you can come up with to say about something, don't say it. Just move on to another piece to look at.
IMPORTANT: if you do not want criticism, please put that in the title of your thread. Otherwise, assume people will comment on it (negative and positive) also, if there are legitimate questions about your piece, answer them! Your public would like to know more info about you/the piece!!! smile
Now, to something really important:
What to Put in the Written Area!!
Your Pieces(duh!)- please lable if you want to criticism.
Writting contests- I'll allow them, but if I hear of a scamming so help me...
Written work people should see- if you know of a piece that you think everyone in the world should see, put it here. Just please, PLEASE give the real writter credit for it. Links to websites with good work are also acceptable. Remember, copyright laws apply on Gaia!! Do not Steal!
Questions about Writting- We'll see if we can answer some, I'm not much of a writter myself (and my spelling/grammar is atrocious) but we'll see what we can do!
