Water from the air formed a circle and out of it Sorain limped out. He walked up to one of the attendance and rented out one of the apartments for the weekend only. Once he was given the key he walked in and straight for a room in the back of the apartment and shut the door.

Mahia came running into the residence area looking for Sorain and found no trace of him. She was beginning to get really worried about him right now.

Sorain looked through Raze's eyes to spy on her. He kind of felt bad for walking out without telling her where he was going but he was still up set. He took out the majic water and tossed some of it on the floor outside the door and summoned her. After he herd the thud of her landing on the floor outside he closed his door again and layed down to rest his wounds.

Mahia stood up and sighed and nocked on the door that she was right outside of. "Sorain are you in there? If so please listen I'm sorry about what happend. I really am. I didn't know that he would show up. I didn't mean what I said to him. I was just trying to calm him down so he wouldn't hurt you anymore." She said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

Sorain waved his hand cousing the door to slowly open. He layed on the bed and focased on the ceeling.

Mahia walked into the room closing the door gently behind her. "Sorain please forgive me. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I didn't want you to get hurt. I'm so sorry." She said meaning every word that she said. Tears came to her eyes threatening to fall but she tried to hold them in.

Sorain stood up and with out speaking Sorain stood up and stood close to her,"I am fine. Just alittle hurt. My wounds will heal. His will not." He spoke with depression as he took a deep breath," I will not be........ I will not be a burden" He said as he made a refrence to what he said the first day he moved in with her,"Do what makes you happy. And I will be happy. Do what makes you feel less guilty and I will be unhappy." He hugged Mahia as he did years ago and then layed down on the bed again looking at the ceeling. His eyes were cold and white back to the way they were when he was younger. The small sign of brown was nomore as he thought of how foolish he was knowing that that strange man and her had a long histoy of emotion together. He felt bad and thought that he should never have interfeird and made his feelings known. Tears begain to form from his eyes as he closed them tight to keep them from falling. He took a deep breath,"I dont think I will be comming back to the Darkness village. I am more needed in the Mist. And I would only be a distaction and be guilt generating."

Mahia walked over to the bed and sat down right beside him and gently placed a hand on his cheek. "Sorain I want to be with you and no one else. I don't even remember anything about my childhood love. So I don't know if it was real or not but I do know that what I feel for you right now is real. I don't want to lose you at all. I want to be by your side as long as I can. I understand if you don't want to be around me anymore. But I will still care about you." She said quietly a single tear squeezed it's way out of her left eye and ran down her cheek.

Sorain sat up on the bed as his heart pounded. He knew that the only way he could defeat that strange man was if he used power that he was afriad to use and even then he was not sure that he could defeat him. Sorain looked into Mahia's eyes and smiled slightly,"How did I know you were going to say that sensi" He raped his arm around her and kissed her gently his bones still ached slightly but he ignored the pain."I want to live with you.But I still dont think I am ready to return to the Darkness village. Especially after what happined with Yushizune. If what he said was true then its not safe for me their. Plus the Mist is my home."

Mahia smiled at him and reached into her bag and took out a headband that was wrapped up so you couldn't see what village it was from. "Sorain I don't think it's safe in the Darkness village anymore so that's why I left it. Anyways I needed to go to the Mist village for some personal business." She said with a slight smile and slowly unwrapped the headband to reveal a Mist headband. "I haven't been home in 4 years and I think my parents are missing me."She said quietly.

Sorain pulled out his darkness head band,"No Mahia. If I leave the darkness village I not going back. I trust shadow but if he did give a false curse seal their no telling what other things are going on. And Yushizune will come after me no matter how long I stay away" He picked up a kuni and scratched a line across the symbole."I am a Mist ninja now and forever" he smiled as he thought about what he said. It was funny because they were both wearing leaf handbands.

Mahia smiled at him. "I would abandon the village also but I can't. I'm the second in command and also the ANBU leader I can't just leave and never go back. I'll send Shadow a letter tomorrow and inform him that I'm leaving the village, and wait for his reply and then I can abandon the village and return to the Mist with you." She said and then kissed him on the cheek gently.

Sorain smiled and assured her that she did not have to leave her village,"You do not have to leave due to me. Think about it. IM from the Mist you from Darkness. In times of trouble having a strong ally in each village will help us" THey sat and talked for along time utill the sun had went down,"How about this. I will come to the Darkness somedays and you come to Mist somedays. That way we will keep up an ailliance and trust between them both. He looked at his headband then thought to himself.Thank god I have another one of these. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!!
