Ith's poetic thought

hey everyone,
first off i'd like to say hello and thank you for letting me in the guild. i've been writing on and off for about three or four years now. and i was hoping for some feedback on how to improve my writing style and to help me recover from my writers block that i've had for the past several months. below is one of my newest poems and probably one of my favorites. hope you enjoy it.



Being


The sun drips its final desire
As each day it bursts upon the sky in flames
The wandering soul
Lost
For all of eternity
Living without being
An empty shell of what it once was
Reflecting
What has always been
Loosing sight of what will be
Slowly corroding
Day by day
Until the remnants
Falling slowly into dharma
Leaves only dust
To be blown on the winds
And to find life anew

Crash


Soundless ignition
The lonely bullet strays
As existence trickles into the void
Chaos reigns supreme,
Those days of old have long passed
The days where life was free
Where beauty was abundant
And subsistence glided on carelessly.
Gone are they
When life came from an embrace
Slowly it has fallen
Shattered
Scattered in the pandemonium
Only to find remnants of what was
And merely a meager hope
Of crawling out of the ashes
