I used to play polo... this past year (since it just ended) was my last, I have come to enjoy swimming much much more due to it, since I hate being mean... yes, I do know how to play dirty... I was taught with the best of them... I really like d- hole, but I'm too small to play it... so I'm normally off in the wings..

My coach had something against me I think... I played a total of 10 minutes the entire season. I was a starter my first two years and then 10 minutes of a season. Quite a shock...

i used to.. and i LOVED it... i had so much fun... but i couldn't handle 5 hours of practices/ weight training a day to do both (i'm at a university... both teams practice most of the year) i was the sprinter..even though i was a freshman in HS playing with jr and sr's ... i was just faster than them xp although i did get two fouls once... i was vicious... redface

this season I might have to give up my main position of defensive hole and be a goalie. 'cause our goalie graduated last year, and there's no one else on the team who has the leg strength to be goalie. bleh. goalie is sooo boring. *shrugs*

goalie is the hardest position too play in my opinion, i played every position in the game, it requires the most leg strength, good reflexes, a good arm, and its really stressing

we don't have a team, but the last practice of every year, we play with our 'rivals' (during football and basketball, and some other sports we are rivals, but swimming isn't so bad... we swim with each other during the winter and summer) it's fun, i just don't think i'd be able to do it cuz i can't tread water for very long

I like that position a lot, you're defending your right to control the ball... as a goalie.... you're defending... the goal... :-l bleh.

I play water polo for the school, but never in competition. Its fun, but its so hard to tread water, try to make a goal, keep the ball from the other team, and not drown all at once! biggrin
