Character Name: "Fridgeir"... his true name is sacred to him, and as a fey creature, he would only reveal it to someone he really trusts.
Race: River Spirit Folk
Powers: Detect Traps, Evasion, Breathe Water, Speak with Aquatic Being, General Stealth and Athletics, a Cursed Ring of Invisibility.
Age: 27
Job (if any): Thief-Acrobat
Bio: Born in the land of Rokugan, he was a blessing to his human parents. In Rokugan, beings called the Spirit Folk are sometimes born to human parents. Fridgeir was one of them. He grew up right and handsome... but short. It was his height, actually, that got him teased, despite his status as a Spirit Folk... this caused him to turn very bitter against his oppressors, and (in usual child fashion), ran away from home... He became a street urchin, stealing to survive...
...Until he got caught.
He was thrown in a jail cell like any other criminal in his homeland, and spent two years there. A kindly old priest came and paid his bail, and brought Fridgeir to the church... the church of Olidamarra, God of Thieves. It was under their guidance that Fridgeir gained skill in the thieving arts... sure, he didn't rise to greatness in the church, but still was very good. Wanting to prove himself to his peers and those that he felt truely raised him, he set off to another city... to bring a big haul to the men and women of the church of Olidamarra... and to make sure that racial injustices, like those when he was younger, no longer happen. His ring is useful and not. The ring is cursed to "never work when the wearer's life depends on it"... as such, he doesn't put too much faith in the ring.
