In the religion of Islam, women are required to cover everything on their bodies but their hands, feet, and face.
This is to be modest.
This may be all fine and dandy, but once I thought about it for a long while, I realized that the amount of clothes that a person wears has nothing to do with the amount of sex they have or are willing to have. Saying that the clothes you wear have anything to do with your sex life means that you are saying that a person's body is nothing but a sex object. Bodies are so much more than sex objects.
So, in essence, it doesn't matter what you wear. Your clothes do not determine whether or not you are a slut or a whore. And anyway, who is anybody to decide that somebody else is a slut?
Thoughts?

The idea with Islam is that the women's figures won't tempt men. But I do see what you are saying.

i see what you are saying, and that isn't the only reason those clothes are worn, but a point you certainly have. do girls who cover up fully have less sex and those who wear less have more? i know girls who war very little but are virgins they are just comfortable with their bodies

I'm comfortable-ish with my body, but I did get accused by my stepfather today or walking around half naked on the coldest day so far this year. I'll have you know I was fully clothed, I just like low-cut tops because my boobs are my best feature.
My boyfriend despises mini-skirts and won't let me wear them... not that I want to, but if I tried he would probaby burn it. He has a very good reason for it though, a serious one, and I'll leave it there.
