Sometimes there is a dearth of worthwhile programming, it seems to me. sad *surfs through the channels and settles for "Mythbusters" on the Discovery Channel* These fellows can be entertaining as they test various urban legends, though they seem most fond of finishing their experiments with as large an explosion as may be created.

There are a great many old World War Two type movies showing this weekend, and the History Channel has a marathon of "Band of Brothers" running. All of this is of course interesting viewing to a soldier ted such as I. Today I watched "The Battle of Britain", and I have also seen some of "Patton". Tonight History Channel will have a program about Star Wars. We are all most interested in Science Fiction here, so we will definately be watching at 9pm! smile

I don't actually watch everything. I can't abide soap operas. But I do watch a smattering of the other choices. The channels I most frequent are the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Sci-Fi, BBC America, and TCM (classic movies). biggrin

Alas! We do not have BBC America on our cable tier, and Eirwyn is not willing to pay even more to get a package that contains it. crying
