As I illustrated in my join request, I was wanting to create a new race called the Taurens. Any of you who play World of Warcraft know exactly what I'm referring to. With this new race, I'd also like to include whatever bonuses, possible, along with their War Stomp attack, if possible.
Along with this, I'd like to introduce a Shaman class, although I'd perfer if it would be a little bit closer to the type of Shamans seen in Shaman King, rather than the shamans in World of Warcraft.
When I start cooking things up, what would you people suggest would be 'fair' bonuses and such? I obviously don't want to set things too high, because that would mean things likely getting denied. But on that same token, don't want to make 'em too weak, because then it defeats the purpose of having the bonuses.
So, any help?

Well, for what it's worth, there's already game rule info for playing as a minotaur (which I've done) and there is a shaman class.
Also, I think there's a WoW d20. They're playing something along those lines in another guild I'm in. If you want, I might be able to track down all the info you need there.

They didn't complete information posted on shamans, but here's what I got for taurens:
+2 Strength -2 Agility Natural Weapon (Horns): 1D8 Weapon Familiarity: Tauren Halbierds and Totems (treat as Martial) Weapon Familiarity: Longspears and Shortspears (start with Familiarity) +2 Handle Animal and Survival (considered Class Skills) Racial Levels (Tauren maytake levels in Tauren) Favored Class: Warrior (does not count for multiclass XP loss)
Tauren racial class: 1st Level: +1 Str, Tauren Charge 2nd Level: +2 Spt, +4 Racial bonus vs fear, bonus weapon proficiency 3rd Level: +1 Str, Improved Tauren Charge, bonus weapon proficiency
Considering this is D&D not WoW, you should probably switch out Favored Class to Fighter.

And Minotaur as characters:
+8 STR, +4 CON, -4 INT (minimum 3), -2 CHA Large size, 10ft by 10 ft square with 10 ft reach, base land speed of 30, darkvision to 60 ft, start with 6 levels of monstrous humaniod, proficient with the greataxe and all simple weapons, +5 natural armor, 1d8 gore attack, powerful charge ability, natural cunning ability, scent ability.
EL +2
So a Minotaur wth no character levels would be equivalent of an eighth level character.

Cool stuff. Thanks for gathering it.
Which would you guys suggest I try using for the games setup in here? Minotaur or Tauren? I'm partial towards the Tauren, seeing as how I run one in WoW. But I'll gladly switch to a Minotaur if it's needed to run the game smoother.

Depends on the DM, and the campaign. Usually, in D&D, you'd be playing a minotaur, or neither would be allowed at all. However, the DM is always free to make exceptions, especially in settings like Dragonlance, where minotaurs are an accepted race instead of a wandering monster.
For an ECL 1 minotaur, normally I'd suggest Savage Species, but they've been inexplicably passed over.
