I was curious if any of you have used self-help as a way to treat your illness (for lask of a better word). I have been reading alot of books that say it can be very effective and I seem to be getting some improvement out of them. One of them deals with cognative therapy and the other with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Input anyone?

Not really, unless you consider spirituality "self-help!" *g* However, my best friend uses a DBT workbook, and she says it really helps. I'm thinking of checking it out sometime.

It has some really incredible techniques in it. I have found it to be quite an experience to analyze yourself that way
