Anyone with wrestling history would view him as a legit champion. By the
time WM 24 comes around he'll have been on for over 2 years of TV, as
far as titles go, several wrestlers have held the gold in their first televised
year (The Undertaker, Kurt Angle) and main evented WM within two years
of their televised debut (Stone Cold). So in that respect Kennedy matches
up to both. On the next note. Kennedy is the most appealing heel their has
been in a long time. I'd wager to say since The Rock. Edge is a heel and it
shows in fan approval when all you hear is jeers and boos. But Kennedy on
the other hand comes to thr ring, and you'd think it was John Cena, plenty
of boos but a lot of cheers as well. Why? Talent. When he came to Raw?
Forget about it! All cheers, the fans went crazy to have him appear on the
show! Now with him going out on injury as a heel he's going to come back
as a face and it's going to be Triple H in 2002 all over again. I keep telling
people. He comes back face, everybody's loving him. He goes to the Royal
Rumble and wins it leading to a Main Event at Wrestlemania 24 with him and
Edge (assuming Edge is still champion) or him and Undertaker (assuming
the rumors ((after four years of them floating around I might add)) are true
and Undertaker really IS retiring, in which case Kennedy ends his streak
and wins the title, which would be really bitter sweet since Undertaker's my
favorite wrestler). The point is though, Kennedy's going to Wrestlemania as
the winner of the Royal Rumble and if Vince can get his head out of his a**
long enough to put Cena's match 2nd to last and let the rumble winner be
the highlight of the show like they're supposed to me, then he will main event.
SIDE NOTE: Khali's main eventing a PPV against Cena when he couldn't
even put up a decent mid-card match against The Undertaker and they
ended up showing it on Smackdown instead of Summerslam and you're
going to question KENNEDY main eventing something? Come on now, lol
