I love this one. Elrond is my favorite character. It's very often in fanart that the artist gets chided for drawing a different looking version of a character then they are potrayed in a movie.
This is one of those cases that breaks this stantard. Hugo Weaving is my favorite actor and that being said I think the picture embodies Elrond more then any thing else I've seen including Hugo Weaving in the movies. She (Gwyllion) managed to make him look ageless and yet put all that wisdom and age in his eyes at the same time. I matches his descriptions in
The Hobbit and
The Lord of the Rings very well. And it makes me happy to look at it.
