Syreen sat down in front of the fireplace in her favorite overstuffed chair and pulled out her potions book. Then, with a sigh, she tried to finish her potions essay.

Angelina entered the common room quite angrily, broom in hand, and dripping wet. Nobody had been able to see in the rain during their practice, despite the charm Hermione had taught Harry in third year, and their performance showed it. It had taken Harry over an hour to finally catch the Snitch, Katie and Alicia weren't scoring, whenever Angelina attempted a goal, Ron couldn't stop it, and Fred and George had even managed to aim Bludgers at each other and knock the other off of their brooms. Angelina was seriously beginning to doubt how their season would turn out.~

"How'd things go?" She asked, not looking up from her work.

"Horribly," Lina sighed and waved her wand to dry off, though her arms and the frayed ends of her jeans were covered in mud. "Fred and George even managed to knock each other off of their brooms...sometimes they are idiots," she grinned and chuckled. "No, they are always idiots." "Hey!" Fred grinned and joined the two girls on the couch. "I resemble that remark," he chuckled as Lina smiled at him and he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Don't worry, Captain, we'll shape up." Angelina grinned and nodded. "I hope so, Fred. Syreen, what essay are you doing?"

Syreen sighed, "The potions essay we were assigned. '12 inches about crushed dragon's tooth'." She mimicked as Fred and George laughed at her. "I'm going to die of boredom before I finish it."

Angelina grinned and moaned as Fred started massaging her sore shoulders. "I would do my homework, if this one here-" she jabbed a finger at Fred, "didn't insist on distracting me." "I do what I can," Fred chuckled and George made a gagging motion behind the tired couple. Angelina rolled her eyes.

She snickered slightly then said, "I don't have that problem. I tend to try to blend into the background. It makes maintaining good grades easy." Syreen closed her potions book leaving her essay wedged between the pages and set it by the rest of her school stuff then stretched. "I don't see why people are so obsessed with things like that."

"I'm not obsessive in the least," Lina laughed. "But Fred here..." she snorted and waved her wand to dry herself off. "Hey, it's not my fault," Fred grinned and slid down on the couch next to Lina, sliding his arms around her as she gave a small contented sigh and leaned back against him. "You are just too gorgeous." "Fred!" Lina giggled and blushed. "Am not," she muttered before turning back to Syreen, who was looking rather amused. "So, Potions, no kidding. I swear Snape's trying to kill us all this year. I hate Potions..."

"Besides the Slytherins, who doesn't?" Syreen asked trying to ignore what was happening on the couch beside her. "Of course it doesn't help that his 'golden student' is in our class every year. Why do we have to get stuck in double potions with Slytherin?"

"Because Snape hates us and he's conspiring with McGonagall, no really, ask Luna Lovegood," Angelina grinned as Fred nudged her in the side. "I don't know, I don't care, Malfoy's a prat, what else do we need to know? I can't wait to be out of Potions, how we got stuck with double every other day, I don't know, nor do I care. Did you know it's raining?" she asked as Harry and Ron, soaked to the bone, came trudging into the common room.
((OOC: Ok, sorry, we need a plot, do you feel the same way?))

"I guessed" Syreen said before looking quickly over at the two that entered. "Plus, them being totally soaked from head to toe does kind of give it away. Did you guys fly all the way here? You're drenched."
"Yeah Sy, we flew the whole way." Ron said sarcastically, dragging his soaked body across the Common Room and up the stairs.
"Don't mind him." Harry apologized for the rude Weasley. "He gets cranky when he's wet. Just like a cat." Harry gave Syreen a quick, bashful, and clumsy smirkish smile thing before following his friend up the stairs to change.
After he left the older Weasleys couldn't hold it in any longer and burst into laughter. Syreen shrugged off the awkward smile and the laughter and returned to her conversation. "And that confirms that it is raining."

Angelina laughed like she was trying to suppress it, but it definitely was not working. She tried regaining her composure, sighing to stop the giggles, and her mood immediately faded. "We have a match next week...I don't know that they're going to be ready."
"Hey!" Fred interrupted, George drawing himself up defensively. "I told you, don't worry about us, we will be fine, besides, Hufflepuff's a pushover."
"Doesn't mean we don't have to train..." Angelina muttered bitterly. "You are all taking this way too lightly-"
"Here she goes," Fred threw his hands in the air and sat back with a deep sigh as Harry and Ron joined them once again. "Katie and Alicia were smart to stay in the dorm..."
"I'm not kidding, Fred!" Angelina stood angrily. "You were all acting like your minds were somewhere else today and we can't have that! What happens when you can't focus in the match? Our shot for the Cup will be gone before the season even starts! You two knocked each other off your brooms!!! What the bloody was that?? And you two!" She whirled around to face Harry and Ron, who were looking utterly shocked. "Harry, what was the matter today? You usually catch the Snitch within a half hour! Ron, you need to work on your goal keeping! What happened to the guy who won us the Cup in fifth year?"
"Sorry," they both muttered quietly and diverted their gaze. Angelina had yelled before, but she only did it when she was really ticked. Or stressed, they could never figure out which, but they figured the stress is what caused her to be so cranky at times.
"Sorry will not win us that match! Practice, 5:30 tomorrow morning!"
"But tomorrow's Saturday! Five thirty???"
"Yes, Ron, deal with it, and I don't want to hear a word from you three or you'll be watching the game next week from the stands!" Her look was near murderous, but Fred still thought she was gorgeous. He couldn't help it, really, but he knew it was better to let her bad mood run it's course. She would settle down by dinner...which wasn't very far off. Still...Fred couldn't wait until this phase was over.
She sighed angrily at their lack of response, though she had demanded they keep silent, and stormed up the stairs to tell Katie and Alicia about the early practice. The group she left behind could hear the protests from the common room.~
((OOC: That was fun! And yes, I believe you started a good plot up, lol.))

((OOC: more plot! heeheehee))
"5:30! That's not bloody fair! Why do we have to get up on a Saturday at bloody 5:30 in the morning when she's the one concerned. We always goof off and then we get serious the day of the game. She knows that!" Ron blew up, feeling it was unfair that she was punishing them for something they always do.
"You guys will learn sometime that it's not worth arguing with her decision." Syreen said relaxing and stretching out. "Man trying to finish that paper is making me feel like Hermione. I'm going to take a walk."
"I'll come to," Harry said trying to stand. His legs finally gave out and he collapsed back onto the couch. "Actually, I think I'll stay here"
"We're good," the Weasley twins said in unison.
"Me too," Ron said lazily. "I'm too tired to move."
"Well I'll be back soon." Syreen said leaving the common room and making her way down to the dungeons carefully.
"I wonder where she's going." Harry asked curiously.
"Who knows," Ron said oblivious to Harry's interest. "She always disappears about this time. You're usually in bed."

((Ooooh, good stuff, mysterious!...steal my man and die...dungeons...gee what could you possibly be looking for?? Or who...*mutters angrily*))
Angelina came back to the common room feeling extremely flustered, but instead of acting angry, she fell onto the couch beside Fred and pulled him to her closely, resting her head on his chest. Nobody spoke, but Lina finally sighed.
"Where'd Syreen go?" She asked in a strangled voice, as if she were going to cry, but she'd never cried in front of them and she wasn't about to start now.
"I don't know," Ron answered quietly, afraid Lina might explode again. "Walking, I guess."
"Oh," Lina muttered and closed her eyes, more tired today than she had been in years. Feeling sad also tired her out a bit as well, it was hard enough coming from a terrible practice without being depressed but...
Soon, Angelina was fast asleep, using Fred as her pillow...and a partial blanket as he wrapped his arms around her happily. Something good always came from Lina's bad moods.~

Syreen slowly crept through the maze of dungeons until she found the room she was looking for. She whispered the password and cautiously entered. He was there, as always, waiting for her to arrive.
"You're two minutes late." the beautiful blonde slytherin said emotionlessly as he stood and greeted her with a gentle kiss.
"I ran into Mrs. Norris on my way down." Sy replied returning his kiss. "Good thing I had catnip on me." She added sarcastically.
"Catnip, huh?" the Slytherin asked smirking.
"Yup," Sy confirmed, returning his smile.
"Hmm," He sighed as he kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her. She wrapped her arms around him just as he decided to lift her and move her out of the doorway and onto the couch where they could snog in comfort.
Back in the Gryffindor common room.
Harry had fallen asleep in the overstuffed chair in front of the fireplace waiting for Syreen to return from her "walk".
