Wow so I finaly watched Rent for the first time ever tonight and I balled for like the last half hour at the end. Angel is probably the most inspiring person I have ever seen in a movie or anywhere, at least to me.... wow... I'm really tired now... I'm sorry everyone I just needed to proclaim that Angel is definately my idol and new inspiration.

Sorry but I had to reword your post and take out the ending spoiler. We don't want to ruin the movie for everyone else.
Yeah, I cried at the ending too. I broke down several times and do everytime Kim plays that movie. Hard to keep it together while watching it.
Well, I'm glad you found an inspiration.

Well what the crap, Everytime I hear anything about Rent (And i've not seen so thanks for rewording whatever the spoiler may be) but yeah anytime the movie is mentioned in ANY context it turns into "Oh man I cried so much"......I guess I am going to have to break down and pick up this movie and I tell ya, if I don't bawl my eyeballs out, or think its lame in any way shape or form I'm going to have to create a bumper sticker of some sort with some choice words or do something equally effective for making me feel better!

I liked the movie.
Angel is definately my favorite. I felt sorry for Collens.
'Take Me or Leave Me' is one of my favorite songs.
I didn't cry but it did make me sad.

I highly recommend seeing the musical, whether you've seen the movie or not. Compared to the musical, the movie's really...unsatisfactory.
But in both medias, I love Collins and Angel. They're one of the sweetest fictional couples ^_^

I saw the musical last year before I even knew it was a movie. Angel, of course, was my favourite character in the musical but not in the film. In the film, he seemed to remind me too much of my friend Miki who is a crossdresser as well.
