I'm teaching myself to play but it's pretty hard. At least I found a bunch of instructional websites, even though they aren't much help, they're still better than nothing.

cool! My sister is learning bass, with a teacher, but she's also practising guitar by herself smile She's not bad, well, way better than me lol

i try to teach myself bass, but all i can play is the tabs for feel good inc.

I'd like to learn bass, but I don't think I have one... or the attention span to learn one. Guitars are a bit more exciting...

Lol, I decided to try my sister's guitar yesterday. It sounded... well...
It sounded like a drunk rat walking on a guitar...

*I myself have been playing guitar for a bit under a year* xD I learned through school...We have guitar classes. <3 xD I took it since september...And my guitars are sitting beside me now. My electric and my classical <3 I heart em both.
Maybe I can help you in some way learning with my gift from Cthulhu via the heavens to know how to play somewhat such a wonderful instrument? cool
I actually recorded me playing a song or two...If someone would show me a place I could upload em, I'd be happy to show you guys razz Just a sound recording though DX

And you won't learn much from them, me thinks! xD It helps to have a teacher. surprised
