Anybody ever seen those little survey cards in Shojo Beat and Shonen Jump?
Ever sent them in with hopes that you could win the prize?
I send them in every month. Help out the magazine, and actually have a chance to get free stuff.
I never really expected to win anything. Until today.
My mom comes up with the mail and has this envelope package in her hand. She says it's for me and it's from VIZ (Manga company, duh.)
So I'm thinking 'Hey! Mabye I won one of those survey thingies. Haha. Yeah right.'
So I open it, and you wanna guess what was inside?
A black velvet bag, and a note that reads
"Dear Shojo Beat Reader:
CONGRATULATIONS! You have been selected as a winner for our Issue #19 Reader Survey! Enjoy your Snake Oil and Dorian Perfume oils from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.
Blah blah blah other crap blah blah blah I'm too lazy to type it..."
So yeah. A big DOT DOT DOT, right? xD Totally. Haha.
Of all the surveys I've ever sent in, this is the one I win on? HAH. Hilarious.
Moral of the story?: Always enter in magazine surveys. Even if you don't really want the stuff, it's FREE and you can get a good laugh about it.
