Mario Superstar Baseball, known in Japan as Super Mario Stadium Miracle Baseball, and also known to some fans as Super Mario Baseball is a video game that was developed by Namco and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. The game was created in the vein of other Mario sports games such as Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Mario Power Tennis. This game is now a Player's Choice title.
Captains have four team names each, varying depending on who is in the team. Some sub-characters have different colors which can be changed before the match (for example, Toad's red dots and red vest can be changed into purple dots and a purple vest), and some sub-characters must be unlocked by completing Challenge Mode with Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, DK and Bowser.
