Qualinesti glanced over to Sturm, who had just managed to acquire their drinks from a wondering gully dwarf with a tray attached to its head. Two bars connected to a back strap to keep the dwarf from tilting its head down and dropping everything, but this did little to stop them from jostling things around. Still, the food managed to make it to tables alright, and the drinks as well. More often than not the wrong table, but at least they'd gotten to one...

Coincidentally, this also made work on the kitchen crew (currently a band of hill and mountain dwarves who had somehow managed to put aside their rivalries at least temporarily) much easier. People had to be pretty determined to get their meal to come to the mess hall. No snacks, just main dishes. It was just too much of a hassle for something meager when you could just save the battle for dinner.

"I swear... we need a new kitchen crew..." Qualinesti muttered as Sturm came back with the drinks and set them down. Once they'd been situated, he sat down as well.

"Food! Here! Take now!" Qualinesti was jerked to one side, almost pulled off of the chair she sat on. Sturm grabbed hold of her flailing arm in time to steady her, though the dwarf still had a good solid hold on her robe sleeve. The gully dwarf had yanked her down eye level with something rather fat and still alive, looking rather pathetically back up at her. It was segmented, and at length she recognized it as some form of worm.

"That's not ours!!!" She tried to push the dwarf away, but Sturm was steadying her by holding her other arm. She took her foot instead, desperate to get the creature out of her face, and pushed the gully dwarf backward, pulling on her robe sleeve to rip it from the small server's hands. "Over there!! Over there!!!" She waved her now free hand away toward any table but theirs.

"No yell! You order worm! Eat now!" The dwarf pushed forward again.

"It's not ours I tell you! Go!" Sturm had released her arm when she'd managed to steady herself again and she leaned away from the tray encumbered dwarf, holding up her hand as she insisted it leave them alone.

"HEY!! BRING THAT HERE YOU DECK SCRUBBING FISH GUT!! THAT'S MINE!!!" A rather disgusting looking ogre bellowed from a few tables down, clearly angry at having to wait, and refusing to rise for its meal.

"You no yell!" The gully dwarf spun around, the worm shifting frantically in its almost seemingly drugged state to stay aboard the tray. "Food coming! This theirs!"

"No no!! He can have mine!! I did order it, you're correct. But please, give this portion to that sailor, I can wait for another," She waved her arm again, now toward the ogre. The gully dwarf eyed her warily, as though trying to decide if the mage should really give up this meal. Finally, it shrugged and headed toward the other table, trying to walk proudly as it dragged a bundle almost as big as it along.

"I think I'll skip this meal..." She sighed, placing her head in her hands, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.

Sturm, grinning and trying not to laugh, rubbed her back and shook his head, then turned toward Garth. "I wonder what that worm actually tastes like..." He mused, looking over in time to see the ogre rip into the side of the squirming entre. It shook violently as slime and organs spilled out onto the table. He looked back to Garth. "But I'm sure the fish is better."

Garth had been messing with some of the Minotaurs over at a table at the opposite end of the room. He ouwld cast an ice spell on their coffee to make it cold, a wind spell to blow their already revealing loincloths upward and threw his voice to make them think it was one of the hill dwarves in the kitchen. Then the Gully dwarf came to their table.

"Aw Qual. You need to just enjoy the randomness of our orders! It's like a box of chocolates.." He leaned in to Sturm would hear the best, "You never know what'cha gonna get." He pulled himself back chuckling heartily as another Gully dwarf came up to him with a rather putrid looking drink and meal. Garth smiled hapily and took them both,

"Thank you Footstink!"

"You're welcome boss!" The low voiced gully dwarf spouted and then walked off proudly.

Garth clicked his fingers and his meal and drink switched with the Minotaurs. They were quite displeased when they bit into a piece of wurm's bladder burger. Apparently a worker in the kitchen forgot to empty it before boiling it and the steamy urin spilled out and onto the now raging Minotaur. Garth on the otherhand rubbed his fingers together as he was prepared to enjoy a good piece of roasted chiken - the thing he had ordered.

He looked up to sturm, "Actually the worm isn't all that bad. My wife loves to have them as a midnight snack. Especially with her Grog." He smiled heartily as he pulled apart a drumbstick and chewed on it without his manners.

At that time, a pale white elf came into the room. She had a short chain skirt that barely covered her curvy backside and half a breastplate. Moreso just the breast and none of the plate. In her eyes were the wild untamable fires of life and with each confidant step she took warriors and sailors who were in the room happily gawked at her veluptuous form. She sat next to Garth.

"I just kicked Tahngarth's a** at wrestling again. He cried like a little cow when I grabbed his precious little horns." She said grabbing half of the chicken and putting it infront of her.

Randomly across her body were dried blood stains. Either from bar fights or taking on Kelds in the mountains. Garth never knew - she never bathed. Not properly atleast.

"I would hardly consider that little worm a box of sweets..." Qualinesti rolled her eyes, dropping her hands down to the table. Sturm smiled broadly and laughed, nodding in agreement to Garth's comment.

When the gully dwarf brought Garth's meal Qualinesti motioned to it and nodded. "See? Such a wonderful randomness." When Garth switched the orders she rolled her eyes. "Cheater..." She muttered, watching the angry minotaurs raging at the table across the way.

Sturm made a face as the urine spilled from the burger and shook his head. When Garth's wife walked in he grinned. She certainly was quite a fighter, one he'd be far happier with having on his side than against him. And she was certainly as pleasant to have around as Garth, never a dull moment between the two of them.

Qualinesti's ears perked up and she jumped to her feet, darting off toward the kitchen. A gully dwarf had just headed out with their food. Before it got too far, she snatched it from the creature's head.

"Hey! That no yours!" The dwarf started after her.

Qualinesti had longer legs than the creature though, and the dwarf's cries fell on deaf ears. A few strides and she was back to the table and sat down, sliding Sturm's plate in front of him.

"I am far too lazy to worry about switching with another table... and I want my karraku..." She shrugged, digging into the sea monster with her hands. She hadn't even tried to bother looking for silverware. She knew it wouldn't be a problem for Sturm either. As long as he got dinner, he was happy. Silverware or not, it still went down the hatch regardless.

"Do you ever let him win?" Qualinesti raised a brow at Garth's wife, refering to her battle with Tahngarth.

Radha made a seductive smirk towards Qualinesti, leaning forward some of her curves made their way onto the table-top.

"Now now my dear - I'm sure you've never ridden anything as bad as a Minotaur. A word of advice.." She leaned even closer, whispering sensually to her, "Don't ever let the Minotaur get ontop of you.. They have a thing for elves here."

She sat back and ripped into a piece of the chicken and saying almost as an afterthought, "Oh, by the way Garth we're going to have sex."

Garth stopped mid-bate from his chicken, a little taken aback, "..Eh-Wha?"

"On the deck. After I'm done with this I'm dragging you out there." She glared, "And no turning into a mouse this time. You shouldn't be so scared of a Keldon elf."

Garth's eye twitched.

Her sumptuous eyes fell on Sturm, "Say there, knight. Your little elf." He glanced at Qual, "Is she a tiger? Or a puppy?" Again her seductive smirk came onto her face.

At Radha's first comment to Qualinesti, Sturm grinned, holding back a laugh with a smirk. When Radha spoke blatantly to Garth about having relations on the deck he burst out laughing.

"Is she too much for you to handle, Garth?" He laughed. When her eyes fell on him he froze, certain that he was entirely unprepared for anything she might say.

The moment she spoke he knew he was right. He blinked a moment, not sure how to answer the question. He saw Qualinesti sit back in her chair and looked over to see a small smirk dancing across her lips, hidden gracefully by her munching on the Karraku.

He blushed slightly, his mustache doing little to hide it, though he looked back to her and smirked. "The energy and stamina of a dragon is all I'll need. Tiger's are small game, and puppies are certainly not thought of."

Qualinesti's eyes widenned slightly and she paused her chewing for a moment, her cheeks turning crimson. Her eye twitched slightly as well, but she said nothing, merely looking up to Garth as though to say, 'What started this?!'

He widened his eyes and just looked away. Then, convieniently, Garth remembered something.

"By the way. Urza has sent word. We need to pick up the greatest technician of all the planes, Mishra. He is, though, on Krynn."

Radha frowned when Garth began speaking about buisness and glared at him while ripping a piece of meat off the chicken bones and eating it.

"I would like it if the two of you joined me in visiting but I do have to inform the gods something there. Urza sent another message.. for them." He grabbed up his goblet and drank lovingly of the wine within it.

"Oh?" Qualinesti looked up, thinking of home. She looked over to Sturm, her cheeks slowly returning to their normal rather pale shade. Sturm looked to her at the same moment, a smile spreading across his face. He looked to Garth first and she followed suit as he spoke of the message directed to the gods of Krynn.

"A message from Urza to the gods of Krynn?" Sturm raised a brow.

"For their eyes only?" Qualinesti prompted, refusing to finish her entire thought aloud. 'Or are we allowed to sneak a peek and figure out what's going on?'

Radha looked over to Qual just as she started to think the end of the statement seeing her lips didn't move she quirked a brow,

"Fellow elf," she said the name of her race like she was tasting venom, "You should know something. Away from Krynn your mind will be connected to other elves especially the closer we get to Dominaria and seeing as how we're within the universe where Rathi is.. well. Just know that what I hear my husband does as well."

Garth smirked mischieviously until his wife said something about him being able to hear what Qual was thinking. He held up his wedding ring.

"Marriage is much more important the closer you get to Dominaria and much more of a .. Partner-ship too." He rolled his eyes and shrugged it off, "Yes. You can hear the message."

He took out a small blue jewl and rolled it on the table. A light shone from its center and it produced an image of a tall lanky wizard dressed in dark blue robes accented by gold and purple.

"Gods of Krynn. I am disapointed with how I hear you are handling your charge. The dead that come to Dominaria tell me things that you have done and," he leans closer - a dark blue eye apearing from under the hood, "Not done. I've heard of your ways that you dealt with a blasphamer and with those who were in the city. Therefore I have decreed it that Krynn will be purged and made anew. Those my servants find suitable - God and mortal alike - will be given safety aboard their ark - The Weatherlite. Those who are left behind will be consumed in the aethreal fire. You may ask why.. Why!? Because you have allowed the void to pass into and out of your realms. For the safety of all other planes I must destroy this plane and remake it. Because of ALL of your mistakes. Know that Garth is one of my servants and is just below me in planeswalking. I have given him permission to destroy on site anyone who tries to defy my wishes. Those who accompany him are also my servants. You should just sit back and reap what you have sown. That is all."

The light of the crystal dimmed.

"We're picking up Mishra so that he can make a vessel for you Sturm. Radha noticed the other day how you were like the undead. Do not worry. Mishra is the greates engineer in all the planes. He'll be able to make you a suitable body." He folds his arms and nods silently to himself.

When Radha spoke, Qualinesti got the distinct impression that the woman was angry and she raised a brow. She recalled her thoughts then brushed them aside. She'd meant nothing agressive.

When Garth confirmed the mental connection as well she looked over to Sturm, who raised his brows and half smiled. "That explains some things then..." He laughed lightly.

When Garth displayed the jewel, both turned their attention to it. After they had heard it all they looked to one another and exchanged a rather serious and slightly troubled look. Both turned to Garth.

"Purged? Krynn?" Sturm's brows furrowed. The message came from Urza and it held merrit. He paused, sitting back in his chair, the wood creaking with the shift of weight. The people would be spared, so it must be alright. Well, the suitable ones anyway.

Qualinesti continued to look at Garth, even after Sturm sat back and fully processed the message. "God and mortal alike?" She remembered a desperate longing to return home. She missed Krynn, but she'd found traveling almost as satisfying as relaxing in any of the towers or beneath the massive trees of Sollace. Images flashed through her head of the differnent gods and goddesses. Some were kind, Mishakal, Paladine, Chemosh, even Sargonnas (though in a demeanoring and rather cruel way, still kind in his own as well). Takhisis angered eyes and the vision of her dragon form with five heads and the Chaos god as well, father to all the gods. Gilean, forever at his writing. Her memory of her fight with the gods, both a verbal and a physical war at times flashed through her mind, but she forced it away. She would not recall it or allow another glimpse of it unless necissary.

Garth startled both of them when he spoke of Mishra making Sturm a new vessel. Qualinesti fidgetted with her wedding ring. Chemosh had granted him a sort of undead immortality, but it had been the best they had been able to come up with once his soul had been intrusted to Qualinesti in its aethereal form. Nothing else had seemed a better idea, though they'd tried several... rather disturbing methods in different places.

"What is the payment for the... um..." Sturm looked to Qualinesti who nodded and finished his question, "gollem he'll be able to create?"

In all honesty, Sturm was willing to trust the man if Garth did. Garth had earned his trust, so if he suggested Mishra as the best, he must be the best. Qualinesti was far more cautious, as she referred to it. Sturm insisted it was paranoia. Still, she took much longer to trust a person than Sturm did, and at higher costs as well. She would not lay hope in someone until she'd met them and judged them herself, weighing what she knew of them. However, much like her husband, if she grew to trust a person, she trusted them entirely. Garth she trusted. Radha she was learning to trust more as time passed, though the woman's sexual nature to her was slightly unsettling at times. Sturm put his trust in both. Garth was an honorable man, Radha his wife. To trust one is to trust the other. Simple as that to him.

"Heh. You've never met mishra before have you? If you ask him to build something he'll do it for free just so long as he can be the first to see it work but he isn't one to go out and get the materials to create whatever machine you want him to make. So if there was a payment it would be collecting the materials. Ugh.. I remember when we had to get him to build a Draco.." He shivers in his seat, "The amount of fresh dragon materials was enough to choke a planes devourer."

He leaned back in his seat, "The two of you must realize that Master Urza is balancing out the powers of good and evil. He will give Krynn a chance to redeem itself but he doubts the gods will attempt to do so. He also sent spesific instructions for you Qual. He wants you to begin taking afoot in your planeswalking but through different means.. He wants you to devour all of the Elder dragons within each plane and have them merge with you. Your husband will probably reach planeswalking sooner than you. So for a time you'll have to put up with him being about four hundred and sixty seven times more powerful than you but when you are done, the two of you will be totally equal in power. This will also help with the stability of child birth. One of the other reasons why it was nearly impossible for you to give birth Qual. Your eggs required too much power from sturm to create an entire being. Also with you being undead, Sturm not only had to be alive - but also able to revive the dead. Then your Dragon half and then your elven half.. Going outside your race to have children is a very complicated and distressing thing."

He looked over to Radha who was watching him with yerning eyes.

She sighed deeply, "Can we go to the deck now..?" She fluttered her eyes.

"I'm not displaying our intercourse.. Not again atleast.."

"Aw come on! The dwarf was just curious!"

"Radha!"

Radha smiled mischieviously.

Garth narrowed his eyes at the Keldon Elf. Trying to hate her but once again he couldn't. He turned over to Qual and Sturm again.

"She's twice my age and she still looks better than me." He rolls his eyes sipping his wine.

"So we'll be getting all the materials then?" Sturm thought about the materials, wondering what all it might include.

"Wait, wait... Devouring the Elder dragons?!" Qualinest's jaw dropped. She completely disregarded Garth saying that Sturm would be stronger by several hundred times. "Will... will that make me a canibal?" She muttered, her eyes wide.

"Planeswaking? Magic using? Before her?" Sturm sat back, shaking his head. "A-are you sure?"

The rest of what Garth had said sank in to Qualinesti first, Sturm catching it shortly after. There was a rather long pause between both of them as Radha and he talked of their... relations on the deck...

Qualinesti looked to Sturm first. After a moment he sat back again, raising his hands and shaking his head. "I'm not raising anything from the dead! You know how I feel about that!"

Qualinesti blinked, a little taken aback by his answer.

Sturm looked to her and shook his head again.

"Seriously... And you really don't have enough appetite to eat a whole dragon..." He shook his head, looking her over.

Rolling her eyes, she sighed, putting her arm on the table and resting her chin on her palm.

"Well your first meal will be Tekhisis because we're about to approach her within the in between, so prepare yourself."

Garth stood up and left the mess hall. Radha watching boredly.

"If you need any help with that wench - call me out so I can play." She said with a sumptuous smile.

Garth came on deck when Tahngarth took his side,

"Sir, we're only a few miles from her position. Are you sure-"

"Yes, Tahngarth. She needs to pass this trial before I can trust her in consuming the Ur-Dragon."

Tahngarth nodded and turned to shout out commands to some of the crew.

"Takhisis?" Qualinesti's eyes widenned. She kept her sight on him til he disappeared. When Radha spoke she turned to look at the drow, her eyes lit with an inner rage, barely containable. She stood slowly. "I do not care who deals with her, to be perfectly honest." Qualinesti spoke in even, deathly calm tones. "If I am allowed the honor, so be it..."

Sturm rose quickly, hearing the dangerous tone in his wife's voice.

"I'd be willing to do far more than simply devour her..." Qualinesti muttered as she turned to go up on deck. "It wouldn't be the first time I'd challenged her."

"Oh boy..." Sturm watched as Qualinesti disappeared. "You know, everything they say when you're young about women being dainty and frail and needing protection is pretty much a lie, I've come to realise." He glanced to Radha. "I don't suppose they taught things like that among the Kelds though..."

As Qualinesti reached the upper deck she pulled her cloak around her farther. Her expression was calm, though her eyes were certainly eager for any sign of the goddess. She moved to the edge of the ship, crossing her arms.
