Mirage sat sat down by a bush that was covered in bright red berries and popped one into her mouth. She squeed with delight and ate another one until her beak was smeared with red berry juice. She grinned at Quck Silver and then laid down on the grass with her legs sticking up in the air. "Those.....berries......are.......nice!" She mumbled inbetween chews of food.
Quick Silver rolled his eyes at Mirage and gingerly ate one of the berries. He stuck out his tongue at the other chick and squirmed. "I got a sour one!" He retorted and pounced on her.

Ichi was wondering around towards the place she met Mirage before, near a tree. She was still new here, but was slowly learning her way around. As she walked along, she heard talking behind one of the bushes. She blinks, and being curious as ever, would walk over to it quietly and hides behind it. Once hidden, she moves forward into the bush and looks out onto the other side. She was trying to be hidden, tho her tail feathers were sticking out the back of the bush in plain sight to any passing by. She looked through the bush and saw Mirage's back. She didn't know it was Mirage from behind tho, and was too close to Mirage to see around her to look at the other chick she heard. She desided to stay there and listen for now, being curious as to what they were talking about.

"Well I'm not surprised Quick Silver. You have been acting sour this week so you got a taste of your own medicine!" Mirage replied with pout. She didn't like the way that Quick Silver acted when he was in a bad mood. He would be very grumpy and snap at her for no apparent reason. "Seriously Silver, you need to take a chill pill and relax. Stop being so uptight and grumpy. Have some fun for once in your life!" The chick giggled and prodded Quick's forehead with her wing. "Here, this one is a sweet berry. Its delcious!"
Quick Silver gave Mirage a suspicious look, but nonetheless popped the berry into his beak and ate it. "MMMMM, you're right. It was a sweet one, gimme some more!" He demanded playfully and prodded Mirage back. They were both unaware of the phoenii watching them from behidn the bush, but they were care-free. "I think I found a sweet one!" He announced and chweed on it. "Okay I was wrong. It was sour!" Quick SIlver flinched and wrinkled up his whole face (like when you eat a sour lemon).

Ichi continued to watch. Atlest she tried to watch. Since she couldn't see from behind Mirage, she tried to move over some to be able to see Silver now aswell. What she didn't know, is that bushes only hide things not looking out of them. Since she was looking out, she had to open it alittle with her wings, so she was visable clearly to anyone that looked over and noticed the two redish eyes staring at them. Seeing as Mirage's back was to her, it would probly be Silver that notices her first if Silver looked over near her hiding spot. She continued to listen tho, not thinking of being hidden that much since she was too curious to notice. She heard about the berries, watching and picked one like she had seen Silver eat. It was a sweet one, and cause of it's sweet and good taste, it made her murr loudly. Mirage probly heard her then, since the bushes would ristle then as she tried to pick and eat all the berries on that bush now.

Mirage heard tee noise from behidn the bush and jumped in the air in shock. She turned round in mid-air so when she landed she was facing the bush. "Who is there? Show yourself you STALKER!" She hissed and narrowed her eyes. She didn't like to be sneaked up on and she could lash out at other phoenii ir provoked. "I said show yourself, you fiend!" She opened her beak as if to bite the intruder and stretched out her wings in a threatening way.
Quick Silver looked at the bush aswell but was unfased by the intruder. "Mirage calm down, take a chill pill!" He mimicked but the phoenii behind the bush did make him feel uneasy. "But i agree with you Mirage. SHOW YOURSELF!!" He shouted with Mirage and copied what she was doing. His beak opened and his wings outstretched.

Ichi was still eating the berries happily, but soon heard then yelling for her to come out. She blinks some and looks out to see that they were looking at her and her bush. She gulps some, turning around and started to pick as many berries as she could. Then when her wings were full of berries, she went out the other side of the bush. She started to run away from the other two. Being a child, she did what most children do when caught doing something back, she ran and tried to find her way home, but still being new here, quickly lost her way.

Mirage listened carefully to the phoenii running away and sighed happily. "I think the phoenii has gone. Maybe he/she was picking berries to eat? I think we over reacted." She muttered and sweatdropped. "I'm going to go find out who it is and aplogise to them. I feel really guilty now that I scared them away, they were only probably eating. I'll be back in a minute Silver." She explained before chasing after the other phoenii. She used her cunning skills to camoflage in the grass alsmost like a desert mirage disappears. Mirage then sneake dup on the unsuspecting phoenii and poucned on her. "Ichi?" She exclaimed when she noticed who it was.

Ichi had ran till she couldn't take it anymore and sighs as she sits down a rests. She thought for sure she would be safe, so started to eat some berries. She was surprised when suddenly pounced. "EEP!! Don't hurt me!" she squeeks out, thinking that the person that caught her was going to punish her. Then apon hearing her name, she would blink and look up at the other chick. "Mirage?" She asks, blinking up at the other chick and finally noticing it was her and smiles. "Hello Mirage!"

"It is you Ichi!" Mirage giggled and rolled off of her friend. "Sorry for pouncing on you like that. We wanted to know who was on the other side of the bush. I though you were a stalker. My mistake!" She laughed and sweatdropped. "I'm glad you're okay though. Did you get nay sour berries? BEWARE OF THE SOUR BERRIES!" She taunted Ichi and grinned before taking one from the chick and ate it. Surprise, surprise it was a sour one and made Mirage squirm as she ate it.

Ichi giggles to her. "I wasn't stalking. I was lost." she stated matter factly. "Tho, who was that other chick with you? A friend? A sibling?" she asks, tilting her head some. "Maybe some evil creature bent on taking the world!?" then she would giggle loudly. "Never mind that last one." She saids, taking one of the berries and eating it. It was a sour one aswell, making her twitch her tail feathers and make a sour face.

Mirage giggled back and shook her head after eating the berry. "No I don't think he wants to take over the world, hopefully. No, his name is Quick Silver. Even though we aren't blood related, we treat each other as siblings." She explained and grinned when she noticed Ichi had a sour one. "The sour ones are really sour, aren't they?!" Mirage ruffled up her feather so they stuck out at awkward angles and made her look like a giant fluff ball.

Ichi would nod to her, saying. "Wow! Thats nice of both of you, to treat eachother like siblings. I know that not many would do that." she saids, the blinking some while eating another berry and giggles some. "Well.... I am still lost Mirage. Maybe you can help me around this place? It's soo big!"

"Hai, it is big to us little chicks. But if you fly you can get a better view of where you are going!" Mirage reported and flapped her wings faster and faster until she was up in the air. "Its litterally a birds eye-view of the whole place. Well a phoeniis eye-view anyway!" She giggled at her little joke and surveyed the area. Looking for where Ichi wa susposed to be. "Where are you heading to Ichi?"
