So I caught Dialga and I went to go catch the 3 spirits. I went to Snowpoint first so I could get Timer and Quick Balls. I went to Uixe Sent out my Empoleon first. Here this explains everything
Turn 1
Threw Quick Ball
Escapes
Turn 2
Quick Ball
Escapes
Turn 3
Surf
Turn 4
Bubblebeam
Turn 5
Strength
Turn 6
Empoleon faints with Uxie still having about an 1/4 of a inch of health
Sent out Kababra
Turn 7
Psybeam
1 HP left
Turn 8-15
Ultra Ball(I had 20)
Turn 16
UB
Kababra faints
Sent out a lvl 18 Pikachu
Turn 17
Faints
Turn 18-24
Sending out Lucario while reviving Pikachu and sending him out
Turn 25
Thunder Wave
Turn 26
Pika faints
send out Lucario
Turn 27-35
Ultra Balls(ran out)
Turn 36-45
Quick Balls(for time)
Turn 46-55
9 Timer Balls
Turn 56
Uxie uses Struggle and faints.
Its more cause I had to just heal Lucario...but still I wanna cry now. 56 turn Timer Ball didn't work WTF!?

It's a legendary. It doesn't matter what the ball says. It still depends on luck
And by the way, Quick balls only work if you use them at the BEGINNING of a battle, so you wasted those turns

It took me like 3 or 4 times X3 to catch Uxie but remember Uxie is the smart one =D

Try to inflict Freeze or Sleep on them. If you have them down to their last HP and you inflict a status condition, it'll make it way easier to catch them (relatively). I mean, you'll still have them break out, but it won't happen as often.
Also, do you really need to catch them? I mean, all you need to do is see them, really, for them to count towards completing the Sinnoh Dex.
And you could always trade with someone for the ones you don't have. *shrugs*

those legendaries have a catch rate of 3, meaning 3 times out of 100 you will catch them. of course its applied to each ball throw so even if you do throw 100 balls they might not catch them. quick balls have a 2x multiplier for the catch rate on the first turn, ultra balls have a 2x catch rate, dusk and timer balls(after the 4th turn) have a 4x catch rate. i ran through 50 ultra balls and 25 timer balls before i caught mesprit crying thank god for mean look. sweatdrop

I caught Dialga on the first time with one quick ball. I've never even seen Dialga attack yet, since I don't use it.

Strange. I caught Palkia with Three Dusk Balls, and everyone I know says Uxie is easier to catch...(Besides, it's pretty weak for a legendary.)
