(This RP is between Dawn and Blair. You know the drill, no posties unless asked or invited.) Blair sat in one of the padded chairs of the large empty library. Classes wouldn't start for another week, but Blair wanted to get comfortable with the large university. For the last few days she walked along the campus, finding only a few audios.
Today was different. She was taking a break from walking around all day. The music on her headphones was turned all the way up as she pretended to grip a pair of drum sticks and play along with the song. Her dark crimson hair bounced around her head as her golden eyes were closed, focused on the music pouring into her ears. She stopped momentarily as her black furred paws griped the invisible sticks harder as she prepared for a drum solo.

 Dawn padded her way into the library, glad to find it quiet. She was excited for school to start in a few weeks, but she wanted to see if she could get some studying in while it was quiet and not crowded and not many other girls were at the university yet. She almost didn't notice the other female sitting at the table if it wasn't for the loud music coming from the headphones. She stopped in front of the table and tilted her head to the side, "Ummm...excuse me....but you are in the library, it's supposed to be quiet in here." she said.

The two toned audio kept her eyes closed, not noticing the other girl. IT wasn't untill a few moments later when she opened her eyes for a brief second that she saw her. She quickly reached up and turned the volume down on the phones and looked to the girl, her golden eyes blinking softly. "I'm sorry, did you say something?" She asked as she stood up so she was eyelevel with her.

It took everything Dawn had not to roll her eyes at the girl, "I said you shouldn't be making so much noise in here, it is a library." she said, folding her arms in front chest.

"Oh." she sat back down, "Sorry about that, I didn't realize anyone else was here." She said as she turned the volume up slightly, and pulled out the chair that was next to her so the other sould sit down. "I'm Blair." She said as she held out her right paw.

Dawn was a bit scared that the other girl would get an attitude with her about the music, but she smiled in relief and she went to sit down at the chair that was pushed out. Taking the paw, she shook it, "My name is Dawn, nice to meet you." she said.

She laughed as she replie, "Pleasure's all mine." She sat down as her new friend did, and placed her elbows on the back of the chair. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you at school so early? Classes don't start for a few weeks." She said as she looked over Dawn. Her name truely fit her fur color.

"I wanted to see what books we would have to get for studying and maybe look through them. That way I can get my homework done faster and that gives me more time for fun!" she explained, leaning back in her seat.

She chuckled lightly. "Brains, looks, and a sense for partying." her tail swayed lightly, "I can tell you'll be popular with the guys." She smiled as she took a pair of drum sticks out of her bag. "All I can do," she rolled the sticks on the table quickly, "is make noise." She laughed again.

Dawn blushed heavily at that and she fiddled with her skirt, "I don't know any guys outside of my family." she said sheepishly.

Blair closed her eyes and shrugged. "Ya, me nether." She chuckled, "And all he likes to do is sit around and drink tea." She smiled as she stood up. "Know who your room mate is yet?" She reached her black furred arms up and rose to her toes in a large stretch.

She leaned back and folded her one leg over the other, putting her hands behind her head and she looks up at the ceiling of the library, "Not yet, I haven't been told anything yet." she said soflty.

"Knowing the faculty and staff..." she shot a glare at the empty librarians desk, "we won't find out till the day we start classes." She walked over to a nearby shelf and started to look at the spines of different books, seeing if there as anything of interest.

"You don't think we are gonna get teachers and staff that don't know what they are doing, do you?!" she asked, her eyes going wide. There was no way she was gonna go to a school where the staff needed to go back to school!

"I hope not." She said as she flipped through a history book. "My mother spent alot of money for me to go to this school." She placed the book back onto the shelf.
