History:

In c. 600 B.C. the Thracian-Cimmerian and Scythian tribes moved across this area, while the Celtic tribes crossed this territory in the III century B.C. The founding of Singidunum is attributed to the Celtic tribe, the Scordiscs.
Already at this time, a considerable Celtic cultural influences have been woven into the spiritual culture of the Circinn inhabitants, and later mixed with Faye classical cultural elements.
The Romans conquered Circinn in the beginning of the I century A.D. and it has been under their rule for full four centuries. The soldiers of the Moesian legions made the first Roman garrison here. The well-shaped graves found at Toorg and other locations in the city date from this period. A part of the Roman Empire, beside Circinn, was the other human outpost, Crannog on the loch Tay. Both of these towns have become important military strongholds on the fortified Roman border - the "limes".
Currently:

The date is now 83 A.D. the Pict's principle leader, Irlaunde of Icham (the daughter of the infamous Chief Calgacus), has been reduced to that of a figurehead thanks to the Romans. However, she secretly plans to mount an offensive and drive them back into the unknown regions they came from. To do this, she is considering aide from either the Youkai or Faye nations- but what will the cost be? Could it be any worse than occupation by her on species?
