= Home to Princess Zelda, Hyrule Castle lies up the North road from the Castle Town. The doors that lead into the courtyard are constantly guarded. Inside the courtyard there are three paths. The one to the West leads to the royal family graveyard. It is said at night that the ghosts of those who once lived in the castle can been seen roaming about in there. To the East is flower gardens. During certain celebrations and events, the townsfolk are allowed into the courtyard. The flower gardens are an exclusive attraction, known for their world re-known beauty. The North path leads up to the front doors of Hyrule Castle. Inside, the castle maintains a certain nostalgic feeling. Priceless chandeliers and paintings of former royalty hang almost everywhere. Behind the throne of Princess Zelda there is a beautiful sculpture of the three goddesses who created the world, circling the Tri-Force. =

As Xander walked down the hallway towards the throne of Princess Zelda, he looked at all the paintings that decorated the walls. No matter how many times he came in here and how many times he had already seen the works of art, he still admired each of them. When Xander reached the throne, he got on one knee, putting an arm across it and bowing his head.
Princess Zelda, is there anything you ask of your royal guardian on this day?

"Please, rise Xander," she said, an exasperated tone in her voice. "And for the last time will you of all people please just call me Zelda?" She fidgeted uncomfortably on her throne; the gleaming gold surface was built to impress, not for comfort. "Is anyone outside waiting to petition the court today?" As much as she hated sitting in the throne room, she did feel a degree of satisfaction in helping resolve the problems of her people.

Xander stood upright once again, bowing his head before the Princess.
As you wish...Princess Zelda.
He gave the hint of a small smile, knowing he had defied her request to address her only by her name and not a title before. However, he did not permit himself the luxury of dropping formalities. They had their place and he respected that. As he turned, a guard came rushing into the castle, slamming right into Xander. He stumbled back a bit as the guard fell to the floor. Xander quickly brandished his sword, the blade coming an inch or so away from the guard's neck.
What is the meaning of such an entry?
The guard was shivering on the floor, a look of terror in his eyes.
"Th-Th-The town...Castle Town is under attack!"
Under attack?!
Xander's eyes grew wide as he spun around. They locked on the Princess.
Your highness, I await your orders.

Zelda's eyes flew open in shock, but she quickly regained her composure. "Go take the guard. Repel the attack as you can, but see to the safety of the people first. You know your job better than I, I leave you to it."
She turned to the messenger. "Please relay a message to my ladies in waiting and the servants. Anyone not otherwise helping with our defense is to meet me here so we can organize to prepare for any wounded. Then take your leave to the kitchen and refresh yourself before returning to duty."
"Xander," she turned again to the head of her guard, "I want more information on the source of this outrage as soon as possible. Now hurry, please."

Xander was quick sheath his sword, saluting Princess Zelda immediately afterwards.
I shall return as quick as I can.
An with that, he was off.
