Haven't seen the preview, some one told me about it. I'm going to see it when it comes out. Same person told me about Resident Evil, a new one coming out too. I should find out exactly whats going on.... whee

I love it, it is in essence, a zombie movie. the people infected lose their humanity and their minds, and want to attack humanity, similar to zombies.

I hated 28 Days later when I first saw it, but I need to watch it again and see if I have a different opinion. The 28 Weeks later looks much better.

I thought it was better than the first one becuase it wasn't as in depthly focused on the happenings of a small group of people. You didn't have to identify with them, you simply had to follow their interesting escape. Also, I enjoyed the focus on the government structure and repopulation efforts because in the event of a major, yet somehow contained, outbreak, the response of the government is crucial to the survivors, and I thought it was an accurate portrayal, if a little early.

I think I liked the small in depth take of the first one, just focusing on the few people. I think it makes sense to start off with a few then go to a wider scale, like the second one. I though it kind of mimmicked what they wanted to show and how the infection spread. Small to large. I wonder if they will make a third movie. 28 Months later?

The are making a third one. The title is aptly, "28 Months Later," and it supposed to take place in Russia. Last I checked, it was scheduled for release in July.

I wonder if this will be another never ending series of movies like Saw!? I love both franchises and only hope they keep making good films.
