Accepted Profiles: Name Nadare Ki Powers and Race Shape-Shifter, can change into anything. Sex Female Age 16 Appearance http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b382/Neko-Kyo/anime00001.jpg Personality Nadare is a happy, outgoing person. On occasion she is shy, but for the most part she is bold. History Nadare was abandoned upon the discovery of her powers, so ever since the age of three she has been somewhat of a wanderer. Almost instantly after being abandoned she was picked up by a kind man, a necromancer, who was going through the woods at the time. He tried to teach her the trade for the few months that followed, but she was too young to really learn any of it. So he left her at the first orphanage he came across. Leaving her with nothing but a warning to keep her powers secret. She lived the next six years of her life in that orphanage. Not learning much, but managing to pick-up on reading and basic math. One day she got fed up with the constant taunting and bullying of one of the older orphans. Nadare snapped and transformed into bear, her goal being simply to scare the boy. As far as the Orphanage’s workers where concerned, Nadare was a menace and the sooner she was gone, the better off they would be. So once more Nadare was left to her own devices. For the next two years she lived alone on the streets. Stealing for food and moving from one temporary home to the next. She would have continued this less than perfect life for longer, but she was caught pick pocketing and sent to jail. After a week she was released and told to get far from the city, or else she would be sent to the gallows. Not wanting to tempt fate Nadare did exactly as ordered and found herself traveling through woods once more, not that she really remembered it too well from the first time. Fate was on her side, and the very same necromancer from before found her. Nadare didn’t recognize him, but somehow he did. She traveled with him for the following three years. Learning more from him then she had from anyone else in her entire life. The necromancer refrained from teaching her anything related to necromancy, but he did teach her how to fight, with and without weapons. Not only that, but many of life’s lessons were learned from him. When she was fourteen the two of them parted ways. Both leaving to pursue their own features. Weapon Two daggers strapped to her legs in leather sheaths. Light-weight sword worn around her waist. Strengths Talking to people, spying. Weaknesses Torture, Seeing others in pain. Also, when some one completly encircles her, like in a hug, she is unable to shape-shift.
Name- Chloe Age- 16 Sex- Female Powers and Race- Time control, can pause for up to 5 minutes (any longer than that would be unfair) and can travel forward and backwards. She can't do this too often or too far in time, because it completely whips out her energy. Appearence-clicky Personality- Curious, intelligent and a fast learner, but can be extremely shy. Bio- Born and raised into a very rich and sheltered life in America, on Chloe's 16th birthday in 2007 her abilities to travel through time came forth and she was sent back to medieval times. She woke up much later and found herself lying in a ditch on the side of the road that lead into a large forest. Scared and confused, she now lives in a small little hut she built out of what fallen branches and anything else she could get, and avoids any travelers. She knows nothing about fighting, hunting, or anything else necessary for survival, and doesn't know the native language at all. She was sent to this time about a week ago, and has only eaten one, the leftovers of some hunters that went past the area. Weapon(s)- None Strengths- Problem solving, she can be very lucky, most animals seem to be drawn to her Weaknesses- Large crowds, at times she lacks common sense, anything that reminds her of home.
Name- Damien Age- 20 Sex- Male Powers- Imune to fire/lava/heat, Race- mutated human Bio- Damien was raised in the bustling mainland city. Unfortunetly for Damien, his father was a budding alchemist who made a habbit of testing his fledgling skill against advanced and arcain concoctions. During one such experiment, Damiens father added the wrong amount of sulpher to the wrong concoction that was unstable in the worst possible way. With no time to warn his family, the entire house was swollowed by a blazing white fire. The protective amulets Damiens mother and father wore as thier wedding symbols failed. However, Damien's did not fail, only malfunction. Instead of death, Damien was forever protected against any form of heat. His body forever doomed to the cold. His mind forever scarred by the sight of the empty crator that used to be his life.
Personality- Paranoid, quiet, neurotic, and holds a bad temper if scratched the wrong way. Appearence- Silver eyes, flame tatoo's down each arm, flame retardent blue pants with matching tunic, short silver hair, no shoes, black leather belt, silver amulet hung on an old bit of leather strap. Weapon(s)- Pouch of four throwing knives, short sword straped to the small of his back paralell to the ground, curved blade straped to his side. Strengths- Able to swim in lava, skilled blacksmith, good in a fight, doesn't drink and only smokes after a swim (yes a joke XD) Weaknesses- Always cold, paranoid, undiplomatic, not stealthy.
Name- Macheavelli Age- 17 Sex- female Powers and Race- Cyromancy, human Bio- At the age of fourteen, MAcheavelli was apointed as the newest squire to One of the royal guard, after only a single year she had brough to much shame to the knight and she was forcibly removed form duty, as the area fell into the clutches of winter her cyromantic powers began to manifest, and she was declared an enemyof the crown. She has since spent her life in hiding, in plain sight. LIving off of the mistakes and blunders of others she must live most of her life in and out of homes.
Personality- In contrast to her mastery of Cyromancery, and even her, name Macheavelli is a nice enough person, with a strict sence of honor and loyalty. Appearence- Tall, silvery whiteish hair, and near translucent blee eyes. SHe is very thin, and pale, mostly from spending a lot of time constructing and then using building A. She is strong for her body type. Her usual attire consists of some stuff she has desgned for herself, Mostly the coat she wears, mostly black with a deep blue right arm, with an embroidered serpent spiraling up it. And the pants she wears, wich have about thirty different pockets on them. Weapon(s)- No non magic baced weapons, cyromancy allows construction of ice baced weapons, and armors. Strengths- When temperatures drop she bocomes stronger, in most sences, cyromantic ability rises, in lowenough temperatures, cyromancy will even manifest into a healing factor that will exponentially grow if the weather continues at that level. Weaknesses- when temperature rises, she becomes weaker in all sences, is more easily able to sucumb to illness, and injury. cyromantic ability drasticly decrease

Nadare wandered down the seemingly endless path alone. A breeze played at the tree branches, causing the shadows cast by the evening sun to dance across the forest floor. It was getting late and soon, Nadare knew, she would have to set up camp for the night. “Might as well be now.” She muttered to herself and walked off the path, not going to deep into the forest for fear of getting lost. Hastily she started a fire, using the flint and steel she always kept in her backpack. Night was coming fast and she was plenty frightened being alone out in the woods.

As Damien sat alone in the mouth of a cave bordered by a cliff, he notices a small shining light embeded in the forest. Without hesitation, he draws a blurry, colapsable telescope from a side pocket and flicks it upen. Apon inspection it seems to be simply a lost tourist, not worthy of further inspection. "If I have to save another one I'm going to start charging, this is getting rediculous."

((Wow, I kinda forgot about this... sowee))
Chloe sat cross-legged on the floor outside her poor excuse for a house, wishing desperately for some sort of food to come her way. She glanced towards the forest, knowing there had to be something in there she'd be able to catch and eat. She had been debating with herself for the past few days whether to try to search the forest or not, and now that she'd become so hungry, it didn't look like she had much of a choice. She stood up and began to cautiously walk towards the forest.

Nadare took out her last loaf of bread. It was carefully wrapped in brown paper, to keep the crumbs from spilling all over the other things in her backpack. With hands shaking from hunger Nadare unwrapped the paper, exposing the bread. She tore off a generous portion for herself and proceeded to wrap the rest of it back up. About to take a bite of the bread, Nadare’s eyes drifted down the path, where, assuming her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her, there was a girl of similar age walking down the path. Checking to make sure her sword was still in its hilt at her side, Nadare stood up and walked towards her. She was a genuinely friendly and caring person, but it never hurt to be too careful.

I stand up to go back to bed but as I turn to disapear into the darkness of my cave, the smell of bread wafts up from the valley below. Sighing sadly, I loosen my sword and grab a rope. If I can smell the bread from way up here, god only knows what dark creatures of the forest are already bounding towards the girl in hopes of a quick meal.

Completely distracted by staring fearfully at the trees, Chloe took no notice of anybody that was approaching her, until she was only a few feet away from the girl. "Oh, um, hello. I didn't realize anybody else was here!" She said, smiling. She then noticed the hunk of bread in the girl's hand. "Hey, could I have a little bit of that maybe?" She asked, stomach growling loudly. ((What language do they speak on the island? Chloe only knows English.))

((English, except… I don’t know, different slang? Hey, is Chloe wearing modern clothes?)) Nadare stared at the bread in her hands. Why couldn’t that girl get her own food, god knows she must have passed more than enough fruit bearing bushes on her way here. Still, it was good to make friends, and fruit did get boring if one continuously has it. “Sure.” She said, and ripped the bread in half, offering the larger share to her new acquaintance. “I’m Nadare.”

((Ok, so it's basically the same language we use now but with some older-timey words? And yea, her clothes basically look like how if you... made me live outdoors for a week. Normal, but very dirty and kinda ripped up.)) "Thank you so much!" She exclaimed and shoved the hunk of bread in her mouth, eating it very messily, but being careful not to drop any of it on the ground. "You have no idea how long I've gone without eating! Y'know, all this is missing is some mayo, cheese and a bit of turkey! I could really go for a sub right now, especially a grilled one or something... I know this cafe that makes the most amazing sandwiches..." Realizing she was rambling, Chloe stopped and looked around. "Hey, do you know where we are?"

“Uh, in a forest?” Nadare said dumbly, stunned by the girl’s sudden burst of energy, and her crazy ramblings. What was mayo and what was a sandwich? This girl clearly didn’t come from around here; Nadare wouldn’t be surprised if she came from some other island. Foreigners were uncommon, but one did hear of them from time to time. “Um, could you tell me your name?” She asked.

"Yea, I figured it was a forest or something like that, but I dunno, it's kinda weird isn't it? There really aren't that many forest areas around my neighborhood. I'm not really all that sure how I got here in the first place... but anyways, I'm Chloe." She grinned and held out her hand, "What's your name?"

"I am sorry for my rudeness, I know you were not speaking to me." Macheavelli said as she stepped out, from the branches of one of the larger trees. "My name is Macheavelli, And I am thankful the group of you does not seem to hostile to the forest here." Macheavelli said as she walked towars the group in the largish path. "It would upset me most if you all were to destroy my home."

Chloe jumped and spun around to face the newcomer. "You have a beautiful name, is it French? My name's Chloe, I think it's Greek or something like that." She laughed nervously, her lack of human contact the past week making her much more extroverted than usual, "But yea, you live here? Wow, aren't you scared of getting eaten by bears? I'd never destroy a forest or anybody's home... that'd be kinda mean, wouldn't it?"
