I really don't know how to word this message - there is just too much to say. For a while, I've felt I don't exactly fit the definintion of Aspergers Syndrome. There was something different, something missing here or there (What it was, I'm still not sure of). I started reading a book I hadn't looked at in a while, a book about alien abductions and half human half alien children. That book led me to start thinking about something a friend had mentioned a while back, the "Indigo Children", children (or adults) who were highly perceptive and psychic. I started to do a little research on the subject, then, on a whim, added "Aspergers" to my search. The results were amazing, to say the least. Please, look them over yourselves. I'm interested to know if anyone else thinks these match them or someone they know as well.

What Is The Indigo Child?
Is My Child An Indigo? (Quiz)
Are You An Adult Indigo? (Quiz, useful for adults and teens)

Also, I found out about a more highly adapted version of Indigos called Crystal Children.

Are Autistic Children Crystal? (Scroll down to the second letter)
Who Are The Crystal Children?

If anyone else has more information on this or would like to discuss it, please do post!

I did the test on myself... and only got five. I'm not very special. No powers at all, though, it would be very cool if I did.

Also, I don't quite understand the difference between Indigo and Crystal Children. Are Crystal children a kind of Indigo children? Are there other kinds?

Also, all of this seems kind of creepy, especially since the websites seem to lean towards there being an actual God, and he being the Christian one, instead of just being a creator guy in general. Even more odd, I don't really quite believe in a God. It's not something you can prove or disprove, really.

My friend showed me that link as well, we both agreed that it's a mix between kids with ADD and people with Autism/Aspergers

It's an interesting theory, but a little too new agey for me. If somebody were to tell me that I had a mission to help the earth ascend, I'd probably hit them.

They are different. From what I've gathered, Indigos have exsisted since the mid 70's, while Crystals only started appearing around the mid 90's. Also, Crystal Children are more highly developed in their psychic skills and abilities, but they're also more sensitive and more likely to have forms of autism.

There are Star Kids and Star Seeds, but they're a bit different. They're supposedly part Star Vistor (Alien), either by being geneticly engineered by aliens, or having a Star Visitor step into a human body. I don't buy into this idea as much as the idea of Indigos and Crystals.

Quote:
A Star Child may be defined as a child with both human and Star Visitor origin. The Star Visitor contribution to the child's makeup may come from reproductive material, from genetic engineering, from biomedical technology, and from telepathic consciousness linking, as well as from directed incarnation of a Star Visitor into a human body.

I'm just not too sure I believe all this.

People have mentioned to me about the indigos.

People also very decidedly tell me I'm one.

I'm just not too trusting of beliefs. Better with ideas I am.

I seriously have no idea whether I'm an Indigo Child, a Crystal Child, or a Star Kid. I seem to have the characteristics of all three. sweatdrop

Interesting. Those with spiritual/boderline magical abilities isn't news to me, although i don't seem to manifest any powers of my own. I match up with a lot of the questions on the quiz provided, although many of these are quite typical of someone with Aspergers. The only one's I didn't match with were the emotional ones- to the contrary, my emotions are very muted, and are less strong in every direction. I used to have trouble with Rage, but i reigned it in and got it out through constructive outlets.

I think it would be a bad thing if I had any for of psychokinesis or telekinesis much less pyrokinesis.

The first two can be used fpor good things... but I'm of a much too volatile temper.

The later well it's pretty much a volatile temper physical manifested.

I looked into all of this a long while back, although admittedly, info on crystal children is newer. From what I gathered, my opinion, at least for my daughter in the autism spectrum, is that she fits better into the crystal child than the indigo.
I do think that we need a different way of thinking if we are to survive as a species and it is perhaps those among us who are "different" who will be the ones to bring us there. I can't remember the title but I'm certain most of you have heard of the book that was written by a woman with autism. The part I remember,(although vaguely and probably because I don't like the whole scenario), was when she improved the way cows were being lead to slaughter...made their final hours a bit better for them because she realised that the environmental conditions/ a bell ringing, was a large part of their nervousness. She could "see" what was needed when others could not. She couldn't keep the cows from their demise but she could make the transition easier and only she had the inner resources to help. It is thinking like that which will help us greatly in the future...there are already too many people in the world who are reliant on straight angled thought and it gets us no where. Just my long two cents worth.
*disappears silently into the background for another 6 months* Lol.
Hope you are all doing well. smile

I am an Indigochild, I own a guild on them. I dislike online tests though, you can not really say anything from those. You have to know it yourself, not think it.

Oh, also. I remember people telling me that Im Indigo before I even knew about it. I just rejected it, but after that I started to feel that I was. Maybe it sounds kind of stupid sweatdrop

Either way, being an Indigochild is nothing far more superior than any other human. They have hightened senses, often spoken of as "abilities". Which makes it sound so superpowerfull O.o

Its not like that, especially not for teenagers. Most people can not even controll it.
