"We interrupt your current programming with a special report!" Came the voice of the news announcer, accompanied by the "breaking news" station banner as every television channel throughout the lands abruptly switched over to the news report. The reporter appeared on the screen against a backdrop of destruction, waiting for her turn to speak.

"This is Cheryl Trunial reporting to you live from the city of Rialis, where just moments ago disaster struck," began the attractive young woman. "What you see behind me is the site of the attack of a demon many of you have heard of as 'Gruumar'. Early this morning at daybreak, the Gruumar demon found it's way into Rialis and began wreaking havoc on the locals here. Five people are reported dead while dozens of others are now hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. A few lucky individuals did escape with minor or no injuries, however. Here with me now is Randolph Hubbert. Mr Hubbert, you were witness to this morning's tradjedy. Can you describe what you saw for the viewers at home, please?"

Cheryl turned toward Randolph, holding the microphone up to him. The gentleman begins hesitantly, "i-it was terrifying! The thing came from, like, nowhere! I was scared stiff! Well, then it started runnin' on all fours like a dog, right t'wards the crowd... I mean, it was moving real fast like, but they just didn't see it comin'! The abomination just plowed right through them all, knocking some of the folks clear 'cross the street there," he said, pointing behind him, to where the descruction was. The cameraman zoomed in on some of the firefighting crew still on scene clearing up some of the debris, then focused back on Mr Hubbert. "It just kept movin', and then crashed right into the corner store there. Tore the place up real good, too! I couldn't do nothin' but stare..."

Cheryl asked the gentlemen with a concerned look on her face, "what happened next?"

"Oh. Well... The thing come out of the store. Was walkin' upright now. Then it turned t'wards me, and started comin at me. I thought that was gonna be the end for me, but this guy ran out from a nearby store with a rifle and took a couple pot shots at the thing. It turned and hit 'im so hard he must have died instantly! He just kind'a flipped over backwards like a rag-doll and landed a few feet away. His body looked all broken up... Lucky for me, the beast took off back where ever it come from after that."

"Terrible... Just terrible. Thank you Mr Hubbert," Cheryl responded. She turned back towards the camera, "and there you have it. Rialis police are urging concerned citizens not to try to take matters into their own hands. The military, however, has not yet commented on the situation. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all the families of the victims," she said and paused for a moment of silence for the victims.

"Again, this Cheryl Trunial with channel 7 news live in Rialis. We now return you to your scheduled programming."
