Lambda is a Greek letter originally, but now it's this .exe's name. It is a lower case letter for Lambda and carries the value of 30. The .exe herself is like that of an innocent puppy's. Loyal, but fairly naive. She trusts in her owner very much and has a tendency to get clingy at times. When she first meets strangers, she's rather shy about it, staying quiet and reserved. Until she makes friends, she remains this way.
When she interacts with other relatively peaceful .exe's, she's still remains quiet most of the time. However, there are times when she will contribute to the conversation positively. She longs to interact with others despite her overly-loyal personality to her owner. The .exe enjoys playing fetch.
Because she is naive, she will take anything anyone says as the truth. Thus, one must be very careful when joking with her. No matter how absurd things may seem, she is prone to believing them as the truth. This may grow out with time as her owner instructs her more wisely in the ways of life.
When located next to, or near her owner, she enjoys staying by Olivia [her owner]'s side as often as possible. Sometimes to the point of annoyance especially when said person needs some privacy to herself. Most of the time, Lambda enjoys walking with her owner to wherever and most of all, enjoys playing fetch the Frisbee.

Name: Olivia Meinhart Gender: Female Age: 28 Occupation: Computer programmer for a small company Height: 5'5" Weight: 115lbs Appearance: Short, choppy, straight black hair. Dark brown eyes. Tannish skin color. Skinny arms and fingers. Slightly wider body frame from below waist Personality, History, etc: Olivia typically is a carefree individual. She graduated from university a few years ago and landed up a job at a local small company. Majoring in Computer Science/Software Engineering, she works a desk job programming small programs for larger companies to use. Such as visual, easy to use tutorials, simulations, etc. It's a decent paying job with decent benefits, considering it's a small company.
She lived a relatively normal life. Two parents, a sibling or two. Nice little house in a nice little town. Went to school at the normal age and graduated from schools at a normal age. Just an ordinary person. Nothing too special or out standing.
Ever since she started working for the company, her employees would constantly gossip about .exes. No matter how hard management tried to hush up the gossiping hens, her employees would still somehow manage to gossip about .exes and the regular affairs of celebrities. Especially that of the two large companies, Fissure and Firewheel. They, for one reason or another, particularly enjoy gossiping about the young and "handsome" CEO. Most of the time they would all have the latest tabloids news about him. Even the male workers.
Triggered by her curiosity, she decided to venture out to the many .exe vendor shops on her way back home from work. At the beginning, she only window shopped. Browsing through the window for displays of the 3D models. Then eventually, she entered a few shops and spoke with salesmen about them.
Deciding it was probably time to get a little "pet" for her apartment, Olivia continued browsing through shops, hoping to find the "perfect" one. Perfect as in one that was on sale and had pretty colors. She didn't have much, after all. Or rather, she didn't want to overly spend on something she was still rather indecisive about.
Continuing her "quest" to find the perfect one, via innovative technologies she was able to browse online in hopes her quest would end soon. On one of the dealer sites, she saw a newly used one up for grabs. The colors caught her attention, as did the price tag. Hastily grabbing her credit card, she ordered the .exe Lambda and quickly made it into her new pet.

Let's take up some more space while we're at it.
This is a blank post. In case I decide to use it later on for whatever reason. I won't have to move a mountain worth of text.
...Not that I have too many at the moment anyway.

Another Day at the Office
"Diiiinnnggg!" Rang the boisterous alarm clock. An annoyed groan echoed from the depths of the blankets. The human under obviously didn't want to get up immediately and would much rather stay within the comfort zone of those warm, fuzzy blankets. However, she did realize if she didn't get up soon she would have to skip breakfast so she could make it on time for work.
She enjoyed her job, there was no argument over that. Though, she, like many people her age, was displeased with the idea of getting up so early to do anything. The lump rolled onto the side towards the alarm clock, her skinny arms slowly slithering out of the warm blanket mass. As soon as they were exposed to the cooler environment, they quickly slithered back inside. Too cold outside, even if the heat was on.
Barging through the door came Lambda, her large, fluffy tail swishing left and right as she ran into the room. Effortlessly, she jumped onto the bed, surprising her human in an unwelcoming manner. When she landed on her owner, the human quickly reacted by trying to push the heavy mass off of her.
"Ugh! Too heavy! Off, now! Please!" She yelled while continuing her efforts of gently pushing Lambda off.
"But Ollllliiiieeee~ [Olie is Lambda's nickname for Olivia] You'll be late for work if you don't get up within the next 3 minutes so you can catch breakfast, too. I had wheat toast this morning. It tasted good with grape flavored jam!" She nodded her head excitedly.
"Ugh, I know I'll be late. But if you don't get off me soon, I'll have to miss breakfast so I won't be late. Now get off!" She pushed again.
"Fine," The .exe snapped shortly, quickly stepping off to the side so her human could maneuver a little easier.
"Thank you," She replied genuinely, giving Lambda a quick pat on the head with the palm of her hand.
At the pat from the palm, her head tilted toward the hand, hoping for a pet on the head or a scratch under the chin. Though at the very least her tail wagged back and forth on the bed before jumping off to rendezvous with her owner outside the bathroom door.
A finger flicked on the lights as the human girl stared into the mirror, searching for anything unpleasant things on her face. Brief moments later, she found nothing and grabbed her toothbrush from her rinsing cup then went on with her daily rituals. Brushing her teeth, wash her face, get dressed, etc.
Olivia came out of the bathroom looking rather professional while as Lambda was waiting patiently outside the bathroom door. She sat with her back against the wall with her tail curled up around her body frame. Idly, but patiently, she waited for "Olie" to come out of the bathroom so that she could discuss what she saw on the TV this morning as she sat there eating her wheat toast.
The human pulled out one of two chairs at the small table in the kitchen. The TV was already on, thanks to Lambda. As she sat there eating her piece of toast with jam on it while occationally sipping her orange juice, her eyes flickered towards the TV to listen to the latest weather forecast along with the daily news world wide, nation wide and locally. Nothing too interesting. At least she didn't watch crap shows that only show gossip about average "people" who just happened to land at the right place at the right time. [AKA celebrities]
Finishing up her toast and juice, she hurried over to the front door of her apartment while grabbing her keys. "Lambda, don't forget to turn off the TV when you're done, please. I'd hate to pay a higher electric bill than necessary."
"Yes, Olie," She said dismissively, "Have a good day at work."
"I will, you have a good day here, too. And make sure if you go outside to lock the doors. Please, don't do anything stupid while I'm gone like set the apartment complex on fire or anything like that." She said half-jokingly.
"Yes, ma'am. And don't worry, I won't. There aren't any fire hazardous objects in your apartment anyway. No need to worry," Lambda replied light heartedly.
Not soon after her sentence ended, Olivia was already out of the door on her way to work. Her company wasn't too far away from her apartment. A little far in terms of walking distance, but it was cheaper to walk than take a bus anyway. Plus, it was healthy for her. It's good to get some exercise.
"Good morning," She greeted her co-workers as she walked through the door. They, however, obviously weren't listening.
"Did you hear? Oh my gosh!" One of her co-workers, Sandy said surprisingly to another one of her co-workers.
"Yes! Who wouldn't have heard? It was all over the news last night!"
Obviously, Olivia's co-workers were busy at work...gossiping about the latest celebrity gossip. When her co-workers referred to the "news", 94% of the time it was one of those celebrity gossip ones. Not real news. Just fake news for people who prefer to spend [or waste] their time talking about ordinary people who just gets media coverage.
"That...I don't even know what she is. But that's not the point. Anyway, Sumatra or whatever her name is. Just the color of her...fur screams higher class! Such a vivid red!"
"I know! Honestly. And that hat of hers! With those feathers on it. I bet they're real feathers, from a tropical bird or something! Just the way she dresses!"
"I wish if I had fur, I'd have fur like her." Olivia interrupted sarcastically. She was obviously not one to care too much about gossip. Actually, she hated it since all her co-workers discussed was gossip. Nothing that normal people discuss they'd talk about. Like 'Hey, how you doin'? Doing anything this weekend? My son is having a birthday party, want to come with your son since they're such good friends?'. No, it was always the 'Did you hear? Oh my word! So and so did this and that!' 'No way!'. So tedious and annoying.
"So you finally saw last night?" Sandy asked eagerly.
"Of course not! I'd rather waste my time doing something a little more productive. Jesus Christ, don't you guys talk about anything else? How about a normal conversation for once? Like 'Hey, my hubby and I are having a BBQ this weekend. Everyone here is invited. Come if you can.'? Nooo, it's always about that CEO of Firewheel and gossip involving him. God, woman." Olivia snapped instantly.
Sandy flicked her hand dismissively, "Humph, just because you're jealous of our conversations doesn't give you the right to judge us."
Olivia groaned in annoyance, "Yeah, yeah. Think what you want. Go gossip in the lunch room or something. At least don't piss off the manager or she'll take it out on all of us. Especially those who don't deserve it, like myself."
Ignoring Olivia's interjections, her co-workers continued onward with their conversation. "So I can't believe that she knows the CEO of Firewheel! Not just that, but they used to be together!"
"I know! But no wonder why he ended up a CEO of a large company. Even his taste in women are so refined. I wonder if they're still together in private? I mean, in the pictures they showed they seemed to be involved in a rather intimate relationship. Sitting together at a table together for dinner. I wish I was in a relationship with him," She sighed dreamingly, "Then I wouldn't be here and I'd be with him all the time!"
Her fellow co-worker laughed, "As if! Alright, let's get back to work now."
"Ugh, I suddenly remembered why I like the job, but hate some of the people. Gossiping hens are so annoying," Olivia said to herself.
