I'm talking about the old game, Gold and Silver, Red and Blue, the special editions, Yellow and Crystal. Even the old pinball game that had a rumble pack.
Who can remember those?

Man, it was Pokemon Snap and the first Stadium game that got me into their games. Then, I moved up to Blue version, and even Yellow. Old skool = uber.

It almost seems like Diamond/Pearl has too much in it. Like I will never finish it all.

Of course! Though mainly it's me taking my old Pokemon from game to game if it's possisble to do that with what I have. But I adore the old school, although I can't find my Pokemon Blue around.>>

I still remember those!! My first game ever was Pokemon Gold and My first pokemon was Totodile I still remember when he evolved... But I had to give it away. (Long story)
So I'm going to buy it again (Gold) along with Silver or Crystal I don't know which one yet. Probably Crystal, It's going to bring back memories! ^^

I do. I think G/S/C is the best of ALL the games but i still play R/B/Y.

my first game was pokemon Blue and my first pokemon was Charmander heart
and since my first pokemon was charmander I carry on a tradition of ALWAYS choosing the fire starter pokemon, unless I have already beaten the story with it, like, I beat Silver starting with Cyndaquil, and then I beat Crystal with Chikorita as my starter.
The old games were the best!
I don;t even play my diamond version, the story wasn't nearly as fulfilling as the older ones....and I'm not really all that psyched about the new pokemon either.. I just got insanely bored with my Diamond version, so without even beating the elite four, my diamond version just sits in my game case...
