All of this fuss about gay marrage is not only anoying, but pointless, because homosexual marrage is impossible. Yes, I said impossible, and here is why:
Marrage is God's union between a man and a woman. God's union. Yes, the priest is there, but only God can join the two, and make them one. If you read the Bible it talks about, people only being married once, and that if you marry again (while divorced), you are commiting adultry. Why? Because when you marry someone it doesn't matter if you legally divorce the person or not--YOU ARE STILL MARRIED TO THEM, BECAUSE GOD JOINED YOU!!! God said that homosexuality is a sin, and does not marry homosexuals. So people bashing the President, or any humans about homosexual marrage is not only stupid, and anoying, but pointless, because unless God joins the two...THEY ARE NOT MARRIED.

RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE and LEGAL MARRIAGE are two different things. There was a Muslim man who had an Imam pronounce him married with seven women. Did that make him a polygamist? No, because only one of these marriages was legally binding. If a couple can be legally married, then religious figures can stuff their divine decrees somewhere uncomfortable. The marriage certificate doesn't care whether your God/s have consecrated the union or not. STOP BRINGING RELIGION INTO THE LEGAL SYSTEM. The legal system is supposed to be SECULAR.

Valens TrueHeart Dude get ready for some hate mail,But I totally agree good work LOL. well then i'll have to start arguing here too. as i have already posted in the same thread with the same header in the main forum, the laws of the bible have no bearing over those who do not follow it's doctrines. also the current definition of marriage need not include the church at all, marriage can be preformed by the state. also as i have said before by the logic of the first post any married couple who are not christian or were not married under a christian ceremony would thus not be considered maried. that is laughable.

elmon If the Bible is against homosexuality, it should be revised, unlike the rest of the world. the Bible is right, it's the world thats wrong, the Bible is Gods word and God is holy. He never lies. The world is wrong the Bible says "all jave sinned and fall short in the glory of God"

You can say to a Buddhist, "God will punish you for your sinful and heretical views that all religions are a path to God!" and he'll ask your God to bless you and hope you have a good life.
