100 years ago, five people served their King faithfully. Three girls and two boys, each had a different specialty. The girls were a spy/thief and an assassin/thief. The boys were a fighter and a mage. The final girl was a summoner, meaning she summoned creatures to do what she needed. They would have followed their King to the end of the world and have done anything he asked of them.
He sent them on a mission, one of an infinite number they'd performed. Their king sent them to their deaths. They were sent into a trap where those they were sent to kill knew all their weaknesses. The Summoner and Mage were disabled by a silence spell. The fighter's strength was taken and the spy and assassin were overpowered by six strong fighters and all shadows were taken from the room. They were no match in these conditions. All five were tortured for months and killed slowly. All their worst fears were found and applied.
When they finally died, at the same time, their bodies were dumped in a hole and left to rot. Nobody expected what would happen though...

Their dissapearance wasn't noticed. The king's line continued on and currently, there are currently a King and a Queen. They have five children. Each is now the age the Fallen had been when they were killed, and there are three boys and two girls.
The Fallen, as the five have been called, have rose from the dead. They look exactly as they did and never rotted. They sought revenge and have decided to serve the current monarchs before killing them and their children in return for the past King for sending them to their deaths.
It didn't go as planned. Two of the Fallen have managed to be kidnapped. Now, the other three have to save them. Also, two of the Fallen, not nesicarily the same two, have fallen in love with two of the Children and two of the Children with the fallen, though once again the loves don't have to match.
None of the Fallen are the same age and each is a year apart. The youngest is 18 and the oldest 22. The royal children are the same ages, 22 to 18.

Personality: She's louder, obnoxious, and a flirt. That being her normal personality, she can act anyway she needs to in order to be an assassin. She's also claustrophobic.

She is also very forgiving, if she thinks there's something wrong with you, she'll suffer an incredible amount of abuse at your hands trying to get you to talk.

Bio: Kanin loves her brothers, her sisters, and her parents but now and then, she'll sneak out to the forest to stroll around or down to the training grounds to practice martial arts with her friend and instructor in the art.

Powers: ...humans don't have powers... but she knows a lot about spirits, surprisingly accurate but not exactly following folklore lines...
Personality: Yume's a bit morbid, and into the supernatural, but otherwise she's a bubbly sort of person.

Bio: Yume adores her siblings but dislikes her parents, blaming them for the fact she has to be royalty... she often wanders around the forest and shrines near the village, but prefers to avoid people as they treat her oddly, seeing as she's a princess and... well, rather strange when she wants to be, whether it's intentional or not. Two guards shoved Taryn into the call and let her fall to her knees, as she'd been practically dragged this far. Blood trickled down her back from the long furrows left by a whip, crossing old scars and recent wounds. She crawled to the back of the cell and curled up after shifting to a small cat, licking her wounds and slipping into a troubled sleep, dreaming of when she was imprisoned before and was killed.

Aki leaned against the railing on the outer wall, letting the wind blow her hair away from her face. Taryn was gone, now they couldn't follow through with their revenge. They needed the assassin and the other one, though she didn't know who else had been taken yet.

Yume ambled down the path, humming a chant to herself to ward off the spirits of discomfort. She never hummed away sadness. Sadness was one of the most beautiful parts of life, like death... Of course, life was pretty too, but not all the time and death was one beautiful glorious, if painful, moment that would end it all... and then the afterlife... Yume looked forward to finding out what came in the afterlife. Even if it were something dreadful...
Yume began to hum a different chant, beckoning sweet dreams. She was rather sleepy... there was a bamboo grove up ahead where she liked to nap... and it'd been a while since she had a sweet dream... sweet... Yume smiled bemusedly... it'd be nice... and she yawned, and didn't care she wasn't quite to the grove, and lay down and curled into a ball and smiled... yes... sweet... ^^; Sorry; this okay?

Yume snuggled closer to the ground, raising a hand clumsily to cover her sky-turned ear... a voice... calling her the title she cared not about... wasn't part of a sweet dream...

"Fine..." Yume mumbled sleepily, rubbing her eyes. "Barely a moment of rest..." she muttered to herself... "Restless spirits must be playing tricks on me today... gah, and I don't want to chase them away either, so useful when you need to get a move on..." She was aware she was talking to herself now, but Yume didn't much mind people seeing her talk to herself. What was it to them, anyway, if their princess was a little strange...?
