Time: 12:00am
Your Squadron Leader escorts you from the Testing Room and have a round of congratulations on passing the first test walks you out of the Takumi Village Academy. Walking outside you ears are instantly greeted by the sound of many blacksmiths working on weapons in their respective shops that no doubt even supply your village with the vital tool you'll need to survive.
After five minutes of walking you find yourself in front of a large fence with numerous gates. The forest itself looks rather ordinary with it's high reaching trees that bear leaves fully in bloom.
Standing at the Gate entrance is a rather muscular man that has a pair of beautiful swords strapped to his back. His Takumi village forehead protector glistens in the high-noon sun.
"I am Kuno Michiba and I am your instructor for the next part of the Exam in the Forest of Blades. The forest only appears to be like any other, however, do not let looks decieve you. Each tree leaf is as sharp as a sword blade and every blade of grass can piece you as easily as a kunai."
He holds out a tightly wrapped scroll with the Takumi Village crest on it.
"Other Survival Exams have pitted Genin against Genin for a Heaven and Earth scroll but in our Exam has been based off the highly successful program created by the Hidden Shadow, so it is simply a test of Survival. One of these scrolls will be given to each team. Upon opening it your entire team will be teleported to the pre-determined point etched into the scroll. You will have 5 days to return to this gate alive and with all of your teammates. If you do not your Squadron is disqualified from the Exams."
He points to a small hut off to the right of the Gate, "When your team is ready approach that hut and take your Scroll. I wish you all good luck."

Chuunin Exam Test #2 - Survival in the Forest of Blades **YOU ARE TO POST YOUR JOURNAL ENTRIES IN THIS THREAD**
Exam#2 Will Over at: 11:59pm, Sunday May 20th
Pass Reward: 1 Free Character Advancement These include.... - Gain a Bloodline Limit Level - Gain a Jinchuuriki Ability - Gain a Bloodline Limit - Gain a Biju(Become a Jinchuuriki) - Gain expertise in a possessed Talent (Example: Shinobi #1's, Tier 1 Ninjutsu will be bumped up to Tier 3 Ninjutsu)
Objectives: Below I will assign a general area that each Genin team will be teleported too. Just to be safe I will list a location for ALL the current Genin teams, even if they weren't iniatially participating but have decided they want too. In the past we have made you guys move through various areas and fight the Crew members but this year we're going to keep it simple.
Each person on the Squad is to post a "Journal" entry of their experiences in the Forest for the five days. You write about how your character felt, what they did, any battles that they had vs things in the forest or another team(if you already have a long Journal Entry keep the battles brief). Or anything that springs to mind.
IMPORTANT-- Your story does NOT have to match the Journal entries of any of your teammates. For simplicity sake in the Exam you are not obligated to make sure that all of your stories "match". You guys can fist-fight or rock/paper/scissors over who's story is "cannon" about the Exams later xp .
Under each I've also listed what sorts of enemies you will encounter in each area. Some(or all if you choose) of the enemies must be included in your Journal. The stats listed for each "named" Enemy is there for reference in how they stack up against your shinobi, take that into consideration if you add them to the Journal.
Another RFS member and I will discuss each of the entries in the Crew section and will determine whether you pass or fail based on how well written and interesting your Journal it is.
(PS: Be sure to poke your teammates and remind them that the Exam is open to all Genin!!)

If Your Character Is Not Assigned To A Team: Pick one of the areas from above but your character is just in "another part" of that Forest and didn't run into the Team that it's assigned too. But it's in your best interest that if you run into the "Signature" people that you don't attempt to take them on by yourself as they're meant more for a Team to tackle.

((Choosing to opt out the third member of our team due to the fact that hes only posted 2-3 times now and really hasn’t given me anything at all to work with for what his character’s personality is supposed to be like…))
Day 1
Akira and I walked up to the hut and received their scroll then opened it to be greeted by the familiar white flash of light that transported them to a certain part of the forest. I paused for a moment and looked around…it wasn’t the same as the forest within the hidden shadow and he was rather thankful for that, after last year encountering the spider queen he really wouldn’t want to have to end up back in the same situation.
“Hey Akira, There’s a lightning symbol on the scroll…It’s not quite as blunt about it as last year’s scroll so there is no telling exactly…but what do you think we’re going to be up against this time around?” I questioned him, somewhat stumped as to what it might mean but knowing that it would have something to do with electricity…possibly electric type jutsu though he wasn’t entirely sure.
Akira looked to be in a bit of thought for a few moments and gave a witty response which I paid no attention to, as soon as Akira started talking he already knew something about how stupid of a question it was and how much of an idiot he was just by the tone of Akira’s voice.
Man…here We are again…Just me and Akira alone in the woods for the second Exam... his thoughts flashed back a little further into the past where team sharingan was being prepared for the second exam, and about his old team member Raiko…Idiot…why did you have to leave us… It still hurt to think about him but at least I wasn’t overcome by hysterical outbreaks like the time at the restaurant.
His thoughts were interrupted with Akira mentioning that they should begin to look for a good place to setup camp and try to find some water so they began to scout the surrounding areas looking for both water and any clues to what exactly they were supposed to be doing, they failed to find any clues but they were lucky enough to stumble upon a small stream of fresh water that they could drink from but by the time they set up camp it was already dark outside so they decided to get some rest while the opportunity was around, taking turns at guard shifts throughout the night so that they could both get some rest.
Day 2
I yawned lazily as Akira began poking at him to wake up, then sat up and stretched out a bit before rolling out of bed. He had taken the first shift and been sitting on a log for most of it till it was time to shift out, seems Akira shift was just as uneventful but they both figured it was better safe then sorry. They’d both spent so much time yesterday trying to find a suitable place to setup camp that they hadn’t even had time to stop and gather some food so they decided to make that their primary task and keep their strength up. Just a few minutes after walking through the forest Akira came to a stop and pointed at a flock of decent sized birds that seemed to have a good bit of meat on them. I nodded to Akira and pulled out a handful of senbon while Akira pulled out several kunai.
Silently they moved into positions where they would have clear shots of the birds and prepared to strike but just before they did a bolt of lightning crashed through the trees frying 3 of the birds of an instant and grazing a few of the others as they scattered away. Akira and I quickly covered all traces of their presence thinking that their target had spotted them but they quickly realized when the kid came through the trees and collected the birds that he never knew that either of the two was there, he seemed to be upset and was mumbling about lazy bums and something about always having to do the grunt work or some nonsense like that which I couldn’t help but feel the urge to laugh at. Least you don’t get thrown into holes and have fights with crabs…stupid crab battles…and I doubt you have crazy cloaked men with purple nail polish and blood fetishes chasing after you.
Both of us knew instantly that this must be there target realizing that the test was similar to the Hidden Leaf style of it but instead of fighting whichever team they come across they were being pitted against a specific team of genin. They followed the disgruntled genin back to their camp site which seemed to be further up the river and a bit further into the forest then the pair’s camp but for good reason, the dense coverage of plants mixed with the formation of the land provided quite a nice bit of defensive qualities to the base, Akira and I probably would have never found it without this bit of luck. We both snuck around the camp but couldn’t manage to get close enough to hear anything being said so merely memorized the location and the land formation for now to develop a plan before leaving and carrying on with an uneventful day.
Day 3
I prodded at Akira, he had taken the second shift tonight so that Akira could get more rest tonight since he had the longer shift last time.
“Heyyy…sleepy head…get out of bed…we’ve got work to do and only have 3 days left to do it.” I continued to poke at Akira, finally managing to annoy him enough to wake him up, he’d obviously been exhausted from being up so long.
”Whatever baka…honestly…can’t even start to come up with some ideas of a plan on your own?” Akira groaned, rolling out of bed and putting on his shoes and weights as usual.
”Tch…sorry high and mighty, wouldn’t want to come up with something you wouldn’t agree with…besides, we’re outnumbered, we’ll need a strong and solid plan that will take both of us to create if we’re going to take these guys down…”
Akira seemed to agree with him on this point because he didn’t have a witty come back to smite at me with. Most of the day was spent on nothing more then sitting around the log in their camp and carefully planning out the details of the fight and all of the possibilities, they would have to be thoroughly prepared for any situation and didn’t want to try and wing it like last time, they’d barely escaped alive because of that and weren’t about to make the same mistake twice.
Day 4
The day of reckoning…they spent most of it preparing for this and now that the sun was setting it was time to strike. Both Akira and I took one last moment to prepare ourselves mentally then charged into the base, letting out a flurry of senbon myself as a first assault, Seems they noticed us though because the senbon were easily avoided and deflected and a quick counter came, I seemed to have blanked out for a brief moment and when I came back to reality I was…surrounded by water…sinking further into it…I was lost, confused, none of it made sense to me at first, my senses were being overpowered but then the realization hit me…This had to be a genjutsu, it didn’t make any sense otherwise, I bit into my lip, drawing blood and feeling the illusion quickly washing away only to see a foot circled by lightning about to hit me in the face. As the foot connected into my face and sent a shock through my body I smirked a little, a cloud of smoke appearing and disappearing quickly, the genin’s foot planted firmly against a log which had on the side of it, a piece of paper that was fizzling and just about to disappear.
”Boom…” the note went off, creating a large explosion that sent the genin flying back and slamming into a tree, splinters flying in all directions.
Meanwhile Akira was fighting with the one we followed back to the forest, he seemed to be pretty good but Akira clearly had the upper-hand, but it seemed the one performing the genjutsu was about to interrupt. ”Akira! Watch it!” I shouted, pulling on a piece of wire, unleashing a trap of a couple of dozen Senbon flying across the camp, heading towards the genjutsu user. He attempted to dodge but was a bit too slow getting hit by several of the senbon. I wiped the blood from my lip and laughed a little at the payback only to be brought back by Akira, ”BAKA! Pay attention!”
I turned around and saw the Taijutsu using one of them back up and sprinting towards me, his fist surrounded by electricity and pulled back about to strike, only to be stopped in his tracks as Akira sprinted across the camp and dropped down to the ground, kicking up at the genin’s face knowing him back to the ground in a split second. Just a split second later the Ninjutsu user sent a lash of electricity crashing along the ground towards us. ”Persistent bastards!” I cried out as I jumped inbetween Akira and the lightning, forming a quick set of seals as I took in a deep breath of air. “Katon, Ryuuka no Jutsu!” I shouted, exhaling my breath as a stream of powerful flames blasted out, crashing into the lightning causing an explosion sending orange light throughout the camp. Akira then sprinted through the dust before it settled pounding the Ninjutsu user with a series of powerful and quick combinations of attacks, knocking him unconscious.
Knowing they were beat the team quickly jumped to the aid of their fallen ally and each one threw one of his arms over each of their shoulders and quickly carried him off into the forest. I sat down and let out a loud sigh, red]Well…that went fairly well right?”
”Idiot, you almost got pounded by that taijutsu user, We both know you’re no good at taijutsu.”
”Yeah, but I did manage to stop that genjutsu user from getting you, and I managed to pick this up too” I pulled out their scroll from under my cloak, it was still a little dirty but I opened it up and showed to Akira a picture of a large black crow on it. ”See? I’m clearly more loved then you” I smirked at him and put away the scroll then laid down and dozed off for a little bit before waking up to the rising sun, the moon still in the sky Couple more days and it’ll be a full moon…suppose I’ll have to wait till then
Day 5
I yawned as I sat up, seems Akira was waking up at the same time too, he was over near a tree stretching out in preparation for the journey back.
”We need to head that way it seems, Shouldn’t be to far away either since I recognized this river when we entered…best if we get moving now though just incase those Hidden Cloud’s decide they want to try and pay us back for taking over their camp.”
I nodded at him knowing it was a possibility but thankfully It only turned into a jog which lasted about half of the day, coming up to the gates in the early afternoon with the hidden cloud genin we fought waiting already on the other side, their ninjutsu using friend being treated for the injuries we gave him even though they weren’t severe.

((I purposely waited until today, just to put pressure on myself XP)) Swim, Climb, Punch! A Hidden Leaf Endeavor, and the growth of Team 02! Day One:
Upon inspecting our scroll, I began to theorize about what we would face in the forest this time around. The baka was relieved about the lack of spiders and for once didn't bother me while I thought out loud. We began checking the area for any herbs, and then moved on. All was silent. The baka had this childish notion of exploring the forest...I complied. We walked for what seemed hours, but felt like days, without making any progress or finding any food. As it got darker, I got hungrier. The sound of my empty stomach was the last thing I heard tonight. Ancient Go Proverb 1. Your opponent's good move is your good move 2. The opponent's vital point is my vital point Within half an hour we discovered the genjutsu. Since they'll try to ravage our stuff tonight...I'll have to write a fake notebook to trick them with their own tactic. Day 2:
I had that dream again. The one where I'm a monster fit with claws and sharp teeth. Killing everything in my path without worry or reason. When I awoke drenched in my sweat my stomach seemed to have been up for hours asking for food. The baka had the last shift of the night, so he was already awake. He mentioned movement the previous night that sounded like a wild animal. We agreed that I should go after it tonight when we knew it would be up and about, while he watched the camp. After 2 hours of hunting the beast I ran into the campsite with the spoils so suddenly that the baka out of shock threw a senbon with an explosive note rapped around it and trees fell down on top of me, effectively killing me...or at least what they thought was me. Laughter could be heard the rest of the night as someone watched the baka cry through the night. Ancient Go Proverb 1. Win the Stones, Lose the Game 2. Those who are good at winning don't usually fight. Zanzu's insight impressed me. I didn't think he knew that we were under a genjutsu the first night. Nor had I noticed when he broke free of the genjutsu not long after I did. We walked for hours that day to let them believe we were still under the illusion as we tried to gain clues on them. Then they made a mistake and got to near, and I created a plan formulated just for them. Using the cover of night I created Bunshins that moved in different directions just in case I was followed. Eventually the real me captured some meat and created another bunshin that looked like he was also carrying meat. The explosion served as perfect cover as my illusion and I both ran into the camp, they only saw the illusion and couldn't hear the POOF as he entered.
We knew they would
Day 3:Watching my death was quite interesting. The baka's quite the actor I must admit. Step two of our plan commences when our opponents decide to show themselves. I felt quite relaxed today, I suppose playing for keeps has become so natural that I don't view risking my life as much of anything anymore now do I? Does it even matter anymore? They moved to attack, A torrent of lightning came bolting down for Zanzu as a whip of of water moved from his right side with a lightning charged kick aimed for the back of his head. Without giving it a second though I jumped out of the tree I had been using as cover and peformed the Wind Release: Great Ball of Destruction. The lightning strengthened my technique. The baka out of pure stupidity looked up at the pretty ball of wind which turned into a torrent of wind and decided to peform Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu. The Super Charged Wind Strengthened his flames to some powerful new height and it crashed against the ground igniting any explosive notes we had left in the tents and completely decimating the area. When the smoke finally cleared I had a small sense of fear. Not for myself, but the unconscious and useless baka. Sure he had managed to take out the taijutsu user who was near him, but effectively took himself out of the fight. Geez, way too impatient for one little plan. I picked both of them up and carried them as I began to travel away from our former campsite. I wonder when I'll be allowed to sleep. Ancient Go Proverbs 1. Requirements for a go player: the tactic of the soldier, the exactness of the mathematician, the imagination of the artist, the inspiration of the poet, the calm of the philosopher, and the greatest intelligence 2. Look for peace, avoid fighting in an isolated or weak situation Day FourI was not pleased. The plan by military standards could be considered a success. But, the cost was not worth it. The baka awoke at the first sign of light. His injuries had healed quite quickly thanks in part to his body being used to dangerous situations. My captive was unresponsive even as I punched him. No bother out of the five basic torture groups, sharp, hot, cold and loud. Blunt is the most dull. The session resulted in screams, various fluids, and two names. After tightening the rope on my captive, I removed my weights in blind fury and helped the baka up. We had a job to finish. We spent the day using whatever herbes we could muster to help the baka's condition as we knew they would come. I was anxious, and just recently noticed the tracks left by my captive. He's too much of a liability perhaps I should... Ancient Go Proverbs 1. Those interested in impressing others with their intelligence play chess. Those who would settle for being chic play backgammon. Those who wish to become individuals of quality take up Go. 2. Go uses the most elemental materials and concepts -- line and circle, wood and stone, black and white -- combining them with simple rules to generate subtle strategies and complex tactics that stagger the imagination. Day Five:I killed him. His spirit, body, mind they were all nothing now. Or so it would seem to anyone who looked at the body lying tied against a tree. When his two teammates arrived and saw his dead body in shock they ran to try and untie him, until she noticed it. It was just a henge. They had a strategist amongst their midst it seems, but in the end it didn't matter they were caught. The only part that wasn't surrounded by water was were they came from. And thanks to his stealth skills the baka was waiting to block their way out. As I removed the poorly fastened ropes that binded me. I smiled, not out of happines but out of lust for combat and vengeance. These guys while skilled were obviously amateurs who had reached the end of their journey. Before they could react to the flurry of senbon flying at them from Zanzu's side. I ran back and jumped into stream nearby to drag the unconscious captive out. They couldn't attack me with a genjutsu less I let go and drop the kid and let him drown as he was wearing my weights now. They couldn't use a ninjutsu or they may risk harming him. So Zanzu was there only target. Unfortunately they had no idea where he was. Deciding they no longer needed their teammate after half an hour of fighting blind against Zanzu the girl ordered her teammate to place me under a genjutsu. Unforturnately no matter how much chakra he put into it. It wasn't going to happen. I used the boy for cover you see, expecting this I had held a kunai against the hand holding him from beneath the water so they couldn't tell until the genjutsu user was exhausted. Seeing his cue Zanzu jumped into view as I jumped onto shore. Tearing off my targets shirt I tossed him aside and covered the hand that had a kunai dug into it. I charged foward and wrapped the shirt around the girl's rist ensuring she could not run. But most importantly, that she would be forced to fight me one on one with taijutsu. Zanzu dealt with the genjutsu user rather swiftly by countering a pathetic offensive water jutsu with fire and using senbon under the cover of the fog created in the after math of their clash. I decided to play with my prey on the other hand. Her manurisms, speech patterns, movements, height, even beauty, all were taken in to account as I began to discern her tactics. She was good...to good to be taken in by this. If only I realized it earlier. Lightning enshrouded my body as the lightning clone moved through the damp clothes. An explosion could be heard as god knows how many explosive notes that the genjutsu user were ignited and the scroll he carried flew through the air charred. She hadn't come to save her teammate she had come to kill him and effectively us. As my vision dimmed I saw a torrent of lightning move down towards the taijutsu user ending his life. Grabbing the scrolls Zanzu and I made a tactical redeployment from the area. I looked down at the scroll it had a picture of that thing...the beast inside of me. I wanted to say something stupid to Zanzu like "Looks like I'm more loved than you." But I couldn't. While I despise the baka, I love him like a brother. And the thought of killing my teammate...I couldn't comprehend it. For such a crime I wanted more than anything to find the girl and kill her for not even wincing as she killed her teammates. I may be the vessel for a demon, but I am no devil. And yet sometimes I wonder... Akira Hamono: a summary of go The board is a mirror of the mind of the players as the moments pass. Day 1
“Here we go again deadly forest round 2" I mutter as I looked around at my surroundings then down at the scroll. I wasn’t one for tactics and the most tactical person on our team wasn’t competing this time. I thought of what to do the decided to tell frog-boy to move his lazy a** and find us some food. While he did this I trained with standard taijutsu making sure my form was flawless figuring we would have to fight another team at some point and we were already at a disadvantage even if we were experienced.
Frog boy came back with a couple half mutilated rabbits, it wasn’t much but it would be enough. Froggy ate then fell asleep, I couldn’t sleep I had to be prepared for the upcoming trials. I doubt I’d have the sanity left to go through another damned forest after this. Day 2
About two in the morning I thought I heard something but put it off as being the wind and went back to my semi-sleeping state. Six in the morning came and I kicked Kujikeru to wake him up. After much protest and a couple more kicks to the gut he got up and we were off walking.
“Eh bow-tie which way is it to the gate?”Kujikeru asked randomly a couple hours into our days walk.
“s**t, if you wanted to know which direction it was you should have brought a compass. I’m just winging it and hoping I’m going in the right direction.”I responded in a serious tone
“What!? Are you crazy?”He yelled hardly aware of how much his voice was amplified by the silence of the forest.
“I’m joking frog-boy, going into the forest through the gate we would have been going south. Therefore to get to the gate, we must go north and I know which way north is because of the moss growing on the trees.”
That was the end of the conversation, for awhile anyways. A couple hours later he was rambling on about some random s**t that I didn’t pay attention to.
Day 3
Day three and we still haven’t met any opponents, I know that will change though it has to, we can’t get through here without meeting so sort of opponent. Frog-boy insisted we stop and take a break. I couldn’t sit still the whole time we were resting. So instead of resting and sleeping like my lazy-a** ally I did push-ups. When Kujikeru awoke we were walking again, not for long though.
I had sensed them earlier but they had finally revealed themselves at about 4pm on day three. They were a full three man genin cell from the mist. We were out numbered two to three yet I had a wicked smile on my face. Drawing my larger sword from it’s scabbard I motioned with my left hand for one of them to come forward. As the strongest one stepped forward I issued commands like a general would having planned for these odds the first night. “Take out their healer or genjutsu user first.” Kujikeru simply nodded as he took a strangely serious posture and prepared his chain. As I glanced towards Kujikeru my opponent took the opportunity to try and attack me. I rolled out of the way quickly thinking to myself, Lesson one don’t take your eyes off your opponent.
I leapt forward in retaliation slashing wildly grazing his chest. He leapt back and I took the chance to charge chakra into the blade of my sword. He prepared his stance incase I came closer, exactly what I wanted. Releasing the chakra as I swung the sword I ran behind it using it as cover to get closer. He brought his hand’s up to block my technique and then I was in close enough, pulling a explosive tag out I planted it on his arm and rolled behind him heading toward’s the third member of their team seeing Frog-Boy locked in battle with the genjutsu user.
Charging full tilt at this third team member I glanced back as the Taijutsu user noticed the tag all too late as it blew up eliminating his left arm and throwing him against the nearest tree knocking him unconscious. Turning back to my new opponent I fought hand vs. technique for it must have been and hour. Kujikeru noticed my condition and his and suggested we retreat for now. So we quickly ran hoping to get a window of time to regroup in.
Day 4
Our hour long window in which they searched for us was used to bandage and dis-infect what wounds we had. It served well since if they had kept bleeding openly we probably would have fainted. Leave it to me to be the one that stood up and tipped them off to where we were. They came and we fought some more, they then retreated like we had earlier to heal their wounds a bit. It didn’t help too much since we chased them and caught up quicker than they had caught up to us. I swung wildly in the last fight, too wildly as my sword got stuck in the tree and I had to abandon it. Luckily it had been the short one and I still had my larger one, pulling it out I delivered a final slash pushing my opponent back against a tree as they dodged it. I took this chance to deliver a thunderous left hand to their face, surely breaking their nose as the blood gushed from it.
Kujikeru knocked out his opponent and grabbed the scroll they had been carrying. We traveled until we were sure we would be out of the forest before anyone on their team could catch us then sat and took a break.
Day 5
Our “break” took the night of the fourth and the first half of day five, we were so tired. I finally got up onto my feet wounds burning body aching I literally lifted Kujikeru to his feet. “Come on, lazy frog. We’ve got to move or we’ll be late.”
He complained about me waking him up but walked along anyways. The last five hours were spent walking, talking, and retelling our thoughts during our recent fight. About sun down we walked through the gate, just in time.

(( story is going to be late due to massive homework, sorry. PLEASE except it.))
Day one
With a bright flash of light Zenith and I found ourselves in an open area with not a blade of grass. With the training Ibarra had given us both, we would be fine without sleeping for the first day. Zenith quickly lead as we left the open area, not wanting to be out in the open and a willing target. After half the day was spent an isolated area with a perimeter of four trees became ideal place to make camp. Mourning was creeping quick when all preparations and traps were finished around the camp. The next day came and we where not feeling the fatigue of sleepless at all.
Day two
“It looks like the symbol is of the snow village, so I’m guessing we have to take on a few other genin.” Said Zenith without any excitement.
“Best way would to lure one in as bait and then trap the other two, that way we have time to take care of making the time requirement.” Was the answer I gave out.
We talked over the plan, counting every default it had and fixing it. Preparations were made and once day three came along it would be time to test our strategic skills. First thing was to find the snow squad and catch one of them scouting. Not wanting to take the chance of being fatigued during the plan we both took shifts, sleeping 20mins in between shifts.
Day three
Early in the mourning I sent my bugs out to hopefully find the scout but instead he found us. Zenith caught him trying to be sneaky in the corner of his eye. Thinking quickly we both took chase and cornered him against a patch of razor sharp bushes. The snow genin performed a sequence of hand seals, sending a bombardment of ice shards our way. The shards were easily dodge as it seemed both of us out classed the younger genin. Holding him down with my bug jutsu Zenith knocked him unconscious with a large swing of his fan. Our bait was taken back to camp and we set up our plan to finish off the other two. The genin was restrain right in the middle of the four trees, easily seen by anyone who passes. I waited on a higher branch, and zenith a lower one, keeping both of our senses keen.
Day four
TO our surprise the other two genin did not come during the night as we thought they would. They just didn’t come out in the open really. The bugs caught up on their smell, hiding in stealth, figuring out a plan.
“We shouldn’t let them think to long John, send down a clone and give some motivation”
Making a few quick hand seals A clone of John jumped down to the ground, holding a kunai.
“That’s to bad your teammates did not come for you, guess your no use to us anymore” said the clone, leaning in to slice his throat. The clone dispurst in a cloud of black bugs as a kunai went right threw it. We both pulled the string and sent our trap into motion as a uncountable amount of senbon and kunai came flying their way in every direction. Only thing that was heard was mild grunts as most of the senbon and kunai were deflected by a wall of ice. The hidden snow genin charged to protect their ally but one was stopped with a gust of wind sent him flying. The other snow genin fell right into the trap as he found himself being held down with what looked to be rope made of bugs. I jumped down from my former hiding spot and made the genins body go limb with a slice to the throat with a fumma shuriken. It looked as everything was going to well until it seemed the last snow genin was a skillful ninjutsu user. Zenith would send flame and wind at the genin but for some reason it was not having a normal affect on him. Zenith by far outmatched him by speed, being able to dodge almost every attack, just wasn’t able to hit him. Right as my teammate attack I released a large amount of senbon that dug themselves into the lower part of the neck. The genin kept going as he made hand seal after another, but only to be dodged by both of us. Using my last reserve of chakra I was able to restrain him just like the last one. But this time Zenith gave the final blow with the sound of a metal fan against the genins skull. The fight was over and a success, but the rest of the day had to be devoted to resting.
Day five
The final day came along as we both woke from our sleep and looked at the scroll the other squadron carried. Rolling it back up, we left and headed full speed towards the gate. The whole day was spent pushing ourselves to make the time limit, as we where farther in the forest then we thought we where. Towards noon the gate was finally insight, as well as genin being treated for injuries. Other teams had made it out just fine and finished as we had. Walking through the gate we didn’t say a word, as we both were tired and cold hearted people.

((Yeah, kinda same for me...'cept a combo breaker of laziness and sleeping on the floor sweatdrop ))
DAWN OF THE FIRST DAY 120 hours remain...
Dammit why couldn't Shade come with? I mean, I know that he's the only one who passed, but really, dealing with anyone else is just wierd. Because everyone else is wierd. Especially this one, Ty...something. I dunno. People are undeserving of names. Anyways, we got teleported in a very fashionless fashion into the middle of the forest. Ty-Lee started clamoring and punching the air, but I was just fascinated. The entire forest was like it's a sword! If I made some paper out of these trees, could I make a paper shuriken? Could I make a deck of deadly-deadly ninja playing cards? Could I kill people with a royal flush! No, ******** it, that's like something you read in a bad manga... Ty-Nai decided to try to run off without me, so I decided that if I didn't go with, he'd try to abandon me. Though I suppose I do kinda deserve it, but really, a ninja shouldn't gang up in a fight! Still, he seems sore as ever. Oh well, can't please everyone. We ended up making camp under some sorta weeping willow. It made a great umbrella against any kind of sneak attack. Regardless, I stayed up all night as Tyko fell asleep quickly. It was really uneventful, and the sky was boring; we were still close enough to the city for it's smoke to drown out the night sky. I suppose that it's nice to know we're close, but still. It was around three that I woke up Thailand because I heard something. He said it was nothing, but I tihnk i was comething. Not like a raccoon or something, but more like the delicious sound of a cleaver. pparently after that he didn't get much rest, so we decided it would be best to keep moving. This place really confuses me...if this stuff is metal, it must absorb too much heat, yet reflect a lot of sun...I did see a flwoer, though! It was really pretty, and I decided to clip it and take it with. Tanner said it was stupid to take it, that it would slow us down, and as a team, and blahdy blahdy blah, I didn't pay much attention.
DAWN OF THE SECOND DAY 96 hours remain...
I'm tired...like, really tired. But that was gone with a quick drink of the shot-sized coffee I keep on me. I hate coffee, but this stuff's great for energy. We stopped about mid-day because Twain found a forehead protector. It was a Rain Nin's, but it was sheered in half. it was near a streem, so we decided to stay away from the water. It was probably some sorta water ninja that done the owner in. Even an idiot coulda told. We now moved with reckless abandon. Even as night fell, we continued to run. I didn't care, but Tan might have. I offered him a coffee-shot, but he neglected it saying that it would 'cloud and delude him' or something. I miss Shade-tan.
DAWN OF THE THIRD DAY 72 hours remain...
We had to stop to get some water, sadly. We were parched, and coffee just isn't enough for the body. We were wary of whether or not to get any, but if was necessary. Teeny got out a little metal tub and started boiling some water while I jumped in. My hair was a mess. More than usual. Like, seriously. Still, the water didn't help. It was murky and dirty, probably more of a sign that we were closer to the city. Even after being rocessed, it still tasted like feet sweat. I had to force it down, and depite that Ki was trying to look cool, you oculd easily tell he could barely stand it. Actually, it kinda tasted as good as coffee, so I suppose it was I who had the upper edge! Either way, we went off again. We were getting close, mostly due to our lack of rest.
DAWN OF THE FOURTH DAY 48 hours remain...
We're nearly out! I can see the smoke stacks all ready, though they're not much more than a pin right now. Tysoul was really tired, and we were nearly gonna fall asleep walking. And we actually did! Musta been out for nearly eight hours, and when we awoke, we were in some sort of perverted bondage circle. These three funny looking guys stood around us an laughed as we awoke. They kept heckling us, like we were idiots for not pacing ourselves. Apparently these three were the ones who took out that Rain kid, whoever it was. We were also relieved of our effects. I myself didn't feel like sitting through this bull s**t, so I shifted my arm up and sent a few chains out which cut the rope. After that, all hell broke loose. It was two on three, so we didn't stand much a chance. The only problem for them was the fact that their third was a complete and utter failure. I whipped some chains at her face, and she went down long enough for Tin to grab our stuff. The p***y one just kinda broke down and started crying, while the other two, in some sorta stupid love triangly thing, started bickering about who'd save her. Man, what a bunch of wierdos. Luckily, though, me and Tai knew that these were idiots, uncapable of killing anyone. I didn't feel much like getting blood on me, so I just shot some chains up into thye canopy. A strong wind blew, and a storm of razor sharp leaves fell to the earth. They jumped around like monkeys, and we laughed easily at them. Tisl caught on a rammed his fist into the tree, which made the apparently breittle structure fall right on the enemy camp. Oh man, we ran away with our ribs held from over laughing as we took their water and left them for dead.
DAWN OF THE LAST DAY 24 hours remain...
We actully made it back just around day break. Shmion wondered why we were in our boxers, but we had had too much fun to tell him why just yet. Shade sighed at us and pretended not to know us.
