And by show, I'm referring to the play. To be honest, I saw the play first, and that's what blew me away. I saw the movie after. I dunno, the play seems to have that, I don't know, factor of realism, like, it's happening right there in front of you kinda thing. Am I making ANY sense for what it's worth? When I went to the see the play the third time, which was the last night it was showing, I got a picture (after briefly communicatng with him via email) with th actor, Adam Brazier (hoooottiiiiiiiieeeee) who played frank! It was amazing...*sigh* Anyways, who else has seen the play?

Unfortunately I've never gotten to see the play. crying But I understand what you mean about the realism. I'm in my school's drama club and when you see a play live it's so....amazing. It's like you're there taking the journey with the characters.

Ahh the play was amazing. I got to see the early version, because my dad said the second showing was sold out. However when the play was over, we were told they still had tickets for the midnight showing so we stayed for thatXD. So I saw it twice in one day yesh!!! Me with Rocky: Then the whole group of us there: And second showing: Guy who took my 'virginity'(Purple Sparkles): Other pictures: http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e26/Luv_catz/RHPS/

i saw the movie first. well, obviously, since i'v never seen the play. i really want to, though, and i have been watching to see if it's coming to any of the local play houses...
but about seeing something live being way more 'real' than on the movie... it is so incredibly true. RENT is one of my all time favorite movies, and when i saw the play last summer at the pantages theater (in hollywood) i was blown away. it was really amazing.

Whats awsome about the play too is nothing is the same twice, and sometimes people muck up... (like at one I went to, every time they turned on the 'moniter' it would show footage of janet having sex or Rocky running down the street...
Well instead of them showing Rocky running down the street like they were suppose to, they accidently showed Janet having sex, and to cover it up they had Frankie run out of no where, hit the monitor until the right movie came on, then he ran out again. XD. Was awsome.

I saw the movie first and the play second. I find the play much better than the movie.

Adam Brazier?! <3 If you go through his Guestbook, I'm the "Lauren" from whenever there's a post from "Katie, Anne, and Lauren". xD We e-mail him pretty darn frequently. lol. He was fantabulous.
@my-beagle-rox-my-sox: Did you see it at Bluma, or what? Cos we had them too. And we were sitting in the very front row and they pretty much went craaazy.

So. When I went to see the show, Adam Brazier was our dear Sweet Transevestite. I have been stalking him ever since. And tonight he's doing a CD release thing at the Resevoir Lounge. ;D Guess who's going? Oh yeah.
It's just too bad I only got to see the show once while it was on here. And I was AWAY IN CHICAGO during the first week of May when it was extended. D: But this, THIS is my luck coming back to me.
