I've been writing fan fiction on and off for a few years, though only recently has any of it turned out decent.

It may be a more 'kiddy' thing to do, but I like writing Pokemon fanfiction the most; really no other series has captured my interest as strongly. That, and I really get fed up with how the official anime turns such a great concept into such dribble. I do have more works completed, but let's just say that they're a bit higher rated than ff.net allows... And so far it seems that I'm quite alone in this particual fandom guild wise...*shrugs* solitude is something I've gotten used to.
In any case, that's about all that can be said about my works.
Edit: It must have slipped my mind...well, and I really have no idea what to say *nervous laugh*. Really, most of what I write is one-shot, but they all tie into the main storyline one way or another. I am curious to know what anyone thinks of it, so please read and review any that strike your fancy.
I'm going to stop now before what little credability I have goes up in a cloud of sand...

Edit: Okay, I finally got my head out of a very dark place and back on straight. If anyone here remembers my whine-fest, I finally got over myself and started back on a better track. My opinions of Fanfiction.net are still low, but it seems wiser to put them aside and move forward, rather than let them control me.
Currently, my work is in a bit of a tail spin as I was lucky enough to pick up a damn good beta reader. So, in celebration of that I've started trying to repost on Ff.net...that, and I figure why not just make a second home away from home there?

Funny isn't it? No matter how this guild grows it appears I'm the only one who writes in the *rolls eyes* kiddy Pokemon fandom. Guess it really is true what I say; "though I may spend my life around others, I always walk alone." No matter, can't let a minor lack of similar minded writers be a downer now can I?

I know just what you mean; I seem to be the only one in this guild who writes Digimon fanfiction. Take solace in the fact that at least you're not the only one writing in a 'kiddy fandom' sweatdrop

Take solace in the fact that at least you're not the only one writing in a 'kiddy fandom' sweatdrop I guess Naruto, Harry Potter and Bleach being flavors of the month combined with the younger 'junk' writers flooding to our respective fields is all but killing the possibility of being taken serious.

I don't know. Anomaly doesn't seem kiddy to me. It's not the fandom that's bad, it's the authors who'd polute it.

It's still a rarity, especially here. But...knowing that some at least are willing to give such an abused fandom a chance is a nice thing to find.
Edit: the difference is that you write in the Pokemon fandom along with a few others, where as my sole interest is within one. I suppose that doesn't make a difference, but we still walk two different roads.

Well, crap. For all my griping and moaning, I started posting on ff.net again. It's going to be a while before all of it is up, but I'm getting there. Oh, and I picked up a beta, which helps immensely. Thanks Shattered, for all the help you've provided so far.
