I play as Samus, the heartless one, the devourer of your mortal soul, and... well, she's got missles. Using the Phantom Missle, and Morph ball juggle, I make one intimidating opponent. Though I lack Wave Dash skills and the Super Shield, I make up for it with my unique style of fighting. Use this forum to state your favorite character and some techniques that you know. Please go ahead and share glitches, but please don't say something that's not in the game. Such as the characters: Toad, Sonic, Tails, or things of the like.

Well, I can't argue that Peach is definitely an awesome character, she has the power to redirect any attack in the game with her regular B technique. Not to mention her evasive and recovery abilities that are insanely easy to use. Unfortunately though, I certainly cannot agree to characters like Toad and Sonic characters.
When people play SSBM, they can use a program called Action Replay that is an advanced version of most cheat software. It literally reprograms the game so certain things can be done such as a Toad character. Any picture on the net is also easily edited with any type of photoshop one can imagine.
A different example of a game using Action Replay is Kingdom Hearts 2. With this software, you can play as Mickey instead of Sora in the worlds and even use Forms in the Sephiroth battles.

The last reason why is because it wasn't in the Nintendo Official Player's guide. I'm pretty sure that no company would leave out important things such as secret characters without even giving a hint that they exist. Otherwise people would think twice about buying an incomplete guide.
It's no one's fault that they believe these and you're free to try them out, but I just want to save people the wasted time and effort. If any of these pseudo characters do exist, then they would be unofficial and unusable in tournaments. So please don't blog this thread with secret characters that shouldn't have been in the game, please keep it to strategies and help on any problems you may have.

BTW: Share any glitches you'd like, I know plenty of them that can kill in one hit... TRAPBOX!!!

My friends and I managed to make it once. It was beautiful.

I just play Link, Marth, or Ganondorf, because they're pretty.

I can't wait to see how Snake is going to kick a**. I'm really glad they brought him in. I was a bit disappointed when they announced that Frank Jaeger (Cyborg Ninja) from MGS1 was an assist trophy, but I heard a rumor that young Frank may be a playable character. Other then this, I kick a** with Mr. Game and DK.

I've only played Melee once, but on regular smash brothers I love playing Kirby.. I also hate Pikachu. I want to carve up his yellow... I mean.. He's Great!

I think.... I always played Peach, but maybe I'm wrong. I didn't play it that often, as it was on a friends game system, and I'm more of a watcher than player. 3nodding
