Well 2 weeks ago I got my lip pierced on the left side..
I clean it like I should be and what not but..
it like oozes this crap (I don't notice it until its hardened.. its kind of like a golden brown scab over my ring and the hole)
Its been doing that since 2 days after I got my lip done.

It hasn't stopped either.. and the skin around my piercing is really tender and red..

maybe its normal? I doubt it because all of my friends who have had there lips done said that never happened to them..

crying I just don't want to like have it get infected (lord knows it probably already is.) just seriously I need some hardcore advice about what I should do.

if you need any more info, I'll be happy to share it with you.
I tried to contact one of the people that the sticky says to contact for info but I have yet to get any sort of response, which is why I'm making this thread.

Well, I was told to clean it with poroxide 3 times a day
and to wash my mouth out with listerine everytime I consume anything that isnt water..

So far ive been told
"WTF poroxide?!, your not supposed to use that on a piercing!"
"Use sea salt solution"
so..
I stopped using poroxide as of today and i soaked it in sea salt solution and seriously.. after 1 soak my lip feels 50x better

NOOO!! A PIERCER told you to use peroxide?? NO! And sea salt is good to soak 1-2 times a day, but it does not clean it, it just helps speed up healing. Clean it on the outside 3 times a day with Dial soap and a Q-tip. Then use the sea salt once it is cleaned. Try 2 times a day with that, but if it dries out to much, cut it down to once a day or less. And cut the listerine with water 50/50, straight stuff is to harsh.
