This is a description of the Dream Lands. The Dream Lands are like the junk yards of the psyche. Every myth that goes unbelieved, every myth that falls to the wayside, every dream that seems important and more than real but fades away all fall into the dream land. Because of this, the souls of humans follow their dreams into that realm once their bodies fail them. The dream world is the receptical of a billion billion dreams or myths from the point humans only grunted and some say the impossible tasks that are possible in dreams are syphoned from the dream world to create human magic. Is that true? Well in game terms yes. The dreams of people create the spells of mages. Now to the interesting parts. In dreams most people see from the perspective of themselves and since our subconcious has sway then ourselves are just weak players in the dream world. Powerful people have always seen themselves as powerful and the world as their toy so their dream selves are able to do amazing things in the dream world. These dream shadows of powerful people are called Eidolon, truth be told lesser people have Eidolon too but who'll notice the shoeshiner in the shape of a shoeshiner? The true Eidolon are self aware, powerful reflections of the most powerful people who've ever existed. The most powerful Eidolon is named Night. He rules the Dream Lands and no one knows who's reflection he is only that he is cold and hard and capable of magic that even in the dream lands seems godlike.

(the dream lands chronicle will begin when people pass from the barracks into the dream lands. this will require a group of people to recite together the dream lands spell found in the library so please visit the library and learn to quote a full stanza of the spell.)

Lupin looked around as she stepped within this new dimension, and was relieved that this was no land of nightmares. However, she felt that all was not what it seemed to be, and she kept her guard up none the less. Hopefully, they would meet no trouble here.

Ratholin stepped into the tall dark grass next to his friends and looked towards the tall dark mountains. "past those mountains is where we need to be. Is everyone ready?"

Starts across the long plain of waist high grass. Myst seems to hear the grass laugh sinisterly. The grass seems to part of in front of Zel. Nettles keep grasping at Lupin's bag and pants cuffs.

Zel had gotten rid of the blanket and now walked absently through the long grass. None of it seemed to bug her. She didn't feel cold anymore but still kept thinking about the repeating dream, different in one way or another. A small stream of blood escaped her arm and froze, she kept dieing in her dream and it seemed realistic, she could even feel the pain sometimes.

"All right," she replied easily. Long treks did not bother her - she had spent months at a time walking from town to town after all. Two weeks would not bother her in the least. Suddenly, something seemed to bother her, and she looked to her right. She could have sworn she heard something growl, and she was certain that there was another creature here if her kitsune senses were correct... but she was not take any chances worrying her comrades if she was wrong.

"Dream wolf. Pretty common in the Dream Lands. Wolves are one of the most mythologized and dreamt of animals."
Suddenly the tall grass ends and miles of what look like manicured lawn spread out in front of everyone. Myst gets a sense of calm from the ground. Zel and Lupin's incredible hearing pick up the sounds of groundsquirrels and crickets. The last blades of grass and tall nettles try to cling to Lupin's clothes and bag.

Lupin glared at the nettles and saw that behind them was the field that they were traveling in. Looking to the manicured lawn and back to the wild field, a sense of uneasiness came over her. It was worse than the wolf - she felt somewhat if a kinship towards it, being a fox in a sense, and half wanted to go back into the nettle-filled field.

"Sir... is the scenery of this world supposed to change so suddenly? Something does not feel right about this field. To be frank, I rather dislike it." Looking over to Zel, she noticed how out of it her friend still seemed, and stepped closer to her out of protectiveness. "Are you all right Zel? Your health has been declining ever since..." she stopped, not wanting to upset her friend with reliving that event.
