So, since the rp is sorta kinda taking off, I thought we could have this thread in which you post interesting facts, and important dates in the marauders lives.
I WOULD go to the HP-lexicon, as Kat so helpfully suggested - for she IS the epitome of helpful - but I'm just too damn lazy. Oh, and this way everyone can have the same amount of knowledge.
And yes, we COULD all just go to the lexicon, but I'm trying to get to the second page. Throw me a fricken bone.

Interesting facts about the Marauders...?
The fact is, not too much is known about them in canon. For a fairly good interpretation of what might have happened, though, I always recommend La Reine Noire's Be All My Secrets Remembered - it's only canon-compatible up to OotP in some respects, but incorporates HBP canon wherever possible.
I'll think of interesting factoids and such and get back to you all.

What interests me is that I always imagined Lily with long hair, but it states in OotP that her hair is shoulder-length. That gives me a completely different mental image.

Really? Hm. I always pictured her with wavy red hair that ended... somewhere along her mid-back area. Past her shoulders, anyhow. Now that you say she has shoulder-length hair, I have to cut the beautiful hair that I have in my head and I really don't wanna... *sigh* I'll just be in denial. SHE'S GOT LONG HAIR, DAMNIT!

It's supposed to be thick, red and shoulder-length. I think it's quite nice, actually, just completely different from what I had originally imagined.

If I dyed my hair red I'd have Lily hair! Just throwing that out there.

With my hair curly it goes to my shoulders. And it's thick... Not red though. Not yet.

You know, I think I'm going to continue to imagine Lily the way she was. I like it better that way, screw canon. There's a lot of things in the series where I do that. Like... ignoring HBP in favor of... anything else.

Screw whatever the books says... it's your imagination that counts! Lily has long hair, Fenrir Greyback can be hot, and Filch is actually a woman in disguise. LET YOUR IMAGINATION GO WILD!
