The central meeting place of the shinigami, at the heart of Seireitei. Both in means of protection, and placement, this is the headquarters of the top shinigami who take orders directly from the Captain-Commander, as well as from Central 46. This is far below Sokyoku hill, where the Senzaikyu lies.

Kaosu wheezed, he had ran almost half of the Soul Society. He kept running, though. It was urgent, important, life threatening. He ignored guard members as, seemingly, a boisterous student was running straight for Captain-General Yamamoto Genryuusai's 1st Division building. Two guards, obviously out of Kaosu's league, halted him by standing in his way.
"What business you do you have with the Captain-General?" They both said, in unison. Kaosu would have found it funny if it had been in any other situation. But not now. "I need...to speak...to Yamamoto Genryuusai...urgent...ryoka...fighting...death." The guards looked at him awkwardly, not getting his message. Kaosu, angered at their apparent incompetence, yelled. "THERE ARE RYOKA HERE, CAPTAIN-CLASS, AND THEY ARE THREATENING TO KILL EVERY FRIGGIN' ONE OF US!" He realized his voice traveled. Everyone around him stopped and stared at him.
Behind the door, he heard a cough. Then, almost whisperingly, "Let him in." The guards nodded, opening the doors, letting Kaosu inside. It was almost antique, to say the least. Everything looked two hundred years old, and breakable. Trying to not even move air around anything, Kaosu slowly and meticulously made his way to where Yamamoto sat.
The old man, even when relaxed as now looked as stern as if planning the end of the world. "What is it you want? I heard a lot of commotion outside." Kaosu remained standing, and bowed. "Captain-General, I am academy student Kaosu Ranmyaku and I am reporting three or more captain-level ryoka that have entered the Soul Society. They have threatened to kill us all." His knees faltered, and his shaking was visible. Though the man was doing nothing, it felt as if his presence was pressing down on Kaosu. "A-and someone named...uh...Shinrei has made contact with one of them. Ugu told me to tell you that he has returned." Kaosu couldn't tell, but Yamamoto seemed, a little different. Like this was amazing news. "I think the person heading this was named Chimitsu Kikyou. She attacked and heavily injured my friend Tsai Lin as a warning."
Kaosu let out a deep breath, unknowing he was actually holding it. "A-and, sir, I was told to tell you to prepare a mass funeral." He saw the wrinkled face nod, and Kaosu smiled inside. His message went across, hopefully. He had helped that new kid, Rikatsu, hit the nail on the head. This was both exciting, but frightening on so many levels.
He continued standing, shaking, waiting for the man's reply. Finally it came. "You may leave." It was simple, and Kaosu followed it to a T. He walked out, and sat down on the stairs, and began visibly shaking. It was horrid. He knew he wasn't the right man for the job...he knew he wasn't. It was a mistake. The captain-general probably thought that he was joking. Joking. All because of him...

All of a sudden, ringing loud and clear, clanging bells sounded all throughout the large Society. Immediately following, a message of warning. "WARNING, THIS IS CAPTAIN-GENERAL YAMAMOTO GENRYUSAI SPEAKING. THREE CAPTAIN-CLASS RYOKA HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED IN THE WALLS OF THE SOUL SOCIETY. PLEASE HIDE YOURSELVES IN YOUR DESIGNATED AREAS. SHINIGAMI, REPORT TO HEADQUARTERS IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. SHINIGAMI STUDENTS, RESPOND AS WELL."
Kaosu grinned, and jumped up. He had did it. Then, quickly, the joy fled away. Oh no...this is war. Death and...death. I like that stuff...right? Then, he thought back to Tsai. For Tsai, then. I'll help, maybe regale my stories of heroism to him. Make him jealous.

Ran made her way to this area as quickly as humanly possible, quick as that can possibly be, that is. She's leaning back against a wall, her chest heaving from the exertion of running.
The sight of flames still flickered in her head. She's just outside all of the offices, waiting. She'd heard the call, and reported, as ordered. She fell forward after a minute, rolling from her knees, over onto her back, staring skyward. She was tired, and deserved a minor break. Her body was aching from being in that reiatsu field.
"Damn.." just softly uttered, as she closed her eyes, and waited for further instructions.

Kaosu, noting all the fluttering of black robes that just seem to blink into existence, found only one familiar face. He shrugged and walked over, trying to ignore the incessant ringing.
"Hey, Ran." He said, walking over to her. "Kinda freaky, ain't it?" He wasn't smiling like normal. He could tell a serious situation from anything else. Everyone else was tense; like their lives were on the line. They very well could have been. "It's almost..." He paused, feeling a woosh of air right in front of his face. Ignorant, 'holier-than-thou' shinigami no doubt. "...Surreal, isn't it?

Raven was running forwards as fast as he could, he wasn't sure if Aichou had followed or not, but he had to rudely leave after the alarm had been set. Pitty...he was starting to truely enjoy their convorsation. He smirked to himself, she was far too odd for him though, she seemed more of the kind who would rip out your heart and take a bite out of it...rather then the type to make friends or love someone. He laughed at the thought of Aichou settling down with someone and he shook his head, that thought was far too paculiar to ever happen. He just ran, pumping his legs, he had come from the dorms, where him and Aichou, coincidentally had just been talking about the hell-spawn shinigami. He shook his head as he arrived and he was breathing heavily as he looked at Kaosu.
"Hey!" He yelled out, waving franticly at him. "How are you??" He asked, wondering if Kaosu had been attacked or something yet. With the crazed enemies about, that he doubted he could stand up to....he was ever so slightly afraid for the first time in a long time. He looked deep into Kaosu's eyes and he smiled as he took a deep breath, well....it would seem it was the start of a new little adventure. In the back of his head...as he thought of these guys...each of his death symbols on his body began to franticly itch, as if they wanted oh so wonderfully to switch around....and align themselves to bring out his full potencial of darkness. His true bloodlust. But he continued to smile, playing it off like he was fine, and knowing that he could contain them from moving upon their own free will. As long as he stayed out of the third stage, they would not be able to overpower him. "So...what now?" He asked.

She lifted her head from where she lay, and her eyes were clouded, shadowed, almost.
"I watched it, Kaosu. I watched 'im take out a house. I was trapped by 'is reiatsu. I couldn't move. It was more than surreal. I ain't never been scared a day in m'life. But I was... there ain't words," for the young woman to say that, with her current level of strength already a step above most everyone else, it was quite terrifying. She was still trembling just slightly, and she looked as if she'd run a marathon.
Slowly, she hauled herself up off the ground, only to stagger forward just slightly, one hand gripping at her shoulder, as if to reach further, where the mark under her haori stung into her flesh.
"I wonder what Captain-commander will order us to do. I mean, we're only students. We're still stronger than the citizens of Rukongai, but most of us haven't even passed Kidou training yet," shaking her head, she leaned back as best she could, eyes taking in both Raven, and Kaosu.

Kaosu shrugged, sinking down to the ground. "I-I don't know. This first started when...when they attacked Tsai. He's...not doing so well." You could tell Kaosu was concerned. "And...I think..." He actually said it. Out loud. "I think I'm afraid. Considering what they've done already, there's reason to. I...I don't stand a chance. It's like my world just got pulled out from under me and now I'm forced to fight. Fighting without something to stand on."
Then, Kaosu looked up at Haro. "Now...we wait for the Captain General. We wait to see what he wants us to do. Then, we do it. Unquestioningly." Then, he smiled. "But when have we ever done what we were supposed to, eh Haro?" It was scary, but that was what fun was about. And maybe, just maybe, he might fight one of these strong people. Sure, he'd get killed, but it would be worth it to die in glory.

A small 5'3 child-like shinigami shunpous into the area with a yo-yo in his left hand. He plays with it for a bit, waiting to see if any of his colleagues were in the area. "Three ryokas eh?" he muttered as he began walking around the area observing the shinigami that were here. The lot of them were mostly students.
"If Yamamoto thinks gathering all the shinigami up and sending them to attack the ryokas that have recently appeared will work, he must have gone mad or something, their reiatsu is totally out of the league of the regular shinigami, let alone the students," he continued as flicked his wrist to spin his yo-yo.

And her voice cuts through the air, where she's leaning against a wall..got there quiet as usual..damnable woman, that Aichou..
"Actually, I think he's going to tell the stuents what to do in an emergency situation like this. It's good training to teach them to do what the ******** they're told and not run around like chickens with their heads cut off. To be honest, more than likely it's going to fall to us to kill the ryoka, while the other lesser shinigami sit around and guard the main areas of the court. Old Man Yama has this thing about not wanting creepers from Hell wandering his pure court. Can't say I blame him. Last time this happened, it.."
She flicks her eyes over to Ran then..and stops talking about it..
"Anyway, I could feel this guy's level of skill. He has a ton of reiatsu, but he's not anywhere near captain level in skill. He's not refined enough. But geezus, he's got so much reiatsu he's leaking it like an ocean.."

"Yeah, I can feel it too, I think most of us trained shinigami are able to feel it, I mean who couldn't? It's so large and is flowing out at an alarming rate," Nagi replied. "Well, I just want to get this over with and go home, enjoy some tea and read. We'll also avoid casualties to our side if this is done quickly.
...I've heard we've already suffered one a few hours ago," he flicked his wrist again, dropping the yo-yo down and catching it as it came up. He was silent for a few seconds. "A noble so I heard..."
"Well enough with the chit-chat," he paused as he caught his yo-yo and put it into his pocket. "I want to go and see these ryokas myself after this meeting," he said as he smacked the palm of his hand against the fist of the other.

"Tsai is in the medical ward?" this was news to her, but then, she'd been out wandering the districts since she'd last fought with Aichou. She'd been confused, upset, and then, nothing. She'd been resting in her own bed. All of this still made her scratch her head and go 'huh?'.
"I'm willin' to do whatever Cap'n-Commander says, I dunno about you all, but I got's a liken for m'head on m'shoulders," she glanced from the two near her, to the younger child, and then to Aichou.
"The last time it happened.. what?" curiousity, as she leaned forward, the burn of her mark getting worse, her back arching as she mumbled beneath her breath, before pushing to stand.
"What happened, Aichou-sensi?" she moved forward, her brown eyes clouded under her dark hair, as it fell forward to half-cover her face. "Tell us. It could be important."
--------
The woman that just sort of appeared next to Aichou, bore a striking resemblance to Miyoko-sensei, but her face was set in harder lines, there was no smile in her face, and she wore her zanpaktou across her back, rather than at her side. The speed she moved at was damn near incomprehensible, and she was frowning.
"Nagi. You talk to much," Hiren's reply to the other teacher, before she tapped Aichou on the shoulder.
"We may be sent out to handle this. I'm going on ahead. Yama's orders," and she seemed to step sideways, and was gone, next spotted up one one of the walls of the headquarters.
"Don't wait up for me," a grin over her shoulder, before she was darting off through the streets of Seireitei, headed for the North Gate.
--------
Meanwhile, Miyoko and Korin were up near the head of the gathering, working to keep the students orderly, and barking orders to the shinigami. Everyone would need to be a little more quiet. After all, it wasn't often there was a threat of this size. If the sensei' knew Yamamoto the way they thought they did.. The gates of Seireitei would soon be closing.

"The last time it happened, there was trouble. It got quashed though, before anybody really heard about it. It was handled carefully and quietly. This time though, the enemy ANNOUNCED itself with a foghorn, and there's no ignoring or denying that. This isn't like last time. This isn't a couple of escapees, this is an incursion. This guy wants to be seen. He's full of himself. You can tell just by the reiatsu he's giving off."
She frowns, and closes her eyes..then quickly opens them.
"There's another one. I felt it, just now..it's faint, he or she is hiding..but..I can't mistake that feeling."

"Eh? Why you!? Hiren get back here! I'll show you a thing or two!" Nagi shouted before Hiren darted off. "That's it when's this meeting starting?" he jumped into the air twice, his zampakuto which was strapped to the back of his sash was bobbling up and down as he did this.
Nagi stopped as Aichou closes her eyes. "It may be faint but it's large enough that people like us can feel it, even if it's for a split second, we may have to split up to deal with them it seems Aichou".

Ran looked back and forth from teacher to teacher, before her head turned, and she looked toward the beginning of the assembly. They were just waiting now, for Cap'n Commander. It was all anyone could do, except the teacher who just left, apparently she had already been dispatched.
