Kro got out of the car adjusting to the light it was a few second before he saw the huge manor that stood in front of him. He wasn't impressed but it was big all the same. He looked back to her and said "I've seen better."

"Yes, I'm sure you have seen better. It isn't that grand, but you will have to deal with it" she snapped. "Come." She tugged on his leash lightly and lead him into the manor. "Your room is upstairs to the right. It leads to your bathroom. You are not to go in any of my rooms or the basement unless I say you can. You can go get settled in your room, and I shall call you when I want dinner."

Kro walked up the stairs and headed into his room. His last Mistress chained him to the wall outside her room and he had to sleep there. "Much better," he said his wings tried to stretch involuntarily and they started to bleed again. He sighed because they would heal a** soon as they calm down. And he was right just as before the last feather was replaced and it stopped bleeding. "I can't make dinner," Kro said aloud as what she said registered.

Brianna didn't hear him and walked upstairs went into her bathroom. She filled the bathtub with hot water and layed down in it, relaxing. She picked up a book that was on the floor next to the tub titled "Hyperspace" and began to read it.

Kro couldn't sleep in this new strange place. Kro saw a lamp on the table next to him and got an idea. He knocked the lamp on the ground and it made a thud and broke. He stood still for a few seconds waiting to see if sure heard. He reached to the ground and grabbed a large shared of glass that had broken. He reached to his back and started to saw at the rope that held his wings. He broke one side and then the other. He stretched them to there full length of 12 feet and left them there for a few minutes.

She heard a thud but shrugged it off as nothing and continued to take her bath. A few minutes later she got out and went into her room, putting on a short, plain blue dress. She walked into his room. "Ok, I'm all done with my bath. I want di.." she noticed the lamp on the floor. "What happend here?" she asked angerly.

Kro turned his head to her and stretched his wings again and said "You tuke to long," he said with a lethally quiet chuckle. He tucked one back behind his back and scooped up the lamp shards with the other. He tossed them into a garbage bag and looked back to her.

Brianna smacked him across his face, leaving a red handprint. "You are not to destroy my furniture! You are lucky I'm even giving you a room. Keep this up and you will be sleeping in the hallway!" she yelled. "Now, go make me dinner. I want spaghetti." she left his room, slamming the door behind her and walked back into hers.

Kro walked out of the room the red almost escaping his face in a matter of seconds. He walked down stairs and looked at the pots and pans. 'This is overwellming,' he thought looking at how many there were. He had never even touched a cooking utensil. He grabbed one that he had seen a former slave friend use to make burgers and put it on the oven. He turned the oven to full blast and drowned the pan in water. When water was over flowing he put noodles and ketchup into the pan.

Brianna decided to go make sure he was doing as she told him to, and walked downstairs to the kitchen. She walked over next to him and watched what he was doing. She couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry. It's just you are doing it way wrong" she said inbetween giggles. She turned off the oven and rinsed off the pan. "Lets order pizza instead" she said. "There are flowerpots on the balcony in the library. Go water them, please. The watering can should be on the balcony next to them" Brianna said and went off to find the phone.

Kro walked to the balcony and started to water the plants. "What waste of my strength," he whispered to him self while moving pots in front of him with his wings. He could fly away right now but the last time we tried he had got another scar. Usually he heals but not even he can hid from his scars. He had gotten shot down and he felt pain as did all the other times a scar was left.

Brianna decided just to make sandwiches tonight. She went into the kitchen and made two grilledcheese sandwiches and put them on two seperate plates. She layed the plates down on the kitchen table and placed an apple on each plate along with the sandwich. "Kro!" she called up the stairs. "Dinner is ready!"

Kro finished and ran to the top of the stairs. He looked down either side and he jumped off the middle and glided down to the bottom. Once he got to the bottom he said "Damn that feels good to do again," and looked at his wings in amazement that they still work.
