Each of the puppet's is given room and board, housed deep inside Aeishra. Hannan's is much like his room in the cottage just outside of Taminvale. Even his owl is there, sitting quietly.

Hannan eased open the door to his room, laying Renna across his bed, making sure that she would be comfortable. He sat down in his chair, facing Renna's unconsious form. He began to speak to her, even though he knew she couldn't really hear him "Why do I feel such compassion towards you this time around sister? I was bent on destroying you, you and that abomination you call a lover. I suppose you were right. I did end up like mother, and the practice consumed me until the end. But it wasn't the end was it? Because we're both here, neither of us quite alive, yet not dead either." He shook his head. "Why does this happen? Why must we die and not be left in the graces of the Goddess? She allows us peace after death. She does sister, I have seen her,a nd she is beautiful. She showed me all I had done when I was alive, and it brought tears to my eyes to see her so sad. She looked as though her heart was breaking. I tried to tell her I was sorry now for all I had done, but then I awoke. I had my body, I was in infinite pain, and the darkness was everywhere. The Pupper Master was standing over me, revealing how he had brought me back to life. He then offered me the chance to kill him. Then and there. he told me the instant he died, or his power over me left, I too would die. I immediately tried to sister. Oh how I tried. But I could not. I couldn't even move. He told me that I was under his control, and I would have to do as he said. I was then paired with Cecilia, another puppet, and sent to bring you back to him. I suppose you know what happened after that." A tear rolled down his face and onto Renna's. He realized that as he had been talking, he had been leaning ever forward, until now, when he was talking directly to Renna's beautiful face. He sighed and kissed her forehead gently. "Please forgive me sister." He said, sitting back in his chair.

Renna lay there in the bed for a moment longer before she spoke. "How could I not forgive you Hannan? " her voice was a mere whisper, quiet even in the silence of his quarters.

Hannan's head jerked up at hearing her voice. "Because of what I have done, to both you and...that man." He could not bring himself to say the thing's name. "Becuase I am the one that brought you to this vile place." He hung his head and his voice raised to barely a whisper. "Becuase I killed you."

Small whisps of mist swirled in the corner of the room. The mist thickened and condensed until Thanos appeared. He said nothing, he just stood perfectly straight and watched with his mis-matching eyes.

Renna smiled sadly, thought her eyes were still closed. "No matter how greivous your mistakes, my brother.... I will always forgive you... You're my family. I love you."

A small tear rolled down Hannan's face. "Thank you sister." He moved to her side, kissing her softly on the forhead. "I love you too." He spoke soothingly. "Yous should rest. Hermant gave you some pills to make you stronger, but you should let them take effect before you attempt to do anything." As he tunred he saw Thanos standing in the corner, still and silent. He moved to block Renna. "What do you want?" he asked, keeping his voice low.

Thanos blinked, as though pondering this question. Finally, he responded, "You."

Hannan blinked. "I'm afraid I don't quite understand."

Renna's head was still spinning, and she couldn't quite make out the words or voices she heard. "Hannan... who's there?" she whispered.

"Hannan, you were destined to die. In fact, you did. However," Thanos' eyes narrowed, "Here you stand, not quite alive, not quite dead." He folded his hands behind his back, "Hannan, you are supposed to be dead, and I'm going to correct this strange error."

Hannan stroked Renna's hair softly. "It's just a strange man who says exactly what I've been saying, that I shouldn't exist. Don't worry sister." He turned to look into the man's mismatched eyes. "And what about her?"

Thanos shook his head, "No, it's not her time yet. It's past yours though." He took a few steps forward, the air around him cold and dry, "You know that you're not supposed to be here."

Hannan hung his head, a rattling sigh escaping his lips. "Please..." he said, looking up to meet his violet eyes with Thanos' mismatched ones. "Let me say goodbye." He turned to face Renna, stroking her face gently. "Rennara, my darling sister, I can't stay here any longer. When I go, do not cry for me. I have seen the Goddess once before, and I know I'm going to a better place. Rennara, be happy, live long, and may you never lose the fight." He kissed her forehead gently, turning back to Thanos. "I have been here far too long, and do not wish to live. If you are indeed who your riddles have claimed you to be, then take me, and let it be swift."
