What do you think of him?
I personally like the guy. I've never actually listened to his music, but as a person I like him.
Anyone heard of Ryan White? The kid who died of AIDs? He went to my school (which SUCKS) when he was alive, and Elton John supposedly taught the Choir to sing a song at his funeral which is jut down the street from my school... too bad Ryan White wasn't the angel he's made out to be - he was actually a bit of an a*****e. (But who wouldn't, anyway?) They used to tell us about him in kindergarten and show us movies about how people with AIDs are human, but nobody really cared. The only thing that made him different from everyone else with AIDs was that he was straight. Apparently we didn't want to feel the same compassion for gay or bi people with the disease.
Anyway, Elton John is Sean Lennon's godfather, which is awesome. x3

I don't really know what he's like as a person, but I like Elton John's music. I think many of his songs are very pretty (things like "Tiny Dancer", "Your Song", and "Border Song"). He's talented at writing music (and I also think Bernie Taupin at least was a good lyricist).

I haven't heard much of his work but what i have heard i like and like miss_phantasmagoria i like him as a person.....i love his fashion

Meh he's okay.
I like a few of his songs, don't know much about him as a person.

I was obsessed with him as a kid- Tiny Dancer was my "performance piece" for a long time whenever we had company over when I was small. Dad played the piano and I would sing.
It's neat the he came to teach your choir! I'm actually pretty jealous.

I love the guy, and I was raised on em. My mother was a huge fan.
"Hey johnny" was the best song. It was all about Lennon.
