Message from Name Face Pen Dead, "N"NOTE: Well this is an ability I found out a while ago, but it also turns out a lot of people can't do it. So bare with me, this is how it works to my knowledge.
Everything has a sort of heat, by which I don't think I mean temperature... but more of the fog of spirit energy around people. This denseness can be felt as if it were accumulating on the skin, like a fog would. I think the easiest way to do this is to first get familiar with spirit threads. After doing that exercise, hold your hands together as if you were about to pray. After the warmth finally circulates from your hands, it should get all over your body. This will become a reference later. Let yourself cool and go out into the real world for a while. Now when you go by people and hold conversations, you should feel a difference in temperature about your skin depending on how the person talks and reacts to you. About 2-3 feet is good for this exercise I think. If you are looking face on at the person and you should feel either a peculating fog upon the whole part of your body put in that person's direction. That usually only happens when they feel hostile, or threatening. However, the very opposite should occur if the person is in love with you. It should feel more like a tropical climate coming from that direction.

I just once felt something similar to what you described.. I felt a very warm (heat) energy coming from the direction of someone sitting next to me.. It was enveloped all around them not me.. but i could still feel it because that person was sitting somewhat close to me..
don't know if it is the real thing i experienced or only their body heat though.. because I didn't touch him or anything.. it was energy heat i'm sure of it o.O
