i love both bands, they are great and left something that now musitians can use to create some music, i belive we can still hear about them because of their great sence of making music.
It is really odd the different influences the two left behind. Zeppelin influenced a lot of the more heavier bands as well as some normalish rockers like Heart. The Stones influenced pretty much straight forward rock and roll. I just find that so interseting.
Especially considering how...varied Zeppelin was. Could go from folk instrumentals to guitar solos. Two great bands either way. Hands Down.
