About: Her mother is Fire Nation and her father is Earth Kingdom. Her mother was kidnapped by Kaya's father and fell in love. They ecaped together and had a child. But fate wasn't kind. A Firebender in the Fire Navy found Kaya's father alone and killed him. Swearing vengence, the now widowed mother returned to the Fire Nation and was granted a life close to the palace. She secretly raised her daughter against the Fire Nation. Earlier in life Kaya visited the palace everyday, helping her mother discover anything useful. As she grew older, she vanished, leaving all who knew her baffled.

About:Her mom lives in the earth nation and so does her dad. Once she was fighting a fire nation guard and they gave her a black mark from her left eye to her left hand. She isn't exaclty happy and exited all the time but she isn't shy and not talkitive either, shes sorta in between. She likes to earthband and use her swordes, she has two that cross on her back.

Nation: Fire - but hates the fire lord and the way he governs. She used to be Azula's friends (along with Ty Lee and Mai), but grew to hate them all.
Appearance:
Personality: Mei Li is very adventurous, and brave. She loves her element of fire, but hates the Fire Lord and generally, the Fire Nation. She is talkative with friends, but rather shy with strangers unless she has a "gut feeling" they're good. She wanders a lot, and usually lives in the woods. She dresses really well, even though she isn't that "rich." The Qi Pao she is wearing in the picture is her favorite dress that she had before her family was slaughtered. That's the dress she wears most often.
Bio: Her family was all slaughtered by the Fire Nation when she was 13, for committing "treason" by helping others from different nations. She escaped the Fire Lord's grasp, but is now wanted.
