Ok, so, I have several different theories about different thingsin the book, and I think we should all compare/contrast our own and stuff =D

Post anything you want, but please makes spoilers in white so that you have to highlight them so that you don't ruin the new book for anyone else 3nodding

I have this theory about Jon Snow's mom and stoof...
~SPOILERS~ (highlight to see)
Ok, so Ned says that Jon is his own b*****d. Tcheah right! My theory is; Lyanna Stark fell in love with Rheagar Targaryen and they had a child. The reason why she was covered with blood in Ned's memory was because she had just had Jon. She had him promise to bring her home and have her buried in the lowerlevels and to take care of Jon. She was in the Tower of Hope to be protected from Robert just in case he found out! He murdered many innocent from that line already, he'd feel betrayed and angry about the child and order Jon executed! =o It all makes sense~ That's why Ned never told Catelyn who Jon's mom was, and why he never told Robert the truth!! =D

Yep, that's definitely one of the most popular theories out there, and one I believe in firmly. 3nodding

I posted this before everything got cleared, and seeing as alot of the people on here are new I think I will repost somthing I said before, if only to help fill this place out a bit.

It goes simply: Bran goes north, Bran learns stuff from the Crow, Bran bring an army of doom south, an army that is composed of Others and some more of those frozen guys that Sam slew one of beyond the wall.

My train of thought is relatively straight foreward based mostly on the fact that Bran nearly controlled Hodor, so how hard would it be to control a bunch of souless dead guys? Also Old Nan used to tell stories about how the others used to come south in large numbers, some even on horses(perhaps elk but the named got mixed up after so many retellings). Whats to say that it wasn't some sort of wilding warg or gourp of them that made the others go south? It seemes to me to be the sort of dramatic stuff that Martin throws out there. Imagine what sort of place that would place both King Bran and his Lord Commander brother Jon if they had to fight it out. The Nights Watch was formed to keep such forces on the north side of the wall, and with Stannis and the crazy Red Lady on the wall as well...

Thought I would put it out there for you to think about.
